Honest, straightforward car repair company. I was recommended this from a friend. We will only be coming here from now on.

Ed Little Auto recently performed routine maintenance service on my automobile, at a quoted…read moremaintenance cost cheaper than Pep Boys, and, during an inspection, they concluded that my front and rear tires did not need replacing. Today, however, I was advised, by a different auto mechanic (i.e., Pep Boys) to replace the front tires of my FWD automobile, but not the rear tires of my automobile. Pep Boys declared my front tires as being "completely worn," indicating that immediate replacement would be necessary. After inspecting my car's tires and even getting a 3rd opinion on the matter of whether (or not) my front tires needed replacement, it became apparent that my front tires still had significant useful life left in them, which validates Ed Little Auto's assessment. Therefore, besides doing quality service work at great value to the customer, with competitive pricing, it should be clearly stated that Ed Little Auto engages in honorable, trustworthy business practices, as they insisted that I didn't yet need to pay for the replacement of my car's front tires, unlike Pep Boys: who tried to exploit me for more money for a service that my car did not need. A similar Ed Little Auto positive testimony applies to brake replacement: when Pep Boys previously told me that my car's brakes were "completely worn & needed replacing," Ed Little countered, saying that my brakes still had 45-60% of a useful life on them at that time in the past. Ed Little Auto's statement turned out to be true. Given the above, I would never advise getting any auto mechanic work done at any Pep Boys, ever. Both in my front tires situation and my front brakes situation, Ed Little Auto was correct in its omission of declaring front tires replacement (and omitting brakes replacement) in being necessary during communications to me, which saved me a lot of money. Had I taken the recommendations of Pep Boys, in both instances, I would have wasted money on services I didn't need.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. I brought my car in on October 6th 2025 for a…read morediagnostic knowing I needed an oil change and possibly had an oil leak. I paid $130 for what was supposed to be a full diagnostic.. a thorough report of issues found after inspection. Instead, I got a single vague paragraph on paper (quote 1) summarizing $2,000+ in repairs with no itemized breakdown. I asked for photos, and they showed me pictures of my engine filters (note you have to get pass air ducts for this). Later that day I requested an itemized quote and suddenly the total dropped by nearly $1,000. Some of the issues just disappeared from the quote. That was my first red flag. How does a "diagnosis" of the same car change that drastically within hours? What did I pay $130 for if not an accurate inspection and record of the car's condition? I decided to check things myself. I ordered my own cabin, engine, and oil filters online for around $35 total (they quoted $180). I replaced the cabin filter in five minutes. Then I went to replace the engine air filter and immediately saw two large tears in both air intake ducts ... the hoses that deliver air into the engine (pre-filter at least). But both were completely ripped. This was never mentioned in either diagnostic, quote 1 or 2 despite being obvious... I paid $130 for them to "inspect" my car, and they missed something anyone could see under the hood? That's not just sloppy... it's negligent. And since accessing the engine filter requires moving those ducts, they had to have seen it. So, recap: I paid $130 for a diagnostic that missed two gaping holes in the air intake ducts something front and center. If I hadn't checked, I'd still be driving with this glaring issue. It's hard not to wonder if I was brushed off because I'm a woman. Im not the type to take someone's word without checking. This felt either lazy or deliberately dishonest. Fast forward to October 11, I came back for what I assumed would be a simple oil change. I'd already paid $130 for the lacking diagnostic, I believe I was informed with my initial quote that would go towards other services. Nope. They charged another $160. But I didn't have the energy to argue and I was planning to bring up the ducts. No one mentioned them... not even when I asked if there were any other issues. So I walked outside opened the hood pointed at the ripped hose and asked "What's this, and why wasn't it in my diagnostic?" The man looks me dead in the eye and says, "Oh, that's not really a big deal... most people don't fix that." Excuse me? I paid for a diagnosis and someone decided this shouldn't be included. Make it make sense. After pressing, he admits it should be replaced... something I already knew since I'd ordered both ducts for $30 online. Then he gives me a verbal quote of $55. I ask him to print it (because I'm not doing he said she said). He writes it up adding "no labor charge" like he's doing me a favor. I already had both parts sitting in my car. When I got home, I realized the quote was for one side the one I'd pointed at. Both were torn. At this point, I've lost all trust in this location. They're not transparent, not thorough, and the way they handled my situation was insulting. I hoped I could trust them with my car, but instead I learned a hard lesson. I'll now personally verify every service I pay for. If you rely on shops for maintenance.. open your hood. Watch a few videos. Understand what's being done before paying the "convenience" premium. Many of these fixes are simple and inexpensive. TL;DR: - Paid $130 for a "diagnostic" that missed two huge air duct tears. - Received inconsistent quotes -- price dropped $1,000 after asking for details. - No transparency or accountability. - Dismissive attitude when confronted. - Trust broken. Would not return.

Anything that my car needs a ticket here. They are fast and efficient and very competitive pricing. I was told that it might be the water pump. I called around to get an estimate and Mo from Automed gave me a higher quote to repair my water pump. So because he was closer to my residence and convenient for me to drop off and also because he went down $300 on the quote, I left my car with Automed. He promised and gave me his word that his men will work on it and I should get my car no later than Thursday morning. Thursday came and went. I got no calls from Mo. I texted him and he finally responded telling me that it is not the water pump and that I needed new brake pads, radiator hose and supercharger belt. I asked him if he can just do the radiator hose. I didn't want to spend any more money unless it's absolutely necessary. He said ok and that my car will be ready on Friday. Friday came and went and no calls from Mo. Now I am stuck on the weekend with no car and they closed the shop on Sat. when it was supposed to be opened. Mo played me the sob story and told me the mechanic who worked on my car had passed away so I had to offer my condolences and not gripe about my car. Monday I called Automed and was told someone will call me. His mechanic called and told me I need a new thermostat and it will cost me an additional $1000!!! They were really taking advantage of me. I was not happy and I found out that they never took a look under the hood to find out what's wrong until Monday, it has been on their lot since last Wed. I told them to put my car back to the condition that I had brought it to them. I will pay for the radiator hose if they had put it in and that is all. I went to pick up my car on Tuesday evening, brought it home 4 blocks away. The next day as I was driving to work, the check engine light came on then the coolant light went on. I was too scared to drive it on the freeway so I turned around and took it to a trusted mechanic. They told me this Automed did not properly put my engine back. There were mismatch bolts, I was missing a clamp on one of the hose and a gasket. He took a look at Automed invoice to see what they had worked on but there were no manufactured numbers on the radiator hose that they replaced for him to verify if they even replace it. These guys at Automed are not legit. Mo is a good talker but he is not a man of his word. That is what I get for having a boy do a man's job. Automed cheated me and left my car is worse shape then before.
