I am no stranger to this location. I have been going here for quite some time to get items needed. They have good selection of lingerie, lubed, toys, strap on's, shoes, and sex machines that's affordable. I love that the staff has product knowledge and offer great suggestions to you. I purchased a motor bunny sex machine (from the store on Lankershim) and there was a defect in the plug power plug. And being when I called to tell them about it they advised me the machine was discontinued and they didn't have any more in stock. They advised me the cowgirl sex machine was available at this location. So I went and purchased the cowgirl here. Can I just say this machine is premium quality it's better than a Sybian more comfortable and VERY powerful. I am so happy with this purchase. The manager also agreed if I take back the defective machine I would receive a store credit. Thank you to management for handling this so professionally and promptly. I am a dedicated loyal customer for life!! read more

Really love how there are brick and motor stores like these. I had to get some gag gifts. I love the mature gentleman, I think he's Vietnamese, guy. Super friendly and nice. Parking in the back. read more

Not loving the hours, 10:00 is too early to close for a store that was formerly open 24 hours before Covid. 11:00 or even midnight would be better. Ralph's never switched their hours back to 24/7 either, what's up with that, Covid is done and over. Besides that the place is great, nice employees and I'd give it five stars if they stayed open a little later. read more

Whenever I've gone in my fav employee to see there is Alma!! She makes me feel comfortable asking my questions about my purchases and gives good suggestions. Ty for always being so chill!! read more

This small boutique has some of the best products I have bought. Originally tried buying products online but these are a little more expensive but superior. Amazing staff. They were extremely accommodating and patient with me trying to figure out how to charge a product. Thank you. read more

I love this store and can browse for hours looking at all of the fascinating toys and lingerie and bachelorette party items. The guy who was worked there was very knowledgeable and was happy to discuss the products I had never seen before. Very entertaining way to spend a few minutes in Sherman Oaks!! Lol read more

Staff is great. Some of the shoppers are a little weird. Definitely go early in the day.

Really helpful staff. He was super nice and didn't make anything awkward and was very helpful and took the time to look for stuff! Thanks so much. Expensive tho..... but great selection and very clean and comfortable read more

Heather, Diana and Trinity gave me the best service! Helped me choose the best products that I needed. Will definitely come back and recommend my friends here. read more

Saw the reviews on yelp after getting a migraine from trying to find the right toys on Amazon. Why not right? It's right up the street. I don't remember the guys name but he was super helpful and let me see how strong the vibes were and recommended bondage tape vs the cuffs since I have small wrists . It's super affordable. I thought I was going to have to break the bank but that was not the case. Very satisfied with my purchase. So is the bf. will def be back ! Sidenote: parking was confusing. There is a little lot in the back but I parked next to the gas station and walked. read more

Visited the store the other day to add some life to my relationship. Never been a guy to come to these places so I'll be the first to admit I was wary. Gregor (Greg?) completely changed that for me. Super cool guy, knows what he's talking about, probably a master. Needless to say, me and my GF were both happy with my visit. I won't shop unless he's there next time. read more

I have been going to this store for quite some time now and I have to say their star employee is Greg. I think he also goes by GX. Everytime I come to the store he's always polite and extremely knowledgeable. He's helped me time and time again even when I was really embarrassed about shopping for specific things in the first place. If you're going to stop by, make sure you go to Greg for your questions. read more

I highly recommend this adult toy store. I went with my girlfriend into what could of been a uncomfortable situation. instead, we found ourselves laughing and enjoying the time at the store. We were able to find a lot of what we wanted on our own but when it seemed like we were confused, Marlene, the manager asked us if we needed any help. Not only did she show us everything we were looking for but we were very comfortable talking to her which is in our opinion, very important. Over all, when it comes to anything in this genre of store, we will certainly be returning here! read more

