They made an appointment for him the same day within the hour! I've never been able to get an appointment that quickly with my own dentist. They are true their claim that emergencies are seen the same day, even if you're not a regular patient. My dad ended up needing a root canal and he said Dr. Schmitt did a great job. He went back for a follow up in a week and Dr. Schmitt was very knowledgeable and able to answer all his questions. Highly recommended practice if you're in the market for a new dentist!

There is a reason for this; I take to Dentists like the English take to, well...Dentists. Not to say I don't brush my teeth or otherwise participate in oral hygiene, I am just not a fan of the chair. That being said, it was time to get a check-up. To be honest, I chose this place because it was near my house, took my insurance, and opened early enough where I could work it in with my schedule. Here's my (dental) impressions: Receptionists: Friendly and competent. I am not looking to have a relationship with my dental receptionist like my bride does (she brought hers a wedding present). Folks here are engaging and professional. Assistant Hygeinist: Nice, professional, enagging, keeps things moving. Seems to handle the updates, prep, and basic things like x rays. Anyone who gets a good rating from me at 7am is doing something well. Hygeinist: 5 stars for her, I really like her approach, mannerism and style. Seems to live the creed of the business. Too many times in my life I have had hygienists rake my gums and scrape a little too enthusiastically while telling me I wouldn't be bleeding if I flossed more regularly. I always want to reply "or if you took your Prozac or addressed your anger issues", but that's not a wise course of action when someone has sharp tools in your mouth. Anyway, she's awesome, easy to talk with, focused on getting you to where you need to be and keeping you there. Dentist: Havent seen the dentist yet, but haven't needed to. Office: Convenient hours, close parking, clean. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is updating the internal decor and posters from time to time. No reason to have Santa pictures up in February or posters for specials in April and May that appear to be left up from the previous year. No big deal, but it does speak to professional image and attention to detail. E-mail and text mesasage remindersa re a convenient service as well.

This is a late, but very much so earned review. I had braces as a teenager, and, like a lot of…read morepeople, failed to wear my retainers into adulthood or get my wisdom teeth pulled. This meant I ended up with crowding of my lower teeth and shifting upper teeth as an adult. I went to see Dr. Jane about six months before my wedding in 2012, and she recommended Invisalign express. I was excited with the prospect of having my straight smile back before my big day, so I signed up immediately. Everything at the office is digital and technologically advanced, and my experience with my initial consult and fitting was quick and painless. Throughout my six months of treatment the staff was pleasant and engaging, and Dr. Jane was thorough and thoughtful. At the end of my six months (a month before my wedding) I found out that I would need an additional four to six months of treatment. This was a let down, but I wasn't too upset because by this time my teeth were straight and I'm much better condition than they were when I first began my treatment. I ended up having to go in two days before my wedding to have those nodules removed and had to return after my honeymoon to have them put back on. Since finishing treatment I've been back for follow-up appointments and once to get my retainers replaced, and have had good experiences each time. The only thing that I can comment negatively on is the fact that my treatment was quoted as being for six months, but ended up being a year. my payment plan was for set up to cover the term of my treatment, six months, which meant I paid a significant sum monthly. At the end of my quoted six month treatment I was paid in full, but my treatment had to be extended another six months. If there was a way to foresee my treatment being extended earlier the process it would have been nice to adjust my payment schedule.
