Great service in the store but watch out with delivery guys. Delivery person in charge damaged one of my recliners pushing it trough the door. He didn't care. Then he was trying to make me keep it and report as damaged "to get a replacement faster" he said. He lied to me saying that this way would be faster and asked to sign as item receipt. I did not accept it and called the store for a replacement. They will send it to me in 5 days. Delivery driver was rude and upset because I didn't do what he wanted. I will be very careful when they come back. Hope is not the same person read more

Mind you I paid for express delivery they didnt knock or ring the doorbell now they're telling me I need to wait 24-48 hours to reschedule delivery nahh i need a refund thats horrible business. read more

Beware. You will treated as though you matter while in the store, but once you sign the deal you are on your own. I am currently stuck with furniture that was delivered damaged and nobody is too interested in resolving the issue. Forget getting any resolution from the sales person who was so accommodating in the store. They will tell you that there's nothing that they can do. Good luck trying to get help through the online system. read more

ROOMS TO ROOMS TO GO. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE MERCHANDISE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FROM MANAGER CONNER. BEWARE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS HORRIBLE STORE. I bought a sofa, loveseat, 2 rugs and 2 rug pads which was a total of $3046.85.I paid that off with my approved Rooms To Go credit card. When they came to deliver the merchandise (loveseat) was damaged.Photo's will be attached. I called to file a claim with the warranty I paid for and they came to bring me a second loveseat to replace the first damaged loveseat and the second loveseat was damaged as well. I immediately called the warranty dept to advise them of the damages which they gave me a new date which is today 6-4-2024 to bring me a third loveseat, well of course the 3rd loveseat was damaged as well. The sofa when you recline it all the leather gatheres to one side and looks very ugly. The rug pad I purchased to place under the rug to not scratch the floors they installed it upside down so the scratchy side is on the floor. So today after getting the 3rd damaged loveseat I have had enough. I called customer service with no help but said they do not do returns. I then called the Lafayette. La location and spoke with the manager Conner with again no help. He told me they do not refund and only repair or replace with a different item. I told him to go look to see if they had something of what I would want and Conner told me they had nothing to replace it with. So now they cannot fix it or replace it and he will not refund my money. I told him I was going to write negative reviews on them and he said well it will not hurt us financially because we already got paid. I told him I will go picket tomorrow and warn customers and he said he would throw me off the property and have me arrested. Such HORRIBLE SERVICE. I will NEVER, EVER buy from Rooms To Go again. They do not tell you there is no refunds.I called the bank that paid them off and we filed a dispute against them. As of now there is an open dispute, I will also file with BBB, CFPB, and I will file for arbitration. BEWARE NOT TO GET IN A SITUATION LIKE I AM IN. BEWARE. read more

Purchased furniture at the Room To Go, Lafayette, La, Ambassador Caffery location on June 30th. Two days later, I canceled the order. Fast forward to September 2nd, and Rooms To Go has still not returned the $1,000 down payment I made . I have called three times and gotten different stories about my refund. I advise every buyer to think twice before doing business with this dishonest company. It didn't take 10-21 days for them to process the down payment t and take the money from my account. It shouldn't take 10-21 days to return it. read more

Lisa and Donyell were amazing!! The sweetest humans and the best experience!!! Will be returning for future furniture purchases and asking for one of them . read more

Terrible experience with Manager Conner, I was in store over 3 hours buying a sofa, chair and mattress he kept changing how much I needed to put down until I finally canceled the order, he was very unconcerned that I was dissatisfied. This guy should not be a manager . read more