I had the oddest, yet funniest incident EVER here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER, EVER forget it (I hope). Ok. After House of Billiards, me and my two homies are driving around and stumble onto Le Sex Shoppe. We figured "hey! I can't think of anything else to do. let's check it out!" Well right when we parked, these two girls get out of the car in front of us and THEY ARE HOLDING A VENTRILOQUIST DUMMY. I was like WTF? Those things are scary man. I get out of the car, the girls come up to me (really cute, sweet, and laughing balls), and say hey!!!! Can you take a picture of us? They are hysterically running to the entrance door with this dummy in a tux and take a pic in front of the store. They they open the door to see the inside and you see the worker looking like "WTF?" They said that they are going around town to different spots and taking pictures at those places with the dummy. I guess that's what people like to do on their weekends in the Valley? I dunno. They were so silly and cute that when they asked me to take a photo with them, my two guy friends could not resist, took the picture, hit on them, and we went our marry way into the store. IF YOU SEE A PICTURE OF ME, TWO CUTE WHITE CHICKS, AND A DUMMY IN A TUX, PLEASE PM ME THE LINK. ;) As for the store, we had a great time in it. The girls had made me laugh so much that everything in the store looked hilarious as well! Walk around with a dildo, chase my friends around the store, etc etc etc. hahahaha. It's a typical adult shop, but after the dummy incident, it will always remain a memorable store to me. :) hahahahhahahahhahah. read more

I think they changed their name to Romantix Inc. At least thats what it says on my receipt. We were waiting for an after hours house party in the area. We wanted to kill time. So, I yelped and found Le Sex Shoppe in the Valley! hahaha... I needed to pick up a little small gift for someone. The place offers everything you can think of and use:) The staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely return! read more

What lousy Customer service. Wanted to check out but the cashier was "on a break" and I had to wait 15 minutes. Meantime, he was sitting at the front playing games on his iPhone, and couldn't get off his lazy butt to take money from paying customers, now a line with two customers waiting. He said he would be 'done with his break' at 8:00. When the clock in the front hit 8;00 I asked if he was ready and he said 'the system clock is still 7:59 and 30 seconds" and made me wait another 30 seconds. Piss poor attitude when someone wants to pay for merchandise. Julio should be ashamed of himself and management should do something about this egregious behavior. read more

DONT COME HERE!!!! Read my story!! So I thought I liked it here! I literally just put a check in saying I love it! Until I looked at my receipt and saw added stuff that I didn't get. I am having a birthday party so my hubby and I thought it would of been fun to put small $1 lubs and $1 condoms on my piñata . So I got a couple stuff total came up to $97 at first I thought it was the taxes. I came home it kept bugging me that I saw on my bag that there was NOT $97 worth of stuff. So I take my time to count everything on my receipt and what I got. So everything that me and hubby got she added one extra and added something else that was 19.99 I had no idea what that was. After everything we had in our bag and added the taxes. OUR TOTAL SHOULD OF BEEN $67!!!!!! Fucken scam! Ass hole! That is not okay to do that to people adding stuff.!!! Best believe they are going to hear of us very shortly! Not cool!! Listen to the reviews!!! DO NOT COME HERE!! read more

Had the greatest customer service form Marline shes the best very knowleageble and very friendly. Ill continue to shop here.

If you want to buy something naughty, no better place to head than Van Nuys, the porn capital. You can find several little spots just driving down Van Nuys Boulevard but I think this is the closest to Ventura or the 101. There is a back parking lot and a back entrance if you are shy. You will find everything from silly novelties for a bachlorette party to kinky S&M contraptions. You can't help but look because they are just so silly. What I like is that they normally have a female at the register so it's not creepy like when a guy is surveying your purchase. I went there with my man on Valentine's day for the fun of it and loved that there were other couples not just men lurking in the videos. Speaking of videos. I liked this place until I saw a video that was titled teenage brothel and I suddenly felt sick. That just isn't right and nobody should pretend, market or sell such a thing. It totally turned me off. read more

