Every room has been completely and carefully renovated. My wife and I stayed here and visited Superior with a Local First Arizona tour group, and we loved it. While you can still see the historical features and beauty of the property, it does not require that you suffer by using antiquated facilities. The bathrooms are updated and spotless, the service is friendly and it's in the heart of everything going on in Superior - and just feet from a terrific canyon hiking trail!

I love this hotel. My husband and I got married on the roof and had our reception in the tea room and were treated like royalty. Everyone from the owner to the wait staff are the kindest people and treat you like family. I couldn't have asked for a better place to begin our new lives together. The views from the roof are spectacular with the cliffs surrounding this historic building. The building has been meticulously restored and still a has modern feel to it. The bathtubs are nice and long and you will just feel like you're at home. Such a beautiful place to retreat to and feel like you're in a simpler time. Thank you to everyone who made our day and our stay s here so perfect

Then the RV started to have plumbing issues and we both knew we wouldn't be able to stay in the RV for 1 more night. Someone suggested we stay at Cedar Hill Bed & Breakfast. I'm so glad that we did! I can not say enough good things about Cedar Hill. The whole house is kept up very well. I love the decor, many things in the home seem to be original like the bath tub and some light fixtures, etc. It was a charming place to stay. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. I felt like we were staying with someone my family has been friends with for ages. At night we drank wine out front on the porch swing and had great conversation. In the morning we sat out in the backyard and enjoyed the sunshine with our coffee and a things to nosh on. I would definitely recommend this Bed & Breakfast. It's perfect for a mother and daughter get away, a couple looking to get away, a single guy or gal (on an adventure, road trip, or business), even a small family who is looking to stay at a home away from home. I took the liberty of taking many photos around the first floor. Check this place out!

We found a local market close by and got a bottle of wine, which we drank on the charming front porch while hanging out with the cat, to relax after a day of riding. The spacious old house was really cool and clean and I felt as if we were staying at some forgotten cousin's place. Homey in a good way! There was nice art on the wall and good books on the shelves. We slept well, had a little breakfast in the morning and were on our way. It was a nice experience, a good deal, and I would stay there again!

Was i supposed to check out yesterday? What? Well.. Went to checkout and find out. Receptionist bless her soul was amazing. Maintenance man very apologetic, and the General Manager - who answers to no one- was incredibly rude, dismissive, decided to let me know i was at fault, told me she wouldn't be contacting anyone and I could stand there as long as I would like. That was short lived as she threatened to trespass me as I was "making a disturbance" in an empty lobby. Never in my life would I think this is okay for hospitality. You all woke us up early before a 21hr drive. As your manager said, yes I get to reap the rewards of being tired and cranky, better yet an over tired infant in a car for the next day. So kind of yall. TO THE GENERAL MANAGER- Being a bully, speaking over people, walking away while talking, and showing your power trip by clapping your hands in the face of your employees telling them to leave is not appropriate or acceptable in any fasion. Doesn't matter. This is disgraceful. As a business owner, I will tell you that I would have fired you the second you undermine your employee infront of a paying customer. You should quit before you are fired, and held accountable. Good day.

From the beginning stages of planning their wedding Angela offered upped many suggestions to help make the day special, from where to have hair and make up done, staging of lights, chairs and tables.....etc. all the details required to make a wedding day run smoothly. Fernando ( maintenance man) was available to help in setting up and taking down lights and prepping the courtyard. Alicia ensured the bar was set up and properly stocked (very important) and the kitchen ready for the caterers. The day of the wedding was absolutely amazing and Angela was checking in throughout the event and did a follow up call the next day, great customer services. The GKI has the best views and such a comfortable feel for hosting a wedding. I would highly recommend the GKI venue and call Angela to make your event extra special.

