Walking into the place was amazing, salesman was great to listen and friendly Ordered the couch, salesman said I'll call you on Tuesday to a range delivery on next Friday Week one - No call. I called Wednesday, they said it's not in the other store ordering in from warehouse, Be delivered next Friday Week two - I called Tuesday for an update, my salesman answered pulled my file and put me on hold a woman answered, said the warehouse does not have it gonna make you a new one, it will be here this Friday and out for delivery Friday came no calls Week three - I called Wednesday asking for update, again the sales man passed the call to the woman said couch will be here this Friday, new from warehouse Friday came no call Week four - I called to complain on Monday new salesman answered had no idea. Purchased couches on payment plan while waiting for our new home to be built. June 2016 couches were delivered, and they were broken upon delivery. Have been calling on a regular basis and getting the run around about them being fixed since June its now October. There is a 5 year warrenty that will probably expire before they actually follow through and fix them! We have been calling regularly to have these couches fixed and always the same bullshit story! $2100 for broken couches and garbadge customer service... One star is WAY too much, they need to add a minus - star feature. The original owners of this store were honest, hard working people who cared about their customers. The new owners are cheap, ruthless, and flat out liars. Once they have your money they treat you like dirt. The day my furniture was delivered was a joke. They were 8 (yes 8) hours late and that resulted in my furniture being haphazardly slapped together. Almost instantly one of my dining set chairs broke under the weight of my 3 year old son, the leg snapped off cause my son to fall to the floor after smashing his head on the side of the table. My bed frame was so poorly assembled that after my wife and I climbed on for the first time the screw holes stripped and needed to be filled with plastic anchors. I approached the owner of the store with the broken chair and he insisted it wasn't covered under my warranty, after some heated discussion he agreed the warranty would cover the chair but I had to pay a "shipping" fee of $55 plus tax. The chair took two months to arrive and I live 3 towns away, plus I work up north and have a very small window of free time. I went in to get the chair a week after they called and they said I waited too long and they sent it back. After some more EXTREMELY heated discussion he managed to locate the chair two days later but refused to assemble it for me. I assembled it, reassembled the remaining furniture to avoid any more headache, and vowed to never give the greedy SOB another dime, which is unfortunate for him because I need appliances too ;) STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

Don't shop here. They do not stand behind their products and do not honour warranties.

Do not shop there! Order delivered, mis-matched furniture, and they accuse that is what we ordered? HuH? Yet no model numbers were indicated on our invocie? Our invoice was screwed up not once but twice? Calculated wrong. Then they argue with us the "Customer". Then requested to correct the order, 3 months later, after one to two calls per week, no not on the the truck this week, no not on the truck this week. Then finally we call 3 months 2 weeks later, their answer, the corrected piece, is NO LONGER IN STOCK? Why did you lie to me all this time, when you put the order in they would have indicated it was no longer in stock, their answer, we do not have a computer. Worst experience ever. The bottom line all they can do is give us a credit to shop in their store, who in their right mind would attempt another experience as we have just experienced. I will be demanding a full refund, but know this will be battle. All I can do is put this message out where ever possible. read more

This has been the worst experience for us to purchase a sofa. We found something we liked and immediately paid for it. It was to be delivered on Monday ... no call and no delivery. When I called to inquire about the delivery, I was told that they had a truck repair problem and could not deliver that day. We re-scheduled for the following day ... again no phone call from them and no delivery. It was only when I called in again to find out that delivery would not be that day. We did get delivery on the third day, but the delivery left us with $500 wall damage, as our walls are hand plastered and not an easy fix. When I phoned to complain about this, I was told that the delivery guys said it was a small scratch and that it was no big deal. I told them they needed to come and see for themselves. It was not a scratch, but rather a hole in the wall. We were told that they had problems with their delivery guys and that they can't seem to keep them employed. I think that it why the truck repair excuse was used for the first two days ... they didn't have anyone to do the delivery. Needless to say, we were left to repair for the wall damage ourselves. Would definitely not recommend them for business even if it was the last place to go. We make sure that if anyone we know is going there to shop that they hear about our experience. It's time that Penticton gets on the band wagon and treats their customers with true patronage. read more