Right around the corner from 69 Adult Toy. this place had the MOST DVD i out of the 5-6 stores i visited while in LA. The DVDs are priced at a very reasonable price for new releases about $25-$35. and the bargain bins have some really great DVDs, i got 6 DVDs here for about $80; 2 were Low-Art 2 were from a quality lesbian production, 1 from Marc Dercel and 1 from Digital playground. They also had a good selection of intimate wear and toys. the shop was clean an organized. with friendly staffs. I would recommend this place if you are looking to find some good DVDs read more

Awesome store so many goodies definitely one of my favorite stores with great options thank you Romantix

Cool adult store. Great customer service. Limited but tastefully selected adult play garb, toys, and gifts; lingerie and hosiery, as well. Legit DVD selection and private booths for previewing DVD's. (Note: minus 1 star because UNLIKE other adult stores with DVD's, the viewing room policy at THIS Romantix location does NOT permit more than one person to viewing room!?) read more

This store is called "Romantix" by the way, that's what it states on the bag and the receipt. Came here on a whim one day... to pick up a few standard necessities. Small shop, parking in the back. Not a huge variety of what they have to offer. That's cool, just don't come here if you're looking for a myriad of options. I saw a lot of things that I had experience with and only a minimal selection of those items... like the unrealistic options that nobody could "fit" into.... I'm trying to be discreet here. I have coworkers on my friends list! For (a mild) example: The lubrication selection was slim. Though they carried my favourite brand, Kama Sutra, there was only the Honey Dust - not even any of the stimulating gels or lubes. :( Even still, I had fun poking around in here with my newb friend who had never explored an Adult Store. Too bad it wasn't a legit one though to provide the FULL experience! The girls at the counter were weeeeeird... ha ha ha! The one on duty sat behind the counter smacking her gum and didn't even ask if we needed help finding anything. Come on now! That's important in a sex shop! Sometimes people don't know what they're looking for but need advice! Not my case, but a little effort would have been appreciated. Then this other larger woman came in with a bad dye job and pigtails and obnoxious 90's piercings... She was flipping through a People Magazine and drinking a litera'cola... She began to talk about getting tattooed. Didn't really get a reaction from her coworker... so she talked MORE about it. Being that my friend and I are both pretty obviously tattooed, I feel like she was just trying to get a reaction... LAME ! I hate when people do this! Then abhorrently proceeded to (attempt to) brag about how when she "gets body modification, like everything else, she does it two at once" OH GHAD shut your mouth already! But they were nice. Meant no harm. This store is whatever, I'll try somewhere else next time. read more

For all your essential needs they require adult supervision to fulfill your fantasy. Been here as its walking distance and a good place to buy some grown up goodies and perhaps a gag gift as well. In recent years, Romantix is seeking to make their store a more "couples friendly" shop even though they got those movie booths in another section of the store. Overall this store is good for what they have. read more

I am NOT a fan of this store location nor the company. Ive heard negative things about this store in the past but I still attempted to give it a chance and I highly regret that decision. I came in and felt immediately uncomfortable with the fact that a male was behind the counter. I know it sounds sexist, but as a woman, I do feel more comfortable and think I would get a better opinion on a toy from a female. Aside from that first look I noticed they have a lot of DVDs, which brought in some weird people that also made me feel weird. After noticing all that I also saw they have whats called an "arcade." A friend told me what it was for and I got grossed out! I personally dont want to go into a store, talk to a man about what type of toy is right for me and then see men going in and out of a place in the store in what is basically little booths to "jerk off in." Especially when they are carrying tissues. (sick) Pretty much, the place made me feel gross, uncomfortable and creeped out. No one really helped me and they had a small selection compared to the other shop up the street, which I later went to and had gotten help from a FEMALE employee. NEVER AGAIN am I going back to this store or this company! Yuck! read more

I tried the place that's highly visible on Ventura Blvd, 69 toys...Not a good choice. That being said, I moved my shopping needs down to Romantix and I was very happy to find that they had sooo much more to choose from as far as lingerie and little accessories like fuzzy handcuffs and games. I was really there for the clothes so I looked through everything. There was a lot I liked but I ultimately came out with two items. It was meant for one special night. I was very unsure of the one size fits all tag on the box, but I tried it on, (with undies on of course!) and was very pleased with it. Its a very sexy, lacey memento for him, and a great experience for us both. read more