We stayed one night in room 23 for $72.93, which was slightly below average price for the trip. HE: Globe is a small mining town in Arizona. SHE: Yes, and the Belle-Aire is clearly an independently owned little motel. Not a chain. HE: The guy at the desk was very nice, very pleasant. SHE: We were staying right behind the office and separated a little bit from the rest of the Motel. This one was it seemed to be attached to their home. Which only made it a little bit weird because there was a door in our room. It was locked, and there was no door knob, at least on our side, and there was a little nightstand in front of it, but It seemed kind of odd. HE: It was more of an access panel that might have gone to a utility room or something. SHE: Okay, but it's a full size opening HE: It didn't have a doorknob, didn't have a door. SHE: It had padlock that we couldn't lock because we didn't have the key. HE: It seem more like an access panel to a utility area. SHE: Okay, so anyway, it's a small room, which isn't a problem. If we were kind, we'd call it cozy. If we weren't kind, we'd leave. I think the space wasn't used terribly well, though. HE: Well, let's just get right to it. My favorite part of the motel was the robotic shower. The thing had seven different shower settings? I liked the waterfall setting myself. Although I do think it was placed six inches to a foot too high because two of them blasted straight into my face. SHE: Choose your own shower adventure. Hopefully there's a picture of that. Do you want to keep talking about the shower? HE: I could talk about it all day. SHE: I was a little concerned about the possible cleanliness because there were hard water stains on the shower head, HE: Yeah, the shower could use a good scrub down. SHE: It wasn't really filthy or anything, it was just ready for cleaning day. I wore my waterproof slides Into the shower because I wasn't sure about the shower floor. But the thing that got me was a little container thing. It doesn't have a top, so I guess it's sort of a shelf. It looked kind of grimy. It really needs a cleaning. So that made me very concerned about the cleanliness of the rest of the shower. HE: The sheets were very soft. Hardwood floors. SHE: I have now learned not to go barefoot on hardwood floors in hotels. Your feet get filthy. HE: I prefer carpet. SHE: It has a big picture window facing the sunrise. There are blackout curtains but be careful about where those seams are. A tiny bit of sun went right in my face in the morning and woke me up. HE: There's a refrigerator. SHE: The freezer didn't freeze the ice packs overnight, but they're cold. HE: There's a microwave we didn't use. SHE: I used the microwave. HE: Oh, you did? SHE: Oh yeah, it worked. HE: There's a flat screen TV mounted in the corner above all that, but we didn't use that either. SHE: There was only one nightstand, and it was the smallest nightstand I've ever seen in my life. HE: Well, they've gotten some cheap furnishings to fill the place up. SHE: There's really shabby drawers that are made of cloth, and they're falling apart. There's a cheap lamp that is falling apart. They need better quality furnishings. It did have two power outlets and USB ports. HE: The desk table did not have any outlets. There was a power strip hanging behind the refrigerator, I guess so that the TV cord could reach it, but I didn't touch it because it looked precarious. SHE: There were a couple of outlets in the bathroom. HE: It's funny how that's become so important. SHE: Again, very few surfaces. No surfaces, really. There was the desk, which was a decent sized desk, but that was it. There was not even any bathroom counter. There's no place in the bathroom to put anything, HE: It's right by a busy road, but it's quiet. SHE: Neighborhood? HE: Shrug, I have no idea. There's nothing there. Our room did have a little porch with a chair so you can sit outside, SHE: There were a couple of stairs, but they were very steep. HE: We got to park right in front of the door, so that was nice. They had a little lounge area nearby If you want to sit outside. It wasn't very inviting though.

Overgrown grass, broken fence, etc. This was expected, and I had read other reviews mentioning it. We gave it a try since it was in a good location and very affordable. The check-in was easy, and the front desk staff was nice. Pros- Good price, the room was clean and had no carpet (Im not a fan of carpet), had a mini fridge and microwave and toiletries. The cons- a/c didn't really cool the room that well (I woke up sweating and had to mess with the a/c). Water in the shower never got warm or hot, and although it does have a nice rain shower, it was leaking water everywhere. Also, the outside needs a lot of work. All in all, it wasn't a horrible experience but probably will stay elsewhere next time.
