Code Red was hired to replace our roof and decking. The job was not supervised properly. They left our roof exposed to the weather between days it took to complete the job. Because if this we had leaks throughout our home. We were out of town during the process but we trusted when Tommy Kilcourse when he said he would personally oversee our project since we would be out of town. Just 2-3 days after completion of job, we had a friend check our mail. She screamed when she went in our home and saw the damage caused by Code Red Roofers. I immediately contacted them by email. It was on a Sunday and on Monday Tommy reached out. We made arrangements for him to get into the house at his earliest time. That was Wednesday. The apparent damage at the time he reviewed and agreed to repair. it took him another week to get someone there. Tommy had assured us that he would have the house checked for mold and cleaned. Neither were done. Because if the delay in taking care of the problem it created worse damage. Was in the hospital with pneumonia during this time However they had access to the home at anytime they needed it. I received a text saying the house was back like it was before the damage. Since Code Red did not have a mold inspection or have the house cleaned we had to get bids to have it done. Tommy offered $200 to have it cleaned. We had a mold inspector come to the house and do an inspection. Attached are pictures of the initial damage and the mold that developed from neglecting the initial damage. We sent the 51 page report with pictures to Jared at Code Red and he is denying it was their fault. We had no mold in our home. There had been a leak months earlier in an area unrelated to their damage. The are was cleaned and repaired. The roof was old but was covered until the new roof was put on. Because of this our home is currently unlivable. My husband is an 80 year old disabled retired Veteran and we are having to stay at hotels and friends. The cost to remedy and repair the damage will be between $25,000-$40,000. Before you hire this company think twice. Actually don't The pictures attached are heart breaking. Our 100 year old home is not the same.

Thank all the members of your team from the office staff to the construction crews. The first part of this review is concerning a leak in the garage. Richard Allen came out the next day after we called and checked out the roof. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the repair and scheduled us for two days later. The job was done with great care to the rest of the roof and house. Now the roof doesn't leak any more. I didn't get a chance to rate that job before Milton came through. The day after Milton came through we called WCM to request a roof check for damage. We knew there were shingles missing. Richare Allen was at the house that afternoon to assess the damage and gave us a good quote for the rapairs. We were expecting them on Monday but they are here on Saturday fixing our issues.

There was a quick response as to when they can come out and inspect. I had a gut feeling when the female rep over the phone had asked how old my roof was that they were planning on trying to sell me a whole roof repair quote. But I gave them a chance and have them inspect and take a look. 2 men pulled up on the driveway and introduced themselves. I allowed them to go ahead and inspect. The inspection took awhile so I knew then they were inspecting the whole roof and not only the problem area I addressed only. When they were done with the inspection the sales manager I believe gave me a folder pamphlet with papers and quotas of 2 price point. He gave me a FULL ROOF REPAIR quote. And not a SPOT REPAIR that I anticipated. He mentioned having the insurance come up to cover costs and also perhaps deal with legal action if insurance do not want to cover. He then mentioned he knows a "legal" person to contact if I needed it. That part of the volunteered info in my opinion I knew I need to find another company to deal with my issue. When I asked him - If he can just fix the issue I need to have fixed he blew it off and had no answer. I knew then this company only deal and want FULL ROOF REPAIRS from customers if not they feel its a waste of time I guess. He stated to me he will email the pictures they took of my whole roof so I can show the insurance company. I NEVER received those photos up to this day. They probably perhaps do good roof work via reviews on here however I think they only deal with FULL ROOF REPAIRS and not partial or spot repairs. I got my roof repaired elsewhere.