I ordered and paid for furniture on November 25, 2022. I set the delivery date for December 22, 2022 to have it in time for our family Christmas gathering. My delivery was set for the window of 1-5 p.m. on December 22, 2022. At 5:20 I called to inquire. The first girl I spoke to told me that they called me and left a voicemail. She said that because I did not answer or call back they reset my deliver for Christmas Eve between 1 and 5. I told her that I had not received any calls and had no voicemails. I had kept my phone on my side all day knowing that this was delivery day. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor told me that the reason my deliver was moved to Saturday is because the Friday schedule was full. I told her that is not what the first girl told me, so I have no been lied to twice. My sister also bought furniture and she was the delivery scheduled immediately after mine. I called her and asked her to call and inquire about her delivery. She, too, was told that they called and because she did not answer her delivery was also postponed until Saturday. I asked for the location of the sofa so that I could go and pick it up. I was told it was in the warehouse in Pearl River, La. How is it that it is in the warehouse 2 hours away when it was supposed to be delivered today. I have never had such poor service and I have never been blatantly lied to. I truly don't imagine this company will be able to maintain itself with service like this. I truly hope someone will reach out to me. This is Christmas and I did my part..all of my part and, to be treated like this, is just completely unacceptable. read more

If you need help picking a mattress go see Bennett Ledet! Very knowledgeable in Tempur-Pedic and was able to help me pick the perfect one. Will definitely be going back to see him anything else. read more

My boyfriend and I had gone to multiple furniture stores and were disappointed at each. We finally went to Rooms to Go and Brittany was quick to greet us with a warm atmosphere. The show room was very clean, and there were a lot of great pieces. The employees give you your space while you shop, and it was easy to find Brittany again when we needed to make our purchase. She was very thorough and made sure to listen to us. We haven't received our item yet, but we got to select a fairly close delivery date. We will definitely be back. read more

17 months after having my sofa and "cuddler" there are now visible rips that have opened up in both items. I bought the warranty and was denied coverage deeming it "normal wear and tear therefore not covered". We are very careful with our furniture and this shouldn't have happened. I would suggest not buying furniture from Rooms to Go. read more

Save a headache- buy somewhere local. We ordered some furniture, the delivery date was a few weeks out, and we should've canceled and gone elsewhere. Once the items came in the sofa was damaged, and we had to get a replacement, again a few weeks. Add on that it is simply a bad delivery experience, it's a stay home all day, hope they call when they show up. No way to call anyone local to find out anything. The furniture isn't any nicer, or cheaper than the other places that treat customers better. read more

HORRIBLE DELIVERY! this is the third time and last time we ever purchase anything from rooms to go. They are all nice and friendly at the showroom but god forbid you have to make and change or return something. I ordered a twin bed for my son last month. It took a month for them to finally make the delivery. I allowed the delivery guys to put together the bed and unfortunately didn't check the bed before they left. 5 minutes after they left i went to take a look and they had installed the headboard backwards. I called the store which transferred me to their call center located in god knows where. I said please tell the drivers to come back and fix the mistake. they said they could not do that and i would have to wait for their first opening which would be 4 weeks from today. I said thats ridiculous as i could see the guys driving away and the agent told me thats the way it is. So i hung up and called the store to see if they could do anything and they said they are a showroom and everything goes through their call center. So now I am stuck with a bed that is improperly put together and i have to wait another 1 month for a tech to come and flip the headboard..... making the wait almost 2 months. I am going to call and ask for a refund as this is ridiculous! read more

The only reason I'm giving this more than one star was because of the gentlemen who first greeted me on my first visit. He was great and so helpful. However, a week later I went back into the store INSTEAD of buying online since these individuals get commission. Thought I would help them out. I walked around for 5 minutes with multiple employees passing by and not one offered to help or even asked how I was doing, etc. I went in already knowing what I wanted and just needed someone to help me. So after another 5 minutes of walking around, I decided to sit on a couch near the front of the store. Countless times people passed only with their heads down. 15 minute passed and I decided to start making the purchase online in their store and STILL NO ONE EVEN SPOKE A WORD TO ME. I even had the bright red ROOMS2GO card smack in the middle of the table. I would've stopped the online process if someone would've helped, but sadly I ended up making a 3k purchase ONLINE while sitting in this store. Highly recommend the Cindy Crawford collection. Other than that, staff I recommend you don't judge a book by its cover. I was in Nike shorts and a T-shirt and tennis and probably looked so tired from working at the hospital but...anyways. read more

