On a recent trip work trip to Scottsbluff for my husband, we decided to grab a bite to eat at Roma before heading home. SPACE: Roma is located at the Western Nebraska Regional Airport, making it a great food destination for those seeking a quick bite before hitting the skies. The dining area is decked out for the holidays with a small village set up near/on the fireplace and twinkle lights throughout. They can easily host groups of any size. SIPS: While none of us chose to imbibe during our visit, they do offer up a list of wine and beer for those looking to take the edge off before their flights. SUSTENANCE: After a quick moment to browse the menu, my husband and I both opted for the meatball sub, while my father-in-law had the calzone. The portions were great. A little larger than we were seeking for lunchtime, but better than being too small. We found our meatball subs to be a bit on the dry side. I was eyeing my father-in-law's side of marinara for his calzone greedily. The meatballs were also quite dense, in my opinion, and lacking flavor. My father-in-law's calzone was a predetermined filling and appeared huge when it arrived. Upon digging in, he found it to be half air from baking. SERVICE: The servers were friendly throughout our visit and kept our glasses full. We arrived just after they opened and found ourselves waiting a bit for our check though the restaurant was fairly quiet. While Roma checked the boxes, it really didn't knock my socks off. I'd stop back by if I found myself in Scottsbluff again, but I wouldn't make a special trip of it.

Never disappoint, always consistent, had Pizza and Noti's special, the Best pizza ! And Noti's special is a MUST try pasta dish, mix between Alfredo & Marinara sauce with a little spice kick in it, delicious! Service was great as well, fast, attentive, welcoming.

Menu

Food was really good. Waiter was awesome. Nice quiet experience. The restaurant is actually in the airport, just in case you are unsure about it in the parking lot

Olive oil swimming with goodness!

Wonderful! A hidden gem. Stuck in Scotts Bluff Nebraska Airport for a few hours an had a wonderful meal. Noti, waiter and host was very friendly and helpful. Small Italian salad, not on the menu? No problem? Small bowl of pasta soup? Nitin the menu? No problem! Warm bread and olive oil. Not just olive oil, but also swimming with spices and goodness. Soup? Might be THE BEST of this type I've ever eaten. Baked pasta sampler? Wonderful. Sizzling hot. Savory. Good! On to wonderful dessert! Tiera missu! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Airport prices, but really a bargain to get a world class Italian meal!

This place is wonderful. The food is fantastic! It's definitely the best italian food in this area. I'd say it's the best italian food between Omaha and Denver. I had the Linguine Pescatore, a delicious dish of shrimp, scallops, baby clams and mussels over linguine topped with a sherry red sauce. It was sumptuous. My wife had the pasta sampler with lasagna, manicotti, and cheese ravioli. It was also delightful. Overall, I was very impressed with the simple recipes, the portion sizes, plate presentation, food textures, and especially the flavor. Our service was great. We were greeted at the entryway and did not wait long to be seated. We were sat and offered bread and dipping oil right away. Our water glasses and beverages were never more than half empty. Our server never hovered, but never forgot about us either. We were offered dessert and got a cannoli and a slice of cheesecake. The only thing that could improve is the location. The airport restaurants that were in this location before Roma didn't last long, despite the fact that the restaurants here had good food as well. I would like to see this restaurant move out of the airport and into town. Even if they stay at the airport, it's definitely worth driving a few extra minutes.

Chicken Alfredo

The atmosphere was elegant. The venue was spacious. The service was aaammmaaazzzziiiinnnggg!! The food was delicious!! Large quantities, but soooo worth it! Entrees are expensive but they are so flavorful and so worth it. I haven't had a decent Italian meal in this area in years and this spot was great!! And so close to home!! Keep up the great service and good luck on the liquor license!!

The three-quarter pound burgers were giant and truly delicious as were their onion rings... Crispy and greasy - just the way I like them. Nice selection of local WY beers. We tried two of them. The place is dimly lit and not much to write home about, but that's what we expect from a dive: we loved it! If you are pretentious &/or woke, go away: this is NOT YOUR place. This is a down-home, locals hangout with the coolest local patrons and an hysterical bartender (she was awesome). In fact the day that we came, she was talking about a TikTok warning that the US was going to be bombed by Iran and the locals sitting at the bar were giving her a hella hard time about it - we sort of joined the comedy show as "table number six" (which is how the bartender referred to us throughout our visit) as we laughed along with them, giving this good natured bartender a hard time about the TikTok news; bantering back and forth about how much time we have left before Lusk was bombed . We left in a really good mood and we can't wait to go back - presuming the building is still standing (after we left to get out of Dodge before the 5 1/2 hour timeline before the bomb dropped. LMAO)! Definitely gonna be one of our stops every time we're in Lusk! 5-star dive bar experience!

Arthur’s Pizza - XL (truly X-large) veggie pizza, half cheese, half no cheese with sauerkraut, was absolutely delicious!

(What man EVER wants tax season to come around again!? Lol!) For me, I still hate tax season, BUT am grateful for an amazing place to eat whenever we make the trek into Scottsbluff to visit our beloved CPA. Will definitely be back again (and again). Staff has been friendly every time we've been in and super accommodating (I can't eat cheese). Pizzas have been well topped with fresh ingredients, cheese on half. I chose Arthur's out of the lineup because of the ratings, and I'm glad I did. Pizzas are excellent. (Admittedly, atmosphere is in need of some TLC, but family friendly environment, nonetheless. Locals apparently love the owner, lots of folks are happy to offer a hearty "HELLO!" or "SEE YA LATER!" to him every time they come or go. That also says a lot!)

I ordered a Taco Pizza and a Four-Cheese pizza. Both were really good. Toppings are the difference makers here. Crust is standard nothing super buttery or seasoned. Delivery came fast as well. The main issue I had was when calling the service could be more approachable and helpful. I was put on hold right when I called and this wasn't done in a very nice tone. But it was fine I understand they get busy and in a rush. Secondly the prices seemed to be hard to find and not explained when I placed my order as I was never given a total. Turned out to be more than I wanted to spend on two medium pizzas. I hope to visit the actual restaurant soon to get the vibe and try other specialty pizzas they offer.

SEVERAL things went wrong on this trip…read more 1. It was freezing inside. I wore my heavy winter coat through the entire meal. There were a lot of carry out orders, so maybe this isn't an issue for most people, although every table was full by the time we left. 2. The waitress gave us the option of paying beforehand or after. We chose before but she had no idea how to split our check in half. We ended up pooling our cash and then split the change (not evenly). 3. After waiting approx. 45 minutes, the waitress comes over to tell us that they put our ticket in the wrong place and they just started making our pizza. She was apologetic and said she would speak to the manager and get us free food the next time we come in. 4. When our food finally came, the sides (mac n cheese and mozz sticks) were cold. Not like not steaming, I mean they were actually cold. The pizza was hot but tasted only okay. It seemed like they loaded it with cheese but had used minimal, if any, seasonings. Very bland. We went with the bacon cheeseburger pizza. 5. When we asked for to go boxes we also asked about that coupon for the free food next time. Same waitress looked at us like we were crazy and said that they don't have coupons like that, she just meant she'd have to speak to the manager. Apparently the hour while we waited for our food wasn't enough time for her to send a text or pick up a phone. Then she just stands there. After a long pause I asked if she wanted my phone number so that, when she had time to speak to a manager, someone could call me. She did take down my number, but it has officially been a week and I've received no call. I don't blame the manager for this; I'm sure they never got the message. 6. To top it all off, the food did not sit well with me and I made several trips to the restroom after I got home. Will NOT be going back.
