    I booked an appointment for 3/19/25 for 10:00AM for a cleaning. I was sent a link to complete upon…read moremy arrival. I completed the link and when I arrived the time was 9:50am and I asked the front desk personnel how much would my cleaning be and informed her I didn't have insurance. She went to ask the office manager Kim, and returned and told me it would be $79. I was called to the back by a hygienist and she told me she had to take x rays and then proceeded to probe my gums and she showed me my x rays and we talked about some tarter build up and she informed me that I would need a deep cleaning. Which I wasn't shocked because I've had deep cleanings in the past. She then called Dr. White in and he looked over my x rays and did a probe of his own and agreed with a deep cleaning. Side bar: The hygienist was very thorough and detailed. No complaints with her at all. My problem arose after she told me I could have a seat in the front and wait on the office manager to book my follow up appointment. I asked her if I wasn't getting a cleaning today and she responded and told me no that I would require more time. I was confused but wanted to speak with the front office to see what my options were being that I scheduled and paid for a cleaning. I go back to the front and wait for about 25minutes and was called to the back. The office manager informed me that I wasn't getting a cleaning today and that I only paid for a comprehensive exam which initially is $360 but they were running a $79 special. I then asked her why wasn't I informed of this prior to paying for my "cleaning" and was told it must was a communication mishap. Then I went on to ask her how much will my deep cleaning be and she told me $1380. I am flabbergasted because I've never paid no more than $600 for a deep cleaning. At this point she became very condescending with her remarks. She didn't acknowledge the fact that I wasn't informed I was paying for a comprehensive exam and not a cleaning. I strongly feel that I should have been told upfront that I wasn't paying for a cleaning but for an exam. I've never scheduled a cleaning and left an office without some sort of cleaning. Even if they didn't have time for a deep cleaning, I honestly felt as though I should have been offered a basic cleaning or at least some floss or a toothbrush I feel scammed honestly. I'm willing to bet that I'm not the only person this has happened to. A better upfront clear communication strategy needs to be implemented with this establishment. I ended up being in the office for a total of 2 hours and left with a photo copy of my X-rays and no itemized receipt.

I made an appointment for Dr Whatley office, because I had been experiencing tooth pain, and I am a client there but had not been to them in a while. My Insurance Info was on file, but I had forgotten its a different insurance but same job. I received a text prior to appointment stating they canceled the appointment because of them not being able to verify my insurace-Instead of calling they sent text cancelling it. So I called and we got that straignt and I was seen in the office,. They took pics and the doctor i saw was not Dr Whatley but i spoke with them let them know that I hadd been taking motrin and it was no longer working. The dentist looked over the xray of my teeth and told me it was not infected and I could have it pulled or a root canal-I choose the root canal. They set it up and I left in pain even more so now because doing the xray has aggravated my tooth. I called back after taking tylenol as the dentist told me and after an hour called backed because of the pain. The young lady that answered the phone told me she would get back with me after talking with him and she did. Now she says the doctor will call me in some antibiotics because its infected. I told the young lady that the doc told me its wasnt. So they called in the prescription and I immediatey went and got it and started taking it-still hurting and not being able to go to work. I called the chat line and was chatting with someone-she took all my information and told me someone would call--They never did. So I called using their number and left a message as the answering machine stated that if it was an emergency they would get back with me. I had to go that weekend hurting really bad. It did evently stop but I had to endure pain that I should not have had to. I have been nursing for over 25 years and I know one of the first things you learn is not to judge others pain-if that is what they were doing, and I personally think they were. I did get a call this morning asking reason for call-so and reminding me about my root canal Wednesday. I cancelled my appointment and now looking into getting another dentist. I do not want anyone working on my teeth that do not have my best interest at heart or by a dentist that tells me i have no infection and then all of a sudden, I call and now It's an infection. I do not expect special privileges, but I do want a dentist that cares!!!! Going several days in pain is no joke.

But, the experience doesn't stop there! What a beautiful office! Everything is so clean and comfortable. Speaking of comfortable, they have a comfort menu! What?! They take customer service to an entirely different level! The doctors are both phenomenal, personable, kind, caring, and funny! The assistants are amazing and you can tell they truly care about you. I don't even know where to start with their amazing hygienists! They don't "just clean teeth" they are so much more! They are so knowledgeable and do everything they can to ensure you have the best experience. Make sure you look them up on Facebook too! They even have a menu Monday! Who doesn't need new recipe ideas?! I do! (And they are so yummy!) That's also where you can find out about their awesome contests and drawings!     Experience with office personnel and dentist and dental care (a deep Cleaning)…read more missing a tooth from an old Root canal. wow! they took me into this room with the financial manager..after my deep cleaning and tooth pulled for new teeth to be made. it was only ONE TOOTH! I am now saying teeth. She told me with my insurance and getting synchrony credit care involved I could pay them the balance of 3200.00! monthly payments. Well the tooth that was missing is now loose. the other two teeth I did not need! I pay 45.00 monthly toward the principal of my ridiculous bill. also they said I needed a deep cleaning. That Added 350.00. I have never felt so stupid and scammed in my life. I am retired age 66 and live on a small Social Security check. I do not know who to contact and what to do. Except pay it. Now I have to find another dentist to fix what they plainly half done. i feel like they stole from me! This is consumer theft! Anyway...watch the fast talking "money scam" they will make it sound like your getting a hell of a deal!!!! Until you walk out and realize i Only wanted and ask for the tooth to be extracted. They talked me into this crap to (Laugh Out Loud) save My tooth!?!?! unless you have money for the rich - find a "non corporate" " private" dentist Office. Teeth was (I thought) fixed for two months...then I realized I can't afford groceries to eat with my new three teeth! And now I need to get this fixed again. i Really am sick about the note I signed and what I let them talk me Into! Buyer beware!
