When we got to the pool, they already knew exactly who it was for. I even showed them a quick note on my phone, and they caught on instantly. That level of attentiveness really stood out. We booked a couples massage, and it was absolutely amazing. The room itself was beautiful, calming, and honestly unreal. The entire facility--from the locker rooms to the sauna, steam room, and showers--was spotless. It's one of those places where you actually enjoy taking your time getting ready because everything feels so clean and luxurious. I then left the massage early (20 minutes into the massage) and I spoke to the lady at the front desk who was very sweet and understanding, and told me that I am scheduled the following week for a regular two hour massage with Holly. I left feeling better that a place was so understanding excited for my massage with Holly the following week. I then received a call from one of the owners the following day while at work stating that she was sorry about my experience but she was asking if she could charge 55 dollars for my massage with the male masseuse who thought I had just left to the restroom. I did not feel comfortable going back and explaining the scenario to the masseuse, I had thought that my experience with the front office staff was sufficient. I then told the owner I have no problem pls charge me 60 and I will not be returning to this massage spa. This is a place supposedly run by women, I was expecting greater understanding and care rather than immediately pivoting to the charge. As a regular customer as well, I was shocked especially I explained the entire sequence of events over the phone . Very disappointed. When I arrived, I was told that paying extra for deep tissue only included TWO focus areas. That was honestly very strange to me. I expected the pressure level to apply to the overall massage, not just two spots. The massage therapist was kind, and the massage started off strong, but shortly after it became extremely light pressure for most of the session. The "deep tissue" portion only lasted maybe 20 minutes total between the two areas I selected, while the rest felt more like a very light relaxation massage. It just wasn't what I expected based on how it was advertised. To make matters worse, the session started late and ended early. My 50 or 60 minute massage ended up being closer to about 42 minutes total. Then when I went to check out, I was initially charged the full $155 price despite the advertised first-time client discount. I had to remind the front desk myself about the promotion before it was applied. Overall, the space itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the actual experience felt disappointing for the price.
