Stratus Roofing was the company that took the time to understand our needs and answered all of our questions. Great roofing company. Sergio Pichardo was the primarily professional we dealt with. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and honest not like some other roofing companies with many 5 stars reviews on Yelp. He provided us with the lowest price. So we decided to go with Stratus Roofing. We glad we made right choice and are very happy Stratus Roofing's work. The whole process went super smooth from contract sign to permits application to roof installation to final pass the city inspection since Sergio had us covered. Sergio is always available whenever we have questions during the process by phone or text. The company did a great job of an entire removal of old roof and replacement with GAF ROOFING SYSTEM. They completed the job in 2 days. The site manager Hector communicated with us to keep us updated during the whole installation. They cleaned up yard and checked for nails. We were very impressed with everyone that we met. Very happy with the completed job. If you need a new roof for your home, you don't need to go further. Stratus Roofing is the one that we highly recommend!

We had several proposals from different companies. The proposal prices were very similar. We finally picked the service of The Roofing Factory. It was the best decision we had made for our house. Pulling Building permit quickly, Tile samples arrived to our front door within few days. The office email update to us everyday. When the project started, Gabriel and his supervisor Ruben Palacio were on the construction site everyday. THEIR SERVICE BEYOND EXPECTATIONS. They have done a wonderful job. My daughter recently purchased a house in the Orlando area with numerous problems--including a…read morefailing roof. Being the fiercely protective mom I am, I committed to finding her a good roofer. Investing so much money was anxiety inducing, particularly after reading horror stories about botched jobs and unscrupulous roofers, but I was determined to make a well-informed decision. I spent two months studying roofs, learning about types of materials and construction, reading articles and blogs, and making phone calls--lots of phone calls. I called an engineer. I called the county building department. I called friends. And I called about a dozen roofing companies in the Orlando area (I could probably write an essay about the nonsense I heard from some of these companies). I listened carefully and researched their responses. I read reviews and I read every line in the contracts sent to me by about half of them. I was relentless because this was my kid I was protecting. Happily, my diligence paid off and my daughter now has a quality roof and sparkling new gutters. Robert Bonesteel at Sheegog Contracting was the project manager I worked with. He spent MONTHS speaking with me. I can honestly say that no one has ever worked harder for my business. Through it all, Robert was extremely kind and never once made me feel that my questions were stupid. He explained things clearly and sometimes took over an hour to clarify something. He never pressured me and encouraged me to read and investigate other companies, which I absolutely did.  Sheegog didn't just slap on a roof. They used GAF Timberline HDZ premium shingles. They repaired decking under the leak and addressed other minor issues. The work site was spotless when they left, but Robert wasn't satisfied. He came out with a magnetic detector and scoured the area for stray nails. He answered my questions and pointed out repairs. He sent a wind mitigation expert. I'm immensely grateful for Robert's kindness and his company's excellent work. Several of my neighbors are interested in having their roofs redone by Sheegog.  To Robert and the team at Sheegog: thank you. You guys rock!

Slow service, outsourcing to third party teams and sloppy work -- we gave up…read more CSL Construction was recommended to us by a water damage crew after a pipe burst in our home. While the water damage crew (a seperate company) did a great job, CSL has been a headache for the past 3+ months. A project, initially slated to be 2-4 weeks took over 3 months. Workers regularly showed up at 10:30 am to leave by 2pm. So I believe this project could have been finished in that time frame, if people actually showed up. The first image I use to show the date of July 17th, already well into their construction as you can see drywall put back up. Today, September 14, the project was "ended," not necessarily finished, but we gave up with CSL's standards. Along with having third party companies do their work (CSL denies this, but the employees themselves gave me their business cards and told them to call "the real workers" for our next project), we only spoke to our project manager when we had serious issues, when we were told he would show up every 2-3 days. NOT ALL NEGATIVE -- I will say, the hardwood flooring installation was done really well. We requested the floor colors and plank length to be mixed around to make it appear random and they did a really good job at that. * It makes me believe that we were given a team that is focused on floors but can "also kind of" do baseboard. * I will also state that our rebuilt bench is really well done. But, I have to note that Project Manager Hunter himself said that the team of two working on it didn't work under CSL and were hired out. I am disappointed in poor communication, sloppy finishing work and the slow speed. I gave a 2 star, instead of 1, because of the nice looking floor and bench installation. And 1 star (to me) would mean they didn't get the project to a livable level.

