It was nothing but God that sent me in my basement to see my boiler was flaming from underneath…read more Usually there's a glow but this was different the flames were coming outside of the boiler, the parts and chute was covered in soot. I immediately called the gas company and they came and shut off the gas line. It's the dead of the winter and now I have no heat. I didn't know where to begin. I checked the internet but nothing jumped out at me. I went on yelp and began reading reviews and I ran across Lawrence heating & air. I called spoke to a woman who was very pleasant and told me a tech could come out to assess the boiler to see if it was still usable. Joe came and he looked at it and said it it's a hazard. With all the rust and corrosion and not to mention whatever was on fire. He said it needed replacing. He talked to me about the options and stated I would get an email from the owner of my options. 30 mins later the email was there and everything was included. All the info I needed to know about the unit, specs, warranty, parts/tubing for replacement, price. It was a proposal. I reached out to Lawrence with my questions and he answered right away. I also stated my elderly dad lives with me and elderly need service as soon as possible. That was no problem. He sent me payment options as well. Once I accepted the proposal and date was locked in and they techs came the next day on time. Randy showed up first, then Joe & Chaly. They immediately put down floor draping and loaded all of the supplies , pipes , boiler, etc. They opened all the radiators starting at the top. All of them were pleasant and very Knowledgeable about their job. Any questions I asked Randy explained. They cleaned up behind themselves and made sure everything was put back in place. Once they were done Randy told me about my new unit and what was removed and put in. This company made the entire stressful event so much more easier, like a weight had been lifted. My house is warm and cozy thanks to everyone involved .. Great teamwork ! I would definitely recommend !!! Thank you so much to everyone that played a part in getting me back up in running !!

I just, 3 days ago, had a mini split system installed in my house. Been thinking about it for…read moreabout 3 yrs, talked to some contractors and then met with Alex from Joint Way and knew it was the time and person to do the job. From start to finish the process was professional, carefully explained, and so clean and neat, and so important to me was the cost. Alex and Herman did a beautiful job especially with the horrible weather. I believe Alex is an artist at what he does. Could not be happier.

After having Joint Way install a split system in my house, the only question I was left asking is…read morewhy I took so long to get it started. The short version of this review is that Alex and his team make things easy. They provided top quality service, at reasonable prices, and were done quickly! The slightly longer version is after several years of talking about getting a split system to replace the various window units I'd been using, I finally pulled the trigger this year. I had several contractors out to provide estimates. Right out of the gate, I appreciated Alex's approach. While the other contractors discussed various options with eyeball estimates, Alex actually took a few measurements to come up with ideas which could actually be implemented. As a result, he presented a few ideas on how to run things that others missed and (imo) offered the best end solution. Obviously pricing is going to be specific to the job at hand and a variety of other factors. In my case, I found the pricing to be very competitive while offering name brand and better equipment than others. A small deposit was required, which is fairly standard. When it came to installation, the team worked hard, quick, and clean. I got a 4 zone unit covering my Master bedroom, office, guest bedroom, and living room. They worked a slightly long first day to get all the physically installation done (along with all the loud work, so to speak). They came back for a half day to tie up the electrical, help me get the wifi setup, and wrap up. Regarding the electrical, in my case they needed to add a subpanel and when they noticed a few things not done quite right in my existing box, they made the necessary fixes/adjustments! The end result was top quality across the board. I'm comfortably sitting in the A/C as I type this review. Happy to provide Joint Way a 5-star review and have already recommended them to a few friends considering split systems. Hopefully this review and the accompanying few photos help your decision making process.

This was my first time using them and would recommend them to anyone. Alex the owner explained everything when i asked questions and follow up was also very good. He even liked my cat so he obviously has good taste! Pricing was competitive and everything went as planned. my only suggestion would be they obtain financing options as this is a very expensive replacement and difficult to come up with that money quickly. Alex said they're working on that which would be very good for their customers. Wasn't even sure they would service my neighborhood but they did so don't let that deter you from contacting them.

Cook's Heating and Cooling - exceptional service from a dynamic duo…read more There is something special about a family-run operation where the knowledge is passed down and the reputation really matters. It's clear the son is learning from the best, and the father has a wealth of experience that is hard to find these days. I recently had a new AO Smith water heater installed, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. This father-son team is the real deal. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they take immense pride in their work. They were punctual, protected my floors, and took the time to explain the features of the AO Smith unit. They were polite, fair on price, and clearly know their stuff. The installation itself is incredibly clean--the piping is level, the solder joints are perfect, and they left the utility room cleaner than they found it. If you want the job done right the first time, hire these men.

Had a horrible experience where and employee turned off my water heater by turning a valve and said…read morethe brand new machine was broken..... Only to pay a few hundred dollars for a technician to come over and undo his work... All they did was to turn a valve and hit a button. The original worker said he was untrained and they will not send him for training. Horrible, and never got back to me after that situation. Responding to the message, you said that i do not agree with the decision - which is true I do not believe I should have paid for the first technicians' incompetence, there was no reason to turn off the valve. Then when you go to the second technician who came in, all he did was to turn the valve and restart the machine. Logically speaking - if the water heater worked - then we ran out of oil - then the first tech came after filling up the oil - how would the valve have been turned? Because I know i did not touch it and that's exactly why i paid extra for that service. And I have seen with my very own two eyes the first tech turns the valve. Those are undeniable the true and accurate facts of this scenario.
