An almost secret spot where you can taste the love of the food. We were looking for a spot that would grill the meat for us in a turkey sub and we found out Romeo's did. It's in the same plaza as Lime and Salt and it does not disappoint! Parking can be a little bit of a trouble if there are lots of people but there is quite a bit of parking in the back with just a little walk. We got the pizza and the turkey sub. The pizza is quite filling it seems a little expensive but it's well worth it. The crispy golden crust was delicious and the sandwich is customized to order. Service was excellent. We did come at lunch time so there was no wait and it was easy to be in and out quickly. There isn't much space to eat inside so if you have a larger party make sure you are doing take out. All in all we will definitely be back to try other flavors of the pizza and the delicious turkey sub! read more

I decided to take a chance on this place because I was really craving Detroit style pizza, which is rare in this area. I read the review about how good it was and figure I would try! I will start by saying that the pizza had potential but missed the mark. As someone who really likes Detroit style pizza, this option missed the mark. The dough didn't cook long enough. I like Romeo's Pizza a lot. This location is in a small, shopping center in Odenton, MD next to my dentist office. I've had their Buffalo Chicken Pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, as well as the traditional Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas. No complaints here. My husband and I were in Odenton with our children for gymnastics and looking for a place to pick up something really quick. He told me he wanted to get a pizza from this place. So I took a look at their menu and they had lots of options. We decided to get an XL cheese pizza, an order of mozzarella sticks and a chicken cheesesteak. I called it in when I was leaving gymnastics and was about 7 minutes away, they told me it would be 15 minutes. I was surprised because that seemed really fast for all that food. Well it ended up being closer to 20 minutes but we waited patiently. The chicken cheesesteak you can choose between American cheese or provolone. I think it was a little heavy on the seasoning on the chicken but it had a lot of flavor and was very good. We are the mozzarella sticks on the way home because we were hungry. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. The only complain on those was the sauce. The sauce was very thin and runny. You couldn't get anything to stick to the mozzarella sticks. All my husband said about the pizza was, "I really like this pizza." In his world, that's a huge compliment, because typically all he ever says is "its OK" and to him OK means he really likes something. read more

I've been going there for 10 plus years and the food has never disappointed me but the biggest reason why I'm giving two stars is because the younger staff that they have there are extremely rude to the point that its disrespect the moment I walk through the door. I understand ordering closer to close time as an another fellow retail employee its annoying (not the management that have been there for years they are so kind!) BUT that gives NO ONE the excuse to be outright rude to someone especially when you represent a business because no one wants to buy from somewhere where the employees are rude!! I have been ordering from Romeos for years. The food is okay and the delivery people are nice BUT orders are often wrong and food can take a long time to be delivered. My most recent order required three trips to my house before they got the order almost right. I am done with Romeos. Buyer beware UPDATE: Lowering my rating from two stars to one. I thought maybe if I picked up the food myself, I could get a correct order. Nope. Twice I went to Romeos and placed orders. Both times I was told it would be a 10 minute wait. Half an hour later or more I finally get my order only to get home and find out they screwed up the order AGAIN. UPDATE: I could have lived with the hour wait but NOT the cold cheeseburger sub. I've tried this place a few times. It's ok if you just don't know what you want to eat and just don't feel like going out. My last order was a buffalo chicken sub, fries with a side a gravy, and buffalo wings for the next day. My sandwich was almost good. The bread was great but there was just too much of it. One tiny pitiful chicken strip on a HUGE loaf of bread. It was disappointing. My fries were way over done and hard as a rock. Even dipped in the watery flavorless gravy. I had to add a ton of black pepper to make it edible. The wings were honestly the best part. Plenty of sauce and crispy well cooked wing. If I order from here again I'll stick to the wing menu. NoI just moved to town last week. Unfortunatly I work a lot. I have eaten here the last 3 out of 4 days. The Philly is very good. Plenty of meat, cheese, onion, peppers, etc. The pizza is good as well. I had a large pepperoni and sausage. Good amount ofbtoppings ans cheese. Sauce is tasty, but sweet. I prefer a herby sauce, but that is me. I love the french fries. Unfortunately, tonight i will echo some previous reviews. I ordered a lg cheese burger sub. And fries with old bay and gravy on the side. The fries were great as usual. The gravy was lumpy like it was not stired enough and formed that skin on top from sitting too long then ladles into a to go container. Not a fan of large chunks of gravy. The sandwich was actually really tasty. The issue i have is that ot has round burgers in long bun. All of the toppings where placed in the open sub roll, then the burgers bent in half and placed on top of the toppings. Every bite the burgers slipped out. Cut them in half and place the toppings on top or make your own burgers to fit your bun shape. My opinion. A hand made burger would be better. The first two meals where good, the third was good, but had issues. The place may have some consistency issues. I will give it another opportunity, just not now. read more