I like the arcade here, but there's a creepy old Mexican security guard that walks around the arcade area. You can hear him walking around looking in the booths. read more

This place stink! i went in with my girl friend 2 days ago. I wanted to RUN, fast!!!. Small and over packed store. Some items look like they had been tampered with. No female around and in the 10 min we stayed there. Just horny mans are coming and looking at us as an object. No fun toy for us today. read more

Cheaper than most places I've been, and with a better selection. Run-ins with the staff are hit and miss... I've gotten the slant-eye from some old dude who works there, but I've also gotten great toy recommendations and free passes to strip clubs from other employees. Feels kinda sleazy since there are no windows, and I have no idea what's in the "arcade," but at least this place has never left me hanging. Whatever you're looking for, you can probably find it here. read more

I have gone here many times. They have a lot of things. The prices are fair.

Love this place. Frequent it often. Great selection of toys and lubes. Always feel comfortable shopping here. The arcade is nice and usually very clean. Lots of action but not always the type of action you want. Had some great times there though. Gloryhole in the last booth near the restrooms. Sometimes undesirables camp out there all day but otherwise it's a nice place to kill some time. read more

Horrible!!!! I bought a toy and it was used!!! What the hell??!!?!? And the nerve they had, they said I used it and didn't let me return it. Good thing I used an American Express and theyrefunded me the money. Dirty dirty dirty read more

I came here for a quick errand to buy a small butt plug. My issue was the security girl. Me and my boyfriend enter the store and the security girl was within 10-20 feet of us the whole time. I'm okay with that because I can imagine the loss prevention problems LA has, but then again its 2015....Y'all need to get some cameras up and allow us to breathe and be able to shop in a comfortable manner. I was merely browsing through the size small and extra small butt plug boxes to see which one was more suitable. Clearly they are not size on the box as they are in person. You clearly need to take a peek at the actual size to visually see if you can handle it or not. The security girl was not having it and I gladly complied. Its not like anyone would do something stupid with the security girl in their peripherals. In the end I ended up buying my size small butt plug as intended, but it was double the price of the same item as the same item at a sex shop a few miles away. As I left I said "Bye Felicia" to the security guard and I can almost guarantee she does not have a guard card license. This poor tragedy of a place was a mistake. We tried to have a good time playing with my butt plug but its hard to forget the history behind an item that you bought. I can guarantee every time I look at this butt plug I will be reminded of my horrible shopping experience, how overpriced it was, and how I made people laugh with my sad but true review. Go buy a toy you want elsewhere and be reminded of the beautiful journey that you had that led you to it. The good intentions of the owners who sold it to you make a world of difference in the amount of pleasure you will get out of it. It is safe to say my size small butt plug holds bad energy because of the place I bought it from. All my other butt plugs are beautiful, but this one is like the evil stepchild that I wish I could get rid of. read more

Just got off the phone with a man at the store. Was extremely rude and discourteous in response to a simple question about his inventory.

Love this place for lingerie! Very nice selection, good prices, and all sizes. Customer service is great. Love when Travis is there, he is so helpful!! He goes above and beyond to help me find everything I need . I left my credit card there and he held it for me until I could pick it. Been shopping here for 9 years and I'll continue to shop at this location. Parking in the back and very clean and well stocked inside. read more

The shop is small, but clean and organized with a decent inventory and a good selection of DVD. Nobody from the staff was pushy. I spent at least 15 minutes browsing and I didn't even notice the security guard until I was at the cash register. On the other hand nobody asked me if I needed any help. The guy at the register rang me up, but before leaving I checked in the bag and he forgot to get and put the DVD in the case. It turned out he didn't see the case and didn't charge me for the DVD. So OK, I told him I wanted the DVD. He got it and rang me up again, but this time he forgot to hand me my credit card back. I would have left without it if I hadn't double checked everything again. For this reason, only 4 stars. read more
