They made an appointment for him the same day within the hour! I've never been able to get an appointment that quickly with my own dentist. They are true their claim that emergencies are seen the same day, even if you're not a regular patient. My dad ended up needing a root canal and he said Dr. Schmitt did a great job. He went back for a follow up in a week and Dr. Schmitt was very knowledgeable and able to answer all his questions. Highly recommended practice if you're in the market for a new dentist!

Every time I go in for a cleaning, we're all told we need our wisdom teeth extracted. I was told by a close family friend who use to be my dentist, but retired years ago to never trust a Dentist that told me I needed my wisdom teeth out if they're not causing me any problems. Not only for good advice for everyone, but myself specifically because my wisdom teeth are sideways inside my jaw bone, which would need major surgery and a waste. But every 6 months, like clockwork, they tell me I need all 4 out ASAP! The new office manager sits on his phone at the front desk and appears to be uninterested in life period. The new female Dentist could care less about what's going on with someone's mouth. The place has gone down dramatically the past two years. First red flag, they would not allow me to go back with my 5 year old very nervous daughter. I have always gone back with my kids and we have always had a great experience. After listening to my daughter cry while 3 of them worked to take her X-rays I couldn't sit in the waiting room any longer. My intention was to go back and help calm her down and support her. The hygienist stated we can't have you back here and stood between my daughter and I. She explained that it took 3 of them to do her X-rays. I told her that if you would have taken one minute to play with her and show her things this all could have been avoided. She then told me that we would need to reschedule when "I" have calmed down. I moved past her to my daughter and told her we wouldn't be back. Do Not bring children to this office! I now understand why they have so many available appointments. Such a disappointing experience for my daughter.

Avoid Dr. Jane if you value your time, money, and smile…read more I first saw Dr. Jane in 2018 to address TMJ issues, and she referred me to a specialist. I spent years with that specialist and returned to her in 2021 to complete my treatment, under the impression that it would only take two years. It's now nearly three years later, and I'm faced with two choices: switch to another orthodontist or live the rest of my life with a smile I'm not proud of and unresolved jaw issues. Dr. Jane has shown a complete lack of care and attention to my treatment. For almost a year, I've been told that I'm "just a few adjustments away" from being done. Ten months ago, conveniently after my payments we're over, was the first time she said it was about time to remove my braces. When I pointed out my misaligned teeth and remaining issues, she said we would make the adjustments as I "deserved a perfect smile" after all this time, yet she has done little to make it happen. The problems are blatantly obvious. My front teeth are nowhere near level, I still experience TMJ issues, and my molars are so far misaligned that I can lick the brackets on the outside of my teeth even when I'm completely biting down. When I brought my front teeth alignment issues to Dr. Janes attention she said she "doesn't see it" or dismisses my concerns and said she would "leave a note in my file". Other people notice my teeth are misaligned at a glance, yet Dr. Jane keeps telling me I'm "one appointment away" from being done. The best visit was after she misaligned my teeth so much that my bite was off and I could no longer bite without my jaw popping. Dr. Jane then got visually aggravated with me and told me that was impossible that happened and issues like that are only caused by trauma. The final straw was seeing pictures in her office of other patients with clear misalignment after their treatment. At that point I realized that I will never get the results im looking for with Dr. Jane. I've spent over $13,000 between Dr. Jane and the specialist she referred me to, only to hear from my new orthodontist that I'm still months away from completing my treatment. I asked for a partial refund as I know they spent time and materials on my treatment. Dr. Jane has refused to refund me any of my money even though her treatment has not been anywhere near satisfactory. Now I get to go spend another $6,000 due to her failure to align my teeth. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you're considering Dr. Jane, think twice before committing your time and hard-earned money to an orthodontist who seems incapable of prioritizing her patients' care or achieving satisfactory results.
