Huge, lovely vineyard creeping your way into napa valley territory located off kirkland road which also takes you to highway 12. Getting ready to walk our way thru the vineyard ( thankfully we only signed up for a good mile....) we were able to enjoy several different wines. In fact, I'm super surprised that I'm actually getting an FTR for this business, but I'll take it! We had approximately 45 in our group of yelployees and we all randomly split up into groups of six or seven. It was a wine making event and we were all given four types of wines and told to concoct our own blend. Malbec was my favorite by the way... The Cabernet Sauvignon was a close runner up. Each group came up with a team name and then nominated one person to sit on a panel of judges. The judges selected the best wine from the groups and the winning wine was then bottled and everyone was able to take a bottle home. How cool is that? Even cooler is the fact that my group won! Thank you Stephanie I, Paul R, Paul S, Vivek P, Laura N, and Zeva B for being such awesome team players. I had a blast drinking and concocting and winning with all of you! Our team name was "Tres" for the three wines we used in our winning blend and for the French meaning too. Plus, it just sounds sophisticated and cool, doesn't it?! (We came up with the team name after throwing out a bunch of other cool names including Sexy Juice, Grape Expectations, Burst, Happy Ending, and a handful of others.) Thank you, Total Adventures for working with us. I really do feel like I bonded with my fellow colleagues and I came home with an awesome bottle of wine to boot. As a matter of fact, I may just have to open that bottle this evening and relive the experience. I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a super fun, well-executed team-building activity for a group.

It was -- to use a Lettermanism -- 'info-tainment:' these guys specialize in staging wine blending…read moreevents for groups, and in a room full of wine drinkers, we had a ball (note: this might work with winos too, but I have a feeling that the results might be less discerning). As it was, things tend to unfold a little like this: each team (there ended up being seven or so groups) chose a team name, and was presented with four carafes or so of Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot, Malbec and one more (Cab Franc, I wanna say?). They laid down a few ground rules (you were required to specify a 'base wine' (my term) for each blend, sample each, and then ultimately choose one that would move on to the judging round at the culmination of the event. Our theory, right or wrong (and actually, if you're keeping score, it ended up being wrong, but oh well), was that we'd produce a blend that would be distinct enough on the palate that it would emerge from the pack. Apparently what that ended up meaning, of course, is that it ultimately wasn't particularly good, and save one first place vote(!), we finished next to last in voting. That said, the voting was almost an afterthought here, mostly because we were all engaged in the gentle craft of wine blending, and learned along the way what the rules re: blending are when calling a wine a wine of a certain type of vintage. It's a subtle science, perhaps, but Total Adventures served this one up just right: at room temperature, with just a hint of the bouquet of friendly competition. Cheers.

I was nervous to even join my friends into this activity, due to the fact that paintballs can hurt and leave bruises. But you know what, i said whatever let me just join and suffer!! We had about 14/15 people in our group playing, and we were helped by a guide who took us to our different "battle" areas. Let me say though, it is scary having to look over my shoulder in fear, as well as not knowing when the pain will come and go. My friends all definitely has fun running around, and hiding and just living out their COD dreams. The package they offer was really fair. We all opted for the $50-$70 package that gives you unlimited air pressure refill. We do need to pay for more paintballs, but onces shared with everyone the cost isnt bad. I

The games in team problem-solving to it's better than something like Food Bank, or bowling or go carts. A cooking class is a 2nd place to this event. We did a 11:30 - 2:30. Lunch at Craftworks with lunch from Costeaux French Bakery. Stacy explains the game rules. The team lead on each team downloads the app. The Awards Ceremony was great. Stacy gives out a ribbon medal to the winning team. Stacy shows all the photos from the app on a screen. The group was laughing so hard. The photos are available afterwards on Google Drive. You can't wrong with this event. Your co-workers will thank you for the most fun corporate outing.

From the friendly and…read morefunny zip guides, fun and exciting zips, and clean well-maintained hiking areas, to the fantastic hosts, unbelievably clean and well-maintained treehouses, and the gourmet quality food (perfectly cooked filet mignon). They had everything we needed... towels, washcloths, shower amenities. games, snacks, bug spray, plenty of water, feminine products, and the first aid items we ended up needing (for bug bite). We had a first few time zippers in our party, and the group, and at all times, my party felt SAFE! The guides make sure we were ALWAYS attached at all times (several straps) and followed the same process for each zipper, for each line. Also, my party appreciated the first "starter" lines to get us acclimated. For more experienced zippers, we loved the challenges (like touching trees and zipping sideways. This was worth every penny! I totally recommend tipping at the end in the gift shop if you feel so inclined.

Our group of six went on the 6:30pm After Hours tour. After signing waivers and choosing our Rydables, we had a safety brief before we were off on our one-hour adventure. Operating the Rydable was simple and a lot of fun with the group. We even stopped at a cute bar for some drinks and pictures.

This was a night time tour, so we were able to experience the booming nightlife of downtown and ride by some local hotspots. I have been to Napa several times during the day time, but the night time happenings is sooo much better. The animal scooters were so much fun! Picture a bunch of adults acting like kids in a playground lol. Our tour guide even let us race them against each other. An hour and a half worth of shenanigans from the beginning to the end. We returned to Sonoma in 2026 with a small group and booked another tour. Booking and communication was a breeze. Very good. Ends up the property I rented offered a wine passport and we were to receive a discount. I called to confirm and they let me know the driver would apply the discount when we paid him the day of the tour. All sounded wonderful and was very clearly communicated. The tour in 2026 only went to 3 wineries. Two were just ok and one was not good. I don't think anyone on our tour purchased anything here. The time at each winery was like a typical tasting with some information on their winery. But no real information on Sonoma and Napa and the history of the area. At the end our driver had no clue on our discount and kept telling me he would get in trouble for charging me less. He insinuated I was making it all up. In the end he did honor the discount but seemed he did it as a favor not that it was a program that Platypus participates in. All in all I was disappointed in this wine tour and would no go on a platypus tour again and would not recommend them. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day. Luckily all the people on our tour were delightful so that made for a nice day.

Came here for a company outing event. For groups of 10 or more, there is a discount. It's $45 per…read more10 minute race, and an additional $35 per 10 minutes after that. With the discount, our group got three races for $100/pp and $5/pp for helmets. Everyone was very nice and helpful. There are stands where you can sit and cheer on others. I recommend purchasing 2-3 races when you come. The first one is where you get used to the karts and track, the second and third one is where you'll truly get the hang of it and enjoy yourself. I was tired by the second round, but had a lot of fun! We will definitely be back. There are also tables and seats for you to rest at. The bathroom is a bit dirty as they are in a state park so I recommend to bring wipes. There was also a $5 charge to enter the state park per vehicle.
