I went to the showroom and was shown a product buy salesman #1, a roll of roofing the right color and material in perfect, flawless, gorgeous color and shape. I paid for the amount of product to do my entire roofing project and had to wait for it to be delivered from CA. When I went to pick up the product, it was total garbage, as in complete total garbage. The rolls looked like melted tootsie-rolls and were more square than round. I peeled off the shrink wrap that was disguising this bundle and there were stickers all over each of the rolls saying "Second Quality, not responsible for faults"......WTF? Since they charge 3% for using a credit card and I had the 500 bucks in my pocket, I paid cash the week before. The receipt I had was like you would get out of any generic cash register and some illegible scribble on it that was supposed to imply that I had paid but did not pick up the merchandise. That pissed me off because I was definitely giving them 500 bucks and they were definitely not giving me anything but a tiny cash register receipt with scribble on it. Back to picking up the order... I expressed my disapproval for the product they wanted to load on my truck, and I went into the office to get my money back, and this is when I met salesman #2 and he says to me "Oh, I don't know if we took in that much cash today", meaning I might not be able to get my cash back after they tried to rip me off showing me one product but trying to load an entirely different garbage product into my truck, which is classic bait and switch. Fortunately they did have enough cash in the register. Both guys were nice, but that also is what they said about Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy. read more
