I ended up calling the 800 number and was told that since the strap broke they could swap it, then told I couldn't exchange it because it had been washed. They also told me some garbage about the life of a bra was only 90 days. Seriously? Because I know exactly zero women that wear a bra for 3 months and replace it. Soma's bras may actually only be good for 90 days because about a month later an identical bra (bought on the same day as the first one) broke in the exact same way. I have always had good experiences with Soma in the past, but I'm still in disbelief that they wouldn't stand by their products. I want to clearly state: I never received the item. Because there was no response and no visible shipment activity, I opened a dispute with my credit card company. Only then did the merchant respond to the card issuer, claiming shipment and delivery based on tracking history. But the USPS public tracking page shows "Tracking Not Available," and the shipment record appears inconsistent -- showing pre-shipment in October but USPS movement only starting around December 19. From a customer perspective, this is unacceptable: * Marked as shipped when USPS had not received the item * Tracking not working or unavailable to the customer * No response to my support email * Confusing and conflicting tracking history * No proactive communication * Item never delivered * I had to open a credit card dispute just to get attention Based on my experience, buyers should be extremely cautious. I did not receive my order, did not receive proper customer service, and did not receive transparent or accurate shipping information.