Last night I was craving pizza and rather than to go with our usual choice of Papa Johns, we decided to try out Romeos since it was our last night in Odenton before moving to Annapolis. We should have just stuck with Papa Johns. We were told to come by and pick up the food in fifteen to twenty minutes and even when we did wait seventeen before going, we were waiting an extra five just for the wings. The first thing my boyfriend commented as we were going back to the car was how light the food felt. After getting home and assessing the food we ordered (large cheese half pepperoni pizza, a small calzone, and ten wings) , the heaviest item of the bunch was probably the wings. From Romeos it took us maybe three minutes tops to get home. While my boyfriend ordered a small calzone, not only was it on the cold side it was twice as small as the one he had previously ordered from a place in Bel Air. Also, heads up if you don't like mushrooms- they're included. I had been hopeful for the wings but I didn't hold my breath and as I tasted the sauce which should have been mild, it was anything but. There seems to be a generic mild sauce a lot of places use and while they might add butter to make it seem mild, those with sensitive taste buds will find it to be hot on their lips and tongue like me. If you can't tolerate spice on any sort of level--stay away from mild and perhaps try just plain unsauced. And now for the pizza, the only thing I did eat. Upon opening the box my first impression is that it looked about five minutes overcooked. The cheese barely had any of it's original color left to it. Still, I didn't let that stop me. Upon picking up two slices I noticed they were extremely light. As in each slice couldn't have weighed barely anything and on top of it, it was only slightly warm. Popping them in the microwave for thirty seconds fixed them up enough to my liking until I started eating and realized the problem with the pizza and why it felt so light. Cardboard crust and lack of sauce. Ick. Still not completely edible so I chewed my way through the slices. My final word is that I'm glad I didn't taint any of my super favorite dishes like lasagna or chicken parmesan and I won't have to because I probably won't give Romeos a second try. read more

The food is always terrific with great customer service. Fast and friendly service. The pizza is good, subs are great. They have gyros too.

I'll start by saying I will NEVER eat here again nor will I patronize this place. The staff are rude and obviously ran by "kids". I ordered my family dinner after work from Romeos because this was one of our favorites spots for carryout. When my food was finally delivered after 30 min there were 3 things wrong with my order. One, our bag was missing the 2 order of fries. Two, my daughters wing meal was HARD. And lastly, everything was COLD not even warm, except the Buffalo wings. I kindly called the establish back and spoke to "the manager" and that is when everything went left. He accused me of lying about our whole order being cold then rudely hung up the phone. Not to mention I spent $53.00 on my dinner only to get treated like my dollar doesn't matter. This is unjust and unfair. I have NEVER experienced poor treatment from any fast food establishment EVER. Then again I'm always eating at 5 star establishments. Hopefully this review matters and the owner can make some adjustments regarding their staff because this was unacceptable. read more

Top-notch customer service. I ordered a pizza tonight and there was a delivery mix-up. I think it was a new driver. I got irritated and called the restaurant to complain. I really think complaints can go one of two ways. If the management is unresponsive or uncaring, the customer's irritation elevates. If the management responds politely and effectively, it can turn the (reasonable) customer's attitude around quickly. The first guy to answer the phone listened to me politely, and then put his manager (Allen) on the phone immediately. The manager handled the situation like a pro. The pizza is great, and even if it wasn't I'd probably order from them again simply because of their customer service.
