I am not ashamed to write a review on this store. I haven't been there in a very long time. God gave us body, mind, spirit, heart and we need to put it in good use. Actually put it on overdrive. Certain pleasures come with consequences. Sometimes with a little pain. Walked in few days ago just to browse and see what they had new. Store was in a very good condition, clean & nicely organized according to their items. Employees were in a much better condition. Ready to help. They have everything for anyones guilty pleasures and more. Selections with adult films, toys, lingerie, lubricants, condoms, lotions, creams, magazines and a whole lot more.. Everything has it's own label and price on it. Don't feel ashamed to be a little experimental and also graphic. Feel comfortable with who you are, what you are and live your best life. Every time I come here, there's always a wait, and I never arrive at the same time--morning, afternoon, or nighttime. I always end up with the guy on his lunch break for 40 minutes and this sign. It's been at least 8 times lol. Is it just my luck? Whenever I come here, it's always a wait. Or is this a constant issue since the employee seems very unprofessional during business hours? I hear the same complaints from others, and I agree with the reviews too. It seems like the employees are drug users who need frequent breaks. As I have posted, I try to visit local stores and shops and want to avoid buying online. Buying online may be cheaper but more expensive for climate change and for workers / union rights. Walmart and Amazon don't allow unions and track every sec and every step of their warehouse workers while barely paying and providing benefits. But when I buy an 8 oz container of Gun Oil lube for $65 at Romantix and Amazon is selling it for $23 ??? I feel like an idiot. I bought two @ Romantix and could have bought twice as much -- 32 oz for $150 less on Amazon.. WAS a long time customer of over 15 yrs.. My guess is their market are those that can afford those existing and new lux apts in their area of NoHo and local homeowners? I stopped by here on the way home to grab a Christmas gag gift for a friend. This was my first time in this store, I typically go to the store in Oxnard, Ventura county. I was just near this store when I thought I should grab the gift now, because I'd be to tired once I got closer to the one in my area and would probably postpone buying the gift until the next time I got into Oxnard and that could be way after Christmas. The young woman working the counter Devorah, said hello when I first walked in the door and offered to help me find what I was looking for. She was so friendly and personable and truly very helpful in finding the right gag gift for my friend. She took the time to find out what I needed and why I needed it. Then she proceeded to explain the different brands available in the store, pricing, quality and the ones she prefers and why. So, I could make an educated decision on the gift I wanted to buy. When I still couldn't figure out which one to buy, she broke it down even more and I eventually bought one of the items. Some customers came in while I was making decisions and she treated them with the upmost respect and courtesy. She then went on to explain in her friendly caring way, that she's really knowledgeable in men's items and if I had questions or wanted to know more about a specific item for my own needs, she could help me find the perfect fit. I don't normally get toys for myself when I go to an adult shop like Romantix, in the past I mostly bought movies and magazines. So, I had a lot of questions. She took the time to answer them all and offered some suggestions, as she did with the gag gift. I ended up buying one of the eggs (orange) and a sample size of a pleasure enhancing cream (Power) she suggested I might enjoy. She explained the cream could be intense and to start with a small pea size amount. I didn't feel anything and increased the amount and still nothing. So, I was in the neighborhood of the Romantix the following week and stopped in to get some suggestions on what I could do, buy another egg and see what other similar pleasures creams they may have or lubes. I was lucky she was working and she was surprised the cream didn't enlist a response. We talked for few minutes about Power, other lubes and I bought another egg. She suggested I up the amount I use and if need be the whole tube. I got home and found out I bought another orange egg. That bummed me out since I wanted to get a different egg for a new stimulant response. This time I used about a quarter size of the cream and it was really intense as she mentioned it would be. Now, I not only want a new egg, I want more of the Power cream when I get paid. I happened to be near the store the next night and stopped in to grab a different egg. She was working again, I explained she was correct on the intensity of the cream and I apparently wasn't using the correct amount. She was pleased the product was working for me and sold me another egg. I'll be back at the end of the month after I get paid. I'll stop in on my way home for more Power cream in a larger tube size. I'll probably grab another egg that she suggested was a good toy for manipulating and simulating of the genital area for a quick response. The other two eggs were quite wonderful. So It's definitely on my list of items to grab. The issues I had with this location, no public bathroom and it was smaller more condensed compared to the one I go to in Oxnard. Devorah, has been a friendly person with superb customer service. If you happen to be going to this store, try to come when she's working, because she'll take great care of you and all your needs. Typically when I go to an adult store, I usually feel creepy, uncomfortable and quiet. I didn't feel that way when conversing with Devorah, she made me feel relaxed and at ease in the store. read more

I can hit the gym, grab a shape up, hit up the smoke shop, grab some food all on the same strip without needing to drive. i was surprised at the variety of products the store carries but what makes this location even more special is is their staff. everyone is friendly, non judge mental, and knowledgeable. Where do I begin..... WORST customer service in all of North Hollywood after the USPS. Desiree the assistant manager is terrible! It's highly disappointing when you walk into a sex shop and are not greeted, but instead approached aggressively and asked "what do you want to buy" instead of "may I help you find what you're looking for?".... ummm HI for one! I had an issue that involved me needing to call the manager to see about possibly getting a store credit since I would not be able to give my gift to my friend. I was on the lookout for a pair of Pleaser boots to use for my pole dancing classes, so I called a few of the adult stores in the area. The person who answered the phone for this Romantix location was the most friendly and went out of their way to check what sizes they had available for me, so I decided to stop by. This store has its own dedicated parking lot in the back, which is awesome and rare to find in the NoHo Arts District. There's a decent amount of street parking too. The store itself has entrances both in the front and back. There's a large selection of items usually offered in adult stores, including lingerie and toys. I wasn't really looking for any of those items, but if that's what you're looking for, they've got a lot! They had a specific corner dedicated to shoes and I appreciate that they had reputable brands. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave me sizing advice. They also let me try the shoes on to make sure that I found a pair with the right fit. The boots I was eyeing were a little tricky to put on but they were patient with me, which I really appreciate.
