Very friendly staff trying to create a nice atmosphere and succeeding at it. Unlike most of its competitors Superfit has these courses which you can attend w/o paying extra. Yeah, you heard right, you pay 18,50€ per moth and you get to attend all courses w/o restriction. Quite fancy, right? When it comes to hardware you'll find a great deal of cardio equipment, an extra section for women (the women's circuit), an ok variety of workout gear and hardware that should suit beginners as well as professionals. But speaking of professional, there could, at least for my taste, by a better selection of hardware for more extensive workouts. The only real bummer is, that you are looking vainly for an area where you can practice your squates and lunges as well as a more free to use space. But overall the mood is nice, the staff helpful, a great mix of people in various stages of training and the included courses range from yoga to the full body intensive workout. See you in the gym!

Wow! I have never seen such rude front desk people. I had my card, the e-mail sent for my…read moremembership approval and everything. But the front desk people refused to let me to gym and wanted to see the original receipt of my initial payment. After trying to reason with them for 10 minutes I still couldn't get anywhere. They refused let me talk to a manager, and insisted that I go and get back the receipt. At one point I asked them if they are believing that I might be faking my membership and might be lying. Instead of apologizing and trying to be nicer, they implied that this indeed might be the case. After a 15 minute walk I got back to my place and came back with the receipt. They didn't even apologize. I needed to literally tell them that they need to apologize and just after that I got back a dry: "Hey I am not an asshole. I am just following orders". And the worse part is this is not about the employees but the business culture. Some how they forgot who is paying their salaries and cared about servicing their own customers...

One small eccentricity to be prepared for: as part of keeping the place so clean with no staff, you are asked not to wear shoes you've worn on the street into the gym. Bring training shoes in your bag and change into them once you're inside.

The gym has all the necessary equipment, be it weight training (machine and free weights), cardio, or even boxing. Everything is kept in super clean and well-functioning state. I also really appreciated his tips around workouts here and there (and I know he also has personal training program as well). Also included is the protein shake you can get at the end of the workout, which I thought was a great plus especially for travelers like myself. More than anything, this is not one of those commercial gyms where they only care about taking your money or the equipment can be hit or miss. It felt like I was working out at a friend's place with a super nice gym. Overall, I can't recommend it enough for anyone whether local or visiting Berlin and Schöneberg area.

One-on-one Sessions on a reformer with Arianne can be private OR in a team of two. All of the scheduling is done through an online portal, (what is the deal with Germans wanting you to call to schedule an appointment...seriously) and are conducted in German or English. This was a godsend for me as I was not sure if I could manage enough German to get through an entire session on a reformer. Happily, Arianne is a California girl who can switch between the two languages seamlessly.