BE AWARE OF THIS CROOK COMPANY, THEY ARE FRAUD!!! READ THIS…read moreBEFORE HIRING THESE CROOKS!!!! I hired this company to change my damaged roof. They made me sign the AOB (assignment of benefits) which mean your insurance pays them instead of you. My roof was leaking and the roofing company told me they don't know how long the fight with insurance will continue and there is no guarantee that my insurance would pay us to fix the roof. So I went ahead and fixed that damage area plus all the damages inside the house. Six months later my insurance company agreed to pay them. They sent the check directly to the Orlando Roofing Company and I did not even know how much they paid them. This company came and changed the roof and did A VERY BAD JOB!! They tore my window screens and they were so rough on the roof that the fan in my bathroom fell down!! They covered the attic ventilation where the heat was supposed to scape, with shingles. They ruined my yard and patio furnitures by throwing the old shingles down, and the flower beds and driveway were filled with crap and nails. When I called them to come back and fix what they damaged and especially fix the opening in the attic, the crook owner "FRANK" told me: (Don't even talk about it and let it go because we are not coming back!!!) This means the warranty they give you is all BS!! After my insurance company paid them, they cancelled my insurance. I called the insurance to find out how much they paid them because I never got any information. My insurance paid them $45,000 from which $11.300 was to fix the interior damages but I fixed it out of my own pocket and the ORC (Orlando Roofing Company) kept the money my insurance paid them specifically for that. I had to get a lawyer and fight for 6 months till they paid me 1/2 of $11.300!! When my insurance company sent me the papers, I saw that the roofing company claimed damages in my house that did not exist, like living and dining rooms and the kitchen, they even included a picture of someone else's house just to collect more money from my insurance. The whole damages including the roof were not more than $30,000 but with the insurance fraud ORC did, they got more than $45,0000!! I am planing to report them to the authorities for insurance fraud. DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUD COMPANY neither sign AOB with any company unless you request "IN WRITING" two signatures to cash the check that your insurance company will issue(the home owner signature and the roofing company signature) otherwise the roofing companies especially Orlando Roofing Company, are bunch of crooks and they wait till they find a naive homeowner to open their trap for them!! If anyone else feels the same way, we can file a class action lawsuit against this company!!! If you need more information, you can contact me via my email "Rjbeyk@yahoo.com"

In hindsight, the hail damage pictures that Tom showed me were probably from another roof considering my old metal TV Dish lacked any serious hail dents. Fast-forward 1 year after a lengthy appraisal process with insurance--the umpire of the case awarded funds to cover interior damage, but $0 for the roof. Frank gets attorney fees paid whether an insurance case is won or lost thanks to the "one-way attorney fee" provision section 627.428 F.S. before the AOB Reform Bill effective 7/1/2019, which did away with the loophole that caused massive amounts of AOB abuse cases in Florida by contractors. Frank is also keeping attorney fees from funds the umpire of the case awarded us to fix our interior damage, essentially double-dipping. $2500 for a processing fee on top of that. Orlando Roofing Company hasn't done any work to the roof or interior of my home, yet they're trying to keep more than 60% of the insurance award! Last phone conversation I had, Frank scolded me for not being thankful I got any money at all and hung up on me. These are facts, not opinions. Be informed and research FL AOB abuse before you sign anything. And even though Tom will claim that all the legal fees and admin costs are paid on their end, realize that means it's actually taken out of the insurance award even if it's a double-dip. What they really want is your signature on that AOB. I'm taking this up to the Attorney General's Office, Office of Insurance Regulation, and Orange County Consumer Protection Office.