We purchased an expensive motorized dual-reclining sofa two years ago.  This weekend, our thirteen-year-old granddaughter who was visiting from Texas pressed the button to recline her side of the sofa.  It went back but would not come up again.  We tested our electrical outlet and determined that was not the problem. When I contacted Customer Service today, I expected to be able to get a qualified technician (at our expense) who could fix it.  With the Christmas holidays approaching, we do not want a sofa that protrudes into the walk area of our living room.  I was told that I could hire someone locally to assess the problem and then order the parts, which would entail another service charge to have the sofa fixed. This sofa is an expensive piece of junk!  I wish that, rather than paying to have a celebrity's name on it, you had invested in better parts and workmanship.  We will never, EVER buy anything from Rooms To Go again! read more

Avoid this store. Furniture looks good, but you can get elsewhere with better delivery and customer service. We had delivery appointment set for 11-2 pm on Friday. They called and moved it to 1-5pm. After 6pm we received a call saying they were running late due to a big delivery. At 8:30 pm another call saying they had one more "easy" stop before they deliver. At 9pm we called store and asked them to move out delivery until tomorrow since they are over 10 hours late. The store then stated it would cost another $50 delivery fee to do that. When we informed store the delivery was extremely late he quickly transferred us to the logistics group who told us they were on the way, and can deliver as late as 10pm. Last and only purchase from this horrible customer service store! But will take the time waiting to share with many people about the need to avoid this store. It looks like I will have a lot of time tonight. read more

Furniture was damaged when delivered. New furniture was not delivered as scheduled, because it had rained the night before. Delivery men unilaterally rescheduled delivery for a Sunday (6/9), when I was out of town. Customer service refused to reschedule delivery until 7/23. She claimed that the new furniture (already on the truck and set for delivery on 6/9) was somehow "out of stock", that delivery before 7/23 was "impossible", and that this delivery almost 1.5 months later was part of a "policy". read more

People are friendly but this is a deceptive business. I canceled an order 5 days after i paid for it an a week before it was even delivered and they would only refund 80 % of my money. Horrible customer service! read more

Just had a terrible experience here. We came to a deal with the sales rep. The sales rep started to take our information for the purchase. He went to the office came back, we thought, to continue the purchase. We were told by him that the deal was no longer available. They called the corporate office and they told them they could not sell it at that price AFTER they had already told us the purchase was good to go. I don't plan to come back. read more

We have bought MULTIPLE rooms from this company and have been somewhat satisfied with the furniture, store reps, and delivery personnel. After months of having our mattress, I called to complain about the lack of comfort it had and the noise the box spring made. They sent a tech over and the box spring needed to be replace but said the discomfort was because of the box spring. Months after the new box spring arrived, I called again about the discomfort. They sent another tech over to measure and take picture of the mattress. A few days later, a customer service rep called to say the measurements complied with the warranty so there was nothing they could do because they "do not guarantee comfort". How can a company who sells mattresses NOT care about there customers comfort? Also, there was one instance where the delivery personnel was sagging so bad that his butt was showing. Not his underwear, his BUTT. The other one with him had marijuana leaves printed on his socks. Really?? read more

Can not get a human on the phone. When a person answers they forward you to someone else---you might say "pass the buck." I have a simple malfunction that no one seems to want any part of. I paid nearly $100 for extra warranty. The warranty company claims the store is responsible for the first period of service. The store has stopped answering my call(I think they recognized my number).Store #609 is the place we made the purchase. Beware of extra warranties, and excessive delivery fees. read more

Wish I had read all the reviews before purchasing and taking entire day off to sit at home and wait to only keep getting calls stating they were pushing time back. 11-2 then at 11:30 get a call 3-5 then at 3:30 5-9. Seriously you are going to delivery furniture to a family at 9pm?!? about to tell them to shove it and go pay twice as much at local store to get delivery time accurately given to me! read more

