Great place to eat in Altus. Portions are very big, expect to take a box home, and prices were reasonable. Definitely would eat here again!

One of the Best Italian Spots I've Ever Been To! This place is phenomenal. The menu is huge, and honestly, it was hard to decide because everything sounded amazing. Our waitress, Andrea, was fantastic--super friendly and accommodating with my meal substitutions. I normally feel like a nuisance asking for substitutions but she was so nice about it. Give that girl a ~raise~ The homemade pasta? Next-level. I got the chicken parm with fettuccine, and WOW. SO good. Honestly, next time, I might just get a full order of fettuccine because the pasta was that good. Ambiance was perfect--great music that wasn't too loud, very clean, and had a fancy yet welcoming feel. The salad was kinda mid, but the ranch? BANGING. Also, great water (yes, that matters). Best part? It was only $50 for three people. For the quality of food, that's an insane deal. Do yourself a favor--skip Olive Garden and come here instead! read more

Stopped in here on a Saturday for lunch while passing through Altus. The space is very comfortable . The menu selection is plentiful and the service was top notch. I ordered the eggplant sub and it was very good, but I was a little surprised to find the eggplant to bread ratio to be a little off (leaning more toward the bread). The minestrone soup was excellent. I look forward to stopping here again when I'm in the area; I want to try out something on the dinner menu next time. read more

My family stopped into Roma's when visiting Altus recently. The restaurant was warm and inviting, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was a little slow because they seemed to be understaffed. The two waitresses were working fast and furious to keep up with everyone. There were so many choices on the menu, and there were many things that sounded good. We narrowed it down and tried the cheese bread for appetizer, salads, pepperoni roll, and the Roma classic combo (fettuccine alfredo, chicken parmesan, and lasagna). This gave us a chance to sample a few things. The combo was pretty large, so two people were able to share it. The best item for me was the chicken parmesan, but my daughter also really enjoyed her pepperoni roll. It was a nice lunch spot. read more

This is the nicest dining experience I have had in Altus. The place is super clean and comfortable. Our waitress, who we seem to get every time, was nice, accommodating, easy to work with. Everyone ordered something different and all were pleased. Wife got a simply huge portion of sautéed salmon in a tasty pesto sauce. I had the veal Marcell, light and tasty with sautéed mushrooms on a light wine sauce. A 5 on a 5 star system. 5 folks... 88 bucks plus tip. Sound reasonable? I thought so. read more

What can I say, cozy yet modern atmosphere and great Italian food for the buck. They bring out Garlic knots for the table and all Chicken entrées are served with a starter salad. Roma's is not dimly lit (which I like) so a good casual place for affordable Italian. I will be back to sample more of the menu. read more

We used to really like this place but its quickly going down a spiral. It's a place for people that don't actually know real Italian food. I ordered carbonara with prosciutto (which was stated on the menu) and it came with cut up ham lunch meat. The dish cost almost $20 so I was expecting what was advertised but instead disappointment. If they are taking shortcuts like this, what else are they doing? They might be serving canned sauce from the local grocer, haha. So I don't eat a ton of Italian, but for the most part it was always like Olive Garden. This is not that. It's actually GOOD food. It's real Italian food, the servers are always so sweet and the owner is really nice. Also, one time I went in and these guys were being asshats and spent a ton of money all while being super obnoxious during the whole time they were there and didn't leave any tip. So the owner called them out (as he should) and told them it's not okay for them to treat his servers that way. I applaud him for that. He kept profusely apologizing to me, but I told him I didn't care. They were being assholes and deserved it lol! read more

Tried this place now twice and both times really enjoyed the place. Went on a Saturday evening and on a Thursday evening. The outside is not much to look at but the inside is very nice looks like it was recently remodeled. The restaurant is clean and well lit. There is a mixture of tables and booths. They have a small bar and several TVs. When you enter they will seat you though on both occasions we were told to sit wherever, ok sure. Why the sign ? The waitresses greet you right after sitting to get your drink order. They have all been friendly and the manager, possibly could be the owner, also helps with the tables. The menu has quite a variety from pizza to pasta to different baked parmigiana dishes (eggplant, sausage etc). The waitresses are knowledgeable about the menu and are informative. I have had the sausage bake and the veal parmigiana. Both were served with a salad and a side of spaghetti. The salad is ok nothing spectacular. I think they could put a tomato or and olive on it, just a thought. All meals are served with garlic bread. To say garlic bread is a stretch. The garlic bread looks like pillsbury crescent rolls with garlic butter. The bread is not bad just don't expect baguette/Italian bread. Both the dishes I had were good. I did like the veal more it was tender and flavorful. The sausage bake was good but the sausage was bland. I was expecting a sweet sausage but no just sausage not a lot of flavor. I also tried the cannoli which was very good. I will definitely go back as there is more on the menu I'd like to try to include the pizza. read more

For Altus, this place is pretty good but inconsistent on certain things. For instance, the manicotti is my favorite and generally spot on, but the rolls are either very fresh or very old. There is no in-between. The tiramisu is good although it is not made in house. I'm thinking it is bought frozen. Service is usually great at night but lacking during the day, and sometimes you wait several minutes to even be greeted. The restaurant is always clean, including the restroom. For the small town that has virtually no other options for great food, Roma's is worth checking out. read more

For Italian food in Altus, Ok you can only expect so much, the pizza is good, the pasta is bad, and the chicken Marsala is just chicken with what looked to be brown gravy. For actual good Italian food try Milano's in Lawton. read more

Good experience over all, with the only downside being their "sampler platter"... Way too much breadcrumbs to egg ratio on their fried goods- ended up making many things taste dry. I came here for the first time and my friends and I enjoyed it very much! Since I can't have dairy I was wondering what I could have, the cook personally came out and and made sure he could do everything without butter and use olive oil instead. Stopped in for dinner with friends, while visiting Altus. I had the Chicken Franco. It was really good! The rolls were soft. Service was quick and friendly. Prices seemed fair. I'll definitely add this to my list for future visits. It is a small place so I could see where it might get crowded on a Friday or Saturday night. read more
