Typical gas station stop off the freeway with a convenience store and Amazon pickup for locals…read more Pumps and area very clean. Gas prices were excellent compared to bigger surrounding cities!

The owners son at here is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I personally have had now 3 bad…read moreinteractions with him, and have had moments where he's been very disrespectful and unprofessional with my son. My son is 15 years old and has only worked at Mobil for a little over 2 months. Since then both verbally and by text his boss has belittled, talked down to, and disrespected my son. My son walked in asking for a job and had gotten hired on the spot, with never going into full details on what's expected from my son or properly shown what is to be done and how to do it. So he's been doing his best. This past week our household has been hit with a nasty bug so my son hasn't been feeling well. I did discuss with my son that he should've called in at least 3hrs before his shift or even the day beforehand (when he was allowed to leave early for not feeling well) vs a bit more then an hr before his shift due to him sleeping and not feeling good, but this "man's" response was uncalled for. He an issue about it and was pretty much yelling at my son bc his boss now had to stay longer do what my son would've done and that the other guy who's been working there for a while and is an older man had to be by himself So although my son was sick he was still expected to come in to "at least do garbages" which he did do. He also came in on his day off to make up for missing a few hrs and was told to do what he could do with restocking and then garbages and was free to go home, all while still being unwell. Before his boss left for the night, my son had gone to the bathroom, now typically it takes him a few to go use the restroom but add on being sick it's gonna take you a bit longer, and he gets yelled at by this "man" because he was in there long enough to make the lights turn off. Then around 10:30pm last night my son gets a call telling him that he's fired because he's not doing his job right. Now, I have all the text messages between the two of how at first he wasn't doing that great, (which comes from not being trained on how to do things,) to doing a great job up until yesterday! I also have a recording from today when me and my son went in so my son could document his hrs for his last paycheck, and this guy has the nerve to tell me I'm a bad parent bc my son hasn't been feeling good and didn't apologize for not feeling well and "hasn't done a thing yesterday" When in fact my proof of texts says otherwise ‍