After reading many poor reviews of this business, I went against my better judgment and purchased living room furniture from here. They ordered the furniture on their computer (which I could have done at home or on my phone) tried to charge multiple delivery fees, then didn't stand by their products. They tell you one thing about returns when they are selling you furniture, but what they say doesn't hold up. Read the fine print! Better yet, don't buy from here. Try a place that stands by their furniture, even if it's been years, like Olindes. Shouldn't have tried to go the cheaper route. You get the furniture and experience you pay for. read more

If you're questioning about buying anything from rooms to go. Don't. There is a reason for their 1.5 star rating and it shows. First of all their delivery is absolutely horrible, take my advice and save yourself the stress and don't come here ever. My room alone came with a bed frame, mattress, dresser, extra top piece for the dresser, and a side table with a glass top... There has been a total of FIVE delivery's for everything I just stated out that my parents purchased, yet I still don't have everything... FIVE DELIVERY'S!! The FIRST delivery I just got my mattress. SECOND delivery was only the wood part of my side table but not the glass top was in, and I got my bed frame which had scratches on the bottom bed posts. THIRD delivery they completely exchanged just the wood part of the table and gave me a new one with the glass top, like how it's supposed to have, and I got the main part of the dresser. When they were done with the third delivery the dresser was messed up. It had a dent in it and scratches on the side, so no question about it we reported the issue and planned for an exchange. Also I got the extra top piece for my dresser, luckily that wasn't messed up, which was impressing at this point. FOURTH delivery (you're going to love to hear this) the delivery guys take out my old dresser and start rolling in the new wrapped up one. They unwrap it AND IT'S A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DRESSER. And that's not even the good part. So they let us know it's not the right one, and we were shocked Rooms To Go messed up so bad on this whole thing. Then they flip it over to roll it back out and there was a MAJOR hole at the bottom of it. It literally looked like someone punched through it and left a big mark. And they never gave me back my old dresser because they said "We already put it in the truck." So we were thinking it must have been store policy or something. Last but not least, the FIFTH delivery. The guys had the right dresser but they don't set it up yet because the delivery was marked as an exchange and the last time THEY KEPT MY DRESSER. So they call Rooms To Go, my mom is talking to the 1-(800) number and they don't give it to us. So now we're going onto the SIXTH delivery and y'all better get it right this time because I promise you we're never buying from Rooms To Go ever again. Rooms To Go has a bad reputation on their delivery anyway. And take my advice, if you want a better reputation on your store, and a higher rating... Get it together. Because as of right now I'm going to keep posting this exact same rating until Rooms To Go gets this delivery right. One more thing I wish I was able to a 0 star rating because that's how horrible my experience has been, but unfortunate it doesn't let me. So enjoy your 1 star you don't deserve it. read more

don't waste your hard earned money here! first of all, my kids saved up their money to buy a desk for their room with a chair. we walked in and they picked out what they want. i found the desks and chairs to be too expensive for the quality, but they really wanted them, so i let them buy the desks and chairs. they delivered 2 weeks later. we were out of town, so i had my father in law at my home to let them in. when they called and told me the time, i asked if they could call ahead so he wouldn't have to sit there all day, they told me that they don't do call aheads. so fine, they showed up about 30 minutes after the scheduled time. my father in law asked them to take off their shoes, since it was a new house. they told him that it was against company policy to do so. needless to say, they tracked mud and dirt throughout the house. they set up the furniture and 2 weeks later, i noticed that the hutch i bought for my room had 2 big scratches on it from a razor knife. the keyboard drawer on the desk fell on my son's head while he was picking something up off the ground. when my husband checked the screws, he was able to take them out by hand. called customer service, and they sent someone out a few days later. they guy showed up at 10:00am, and stayed all day to repair everything. he "repaired" my hutch by sanding and refinishing it. lord, i could have given my kids a piece of sandpaper and a crayon and they would have done a better job. there is also no wheeling and dealing. the price is what it is. read more
