Don in sales patiently walked us through our options for shingles, ice water shield, skylights, venting, and gutters. Was very thorough and was not pushy. Team came in and completed a 2nd and 3rd story roof with gables, skylights, venting, flashing, gutters, etc in a day. After an unfortunate ice dam that they helped remove, they went above and beyond by redoing the area with new vent, ice water shield, and shingles to ensure they did all they could to prevent reoccurrence. He came by, spent about 10 min walking around, rang the doorbell and gave me a sheet of paper with the quote. Easy and painless as that. I asked for roof quote and got exactly what I wanted. He did not need to come inside or make me listen to a 2 hr sales pitch. I've had at least 2 other companies who tried to do that when I was getting a roof for the quote. 1 of them gave me a quote on sidings instead. The other did not even give me a quote because I decided to kick them out after half an hr. After getting some other quotes I decided to go with Robert and he agreed to come out 2 weeks later. His crew came on time as promised but he wasn't physically there until the end of the day. Overall his crew was efficient. They finished within 1 day as promised. The shingles looked okay, not as flat or even like our neighbors but it appeared to be just fine. They finished the roof before a big snow storm and rain/wind storm within the same week. It was able to withstand everything just fine and no noticeable water leak or anything in the attic. I did discovered a small chipped wood area in the attic which I can see some of the underlayment and shingles but water was not getting through or anything. I will continue to monitor. They actually was supposed to install the chimney as well forgot so they returned a few days later to complete it as promised. Overall fantastic job from Robert and his crew. From the quoting process to the fast efficient work. Cosmetically the shingles could have looked a bit better and more even but functionally it seems to have served its purpose and was worth it for the price I paid.

When we were asking around about the best roofers for projects that involve doing a roof on a big old house that is tricky because it is so close to other homes, Duffy came up time and again. After working with them, I can see why! Let me break this review down in a few sections, all of which are equally important: Quality of job One word: impeccable. The Duffy team knows their roofs! Their consultation on how to approach the roof, what materials to use, etc. were all spot on. The day of job was executed flawlessly. Communication Garrett and the Duffy team really stood out in their area. They let us know when the roof would be done, how long it would take, how they would protect our plants and house, and much more. For a huge project like this, it's great to know what's going on. Neighbor relations Again, our house is SUPER close to our neighbors' houses. I felt like the Duffy team spent a level of time and attention addressing neighbor concerns, and protecting their homes, as if they were their own neighbors. Pricing I won't quote their pricing since every roof is different, but I felt it was more than fair given the materials they used and attention to detail they gave to the project. I highly doubt you could get better value for your money anywhere else. The Duffy team was an absolute delight to work with, and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

They did an overpriced, shoddy job installing our roof actually leaving tiles all over it including a tile glue-side down on the skylight that we had to chase them to come remove and a giant permanent black stain on the sidewalk in front of our house. The skylight leaked a month later and again we had to chase them to even get a response. Ignored our calls and would blow off set appointments with no communication whatsoever. Finally they sent two random guys, who didn't bring a ladder (roofers!) and had to use mine, and they charged us more money saying it was because of a mild storm we had. This never happened with our previous roof and was obviously to get out of honoring their fake warranty. Months later the roof leaks again, and again they're either ignoring our calls altogether or the shifty owner tells us a time then blows it off. Avoid this horrible scam of a business at all costs.
