I called them and brought it up there--I live 25 miles or so from Ronan--and the store manager, Randy, came out and tried to get out of it, saying that I put it on them like they were the ones who screwed up. "You did screw it up! Fix my fucking mower!" Then he got mad and we yelled for a minute. Then he went in, and came back and he totally snapped in front of me and started jabbing his finger in my face. I was furious and said "gimme the goddamn blade" and he did, then he called the cops, saying I was stealing from him even though I had the labor receipt. I was so mad that I didn't even realize I had left the mower there. I called corporate and complained. Randy called and apologized and sent a guy out with my mower and he put my blade on. A couple days later I went to mow, and it was dead. The engine went putt putt and slowed down and died after 5 or 10 seconds. I made more complaints. These stores are all the same owner. I went to the Ace mower repair shop in Polson, another 20-ish miles. The guy fixed it, so he said, and he said he test-mowed for about 20 minutes. He then lied to me about cleaning the air filter. At least it was done... Now, today. 2 days after I took it in for what was supposed to be the last time, it is still the same putt putt die. I have never had this happen before. I am disgusted with this store and I recommend the Tru-Value across the street. The same owner owns the Ace stores in Kalispell, Ronan, Polson, and Missoula. It's a freaking s#1t show.

Most of the time there might be one (if you need two) of the same part in stock. And employees are not the experts they once were. I started calling ahead to see if a particular part was in stock. And the employee didn't want to walk back to the shelf to actually look for the part. Sad what this ace has become. But small town America it's one of our only choices.

They said they were on isle 14 where we had looked a couple of times and were unable to find them. I asked for assistance and they just looked at me and didn't offer to come help. There were no other customers waiting to be cashed out. We left and went to Ace in Kalispell and found all that we needed. The employees in this store did not greet us and were not helpful so will not be going back there.

well it's finally happened, after 7 years of going to Resource for those unique and hard to find…read moreitems, everything from screws, brackets, plumbing & electrical, lumber and an odd window now and then I'll never be back. For the last couple of years I went from bringing friends & family to the store, we all would have a blast btw, to coming in maybe once a month. The pricing has been increased to new in box amounts and it seems most of the help hate being there, without a Hi or thank yous. I wasn't looking for money out of the till, I wanted to return a few items I bought 2 days ago, there was a very good chance I was going to use that refund to get other items. Instead the store refused the $20 return and in so doing lost out on $60 to $70 I would have spent and even worse, the thousands I would have spent over the next 10 years. Yes I said thousands, because that is what I have spent these past 7 years.
