A great idea, but in a bit of a tight spot…read more In general, the property for this facility is simply too small but its getting by. There are two driveways, but the paved pump areas are so small that its entirely possible to get parked in at the pumps. Then, there are the people that pull in and park at the pumps without getting gasoline as they run inside for smokes or snacks. Or vehicles that don't even belong on this tiny lot, such as full size school buses blocking the entire line of pumps. School bus companies have their own fueling systems. They shouldn't be blocking gas station pumps at this gas station or any other gas station. Inside this gas station is where they hit their home run. It's clean, tidy and well maintained. Cold sandwiches, fruit, groceries, beverages, ice cream, TV dinners and some automotive supplies. The staff is always polite and very professional.

stopped here because it's the closest station to friends I was visiting. This place is the WORST…read moregas station I've ever gone to !!! I have no problem with needing to pay before fueling up---hence I use a credit card. But you STILL have to go in--what the heck is that ??? Plus, I n a past visit--at nearly empty--after the station employee came out to help, I was told to just try another pump, because some of them don't always work. That was a year ago--did nothing ever get fixed?? Must be a miserable place to work--always a single employee and endlessly malfunctioning pumps (my friends, who live very nearby, won't even stop here, because apparently this has been going on for quite some time). Can't say much about their store--after attempting to get gas, all I want to do is leave. You'd think Stop N Go would want their locations to be at least functional--this one must have slipped under their radar.

This was my first visit to this Kwik Trip, I was on my way to a place in West Bend that only…read moreaccepts cash so I needed to make a pit stop at their ATM (Kwik Tip ATMs have no fee. If you're a true Cheesehead, you call this a TYME machine.) This store is remarkably large with a larger selection of hot foods and groceries than most KTs. There is a huge, walk-in beer cooler and a selection of wines near the TYME...er...ATM machines. Almost all KT stores are laid out with a similar floor plan, there are a few different floor plans depending on the footprint of the store and when it was built. Some are mirror images of one another, which I refer to as left hand stores and right hand stores, depending on which way you turn to approach the cash registers. When you go into the store, you'll get that feeling of Deja vu, which is exactly what the owners want you to feel. This store is newer so it uses the newer floor plan and it's left handed. Karuba Coffee, Dunkers, doughnuts, and hot foods are straight back. Rest rooms are on the far end, take a right at the cooler. Lottery forms are back there, too, for processing at the registers. The no-fee ATMs are to your right as you enter the store. Outside? You'll find Unleaded regular and premium, Unleaded 88, E-85, and winterized diesel #2 and a 24 hour car wash.

I have been a dedicated shopper there since they first opened, along with a nice small grocery…read morestore. Always hated going to the bigger grocery stores after work to pick up a few things that I knew would require me canvassing every corner of the store. I do feel bad about the other locally based gas stations just being blind-sided (Kwik Trip wasn't in our area even 4 years ago), but then pushing Hunt Brothers frozen pizza or an over priced crappy carwash with fun lighting isn't cool either.....With Kwik Trip, (as a grocery store), I could easily pick up all of my wanted basic groceries and even great steaks and produce within minutes and little effort. I've always been SUPER happy with the meat especially, and have gotten a few of my friends turned on to going to pick up the steaks, meat, produce regularly as well for the value, price, ease. However, tonight, I'd picked up what I thought a typical package of sirloin steak, (like I've now been doing since the place opened, and they were ALWAYS outstanding), but upon getting home, I discovered under the label, it was actually 3 small strips of "steak" (trimmings) which in themselves, required handtrimming to remove the excess fat and grizzly stuff. After being a HUGE fan of their burgers in the beginning, I stopped buying once they turned into "angus chips smothered in bun", bought the pizza, until all they served the "chicken carbanaro", bought the cheesy stuffed breadsticks until they raised the price and made them smaller, less cheese. Kwik Trip: People aren't stupid and won't be loyal to bait and switch and continue to buy your goods. There's an Aldiz nearby this location, can go there, and just a few miles further away for ethanol free gas that's less expensive than your premium grade.

#100/2022 Another Kwik Trip one I frequent because and I…read moreload heavy for East Tennessee or North Carolina out of horicon Wisconsin they do have a cat scale. This is one of the old truck stop that got torn down a few years back and was put in with the KT. The problem I find with this one is there's many other Kwik Trip travel centers now all over the place they are coming on strong and opening up many more which is really nice travel centers with laundry showers and more. This store tends to stay a little bit more dirty compared to other KwikTrips I'm afraid. A lot of times you come in the bathroom is a little unkempt and you have to flip the light letting them know time to attend to it. Some of the employees are not the most friendly they have a little attitude every now and then depending on who's working I have run into it with a manager assistant who works towards the evening shift, and their kitchen staff. Sometimes I ask for some fresh brewed coffee and they're like used to being the cut machine it's like you have the bag still I want a regular brewed one you're supposed to do it and you can see they're a little pissy because they start slamming stuff down like you're bothering them or something. And the kitchen staff sometimes tends to get really backed up and if you want something cook fresh which is something KT still does a lot but the problem is here they say it'll be quite an extended. Of time like if you want a grilled cheese or a slice of pizza especially made they'll make up some kind of excuse. But like I said the good news is if I just want to scale out grab a drink I can go down the road and there's probably between the Illinois state line and here north of Milwaukee five or six more now full travel centers. So maybe they'll get better on the ball and get on par with the other ones but like I said for me I do have to scale these heavy loads and this is the closest place to do it where I load at.

This is a brand-spanking new Kwik Trip as the company continues its relentless expansion program…read more (It opened just after Thanksgiving 2019.) It's conveniently located just off I-41 on Wisconsin 167 (Holy Hill Road) and just across the railroad tracks from one of my favorite restaurants. (See "Sawmill Inn" for more about that.) This is a nearly complete auto and truck plaza, there's no car wash but that's about all that's missing. It's a complete convenience store with sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks (after the Covid19 lockdown, anyway)and almost anything you could need in the coolers, freezers and food gondolas. Like all Kwik Trips, the bakery all comes from La Crosse and it's pretty good. If you happen to drive an 18-wheeler, there is a huge fueling station and certified scale. It's easy in and easy out with no silly roundabouts to come through, unless you're coming from the west. You'll find Diesel #2, Premium Diesel, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid. On a local note, this facility replaced an old "local choke and puke" truck stop that was under the sign of Skelly Oil Company. When Skelly stopped being a brand, it was rebadged as Mobil but the locals continued to call the place "Skelly's" right up until the day it was torn down to build this modern facility. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the locals call this new place Skelly's as old habits die hard. It's everything you've come to expect in a Kwik Trip and a whole lot more.
