I went to drive thru to pay, and one side was closed, the other side didn't seem to be working. I was confused and a car came up behind me and the lady yelled out her window that it was broken and to just drive thru. I got to the entrance to the wash and she parked off to the side, obviously an employee. A dude in cut off jeans and a ciggarette hanging out his mouth, casually sprayed my car off a bit and sent me thru. HOW did they know what level wash I wanted? I dunno. My car and I were shot thru the wash and dry at record speed. When I got to the vacuums and got out, the entire backside of my car still had soap on it. They had no towels or anything to help with this. I was irritated, then another car pulled up next to me and his had the same thing. He happened to have his own towel, so I guess he is aware. I used the vacuum and actually used it to suck up as much soap and water off my car as I could. Then, drove away. I would have said one star, but since I didn't pay, I threw in an extra star :)

Man those vacuums really do suck!! (Pardon the pun )…read more But for real though, I visited this establishment yesterday. Let me say, the service menu is user friendly, and the variety services are reasonably priced. You even have the option to use a gift card or type in a promotional code. I have seen where one of the technicians will walk over, and help the driver navigate the menu on the screen, but the young man working must have been quite busy as I only saw one actually walk the lots and putting in work so I understood. Besides, contrary to my youngest son's opinion of my technological ineptitude, I can actually operate most modern day technology with ease - perhaps I will exhibit a few emotional outbursts, but I can get the job done while only slightly cursing like a Sailor. After your sudsy adventure through the self guided, cleaning tunnel, you are given the access to their specialized tools for more advanced detailing. This will ensure the inside of your vehicle is just as polished as the outside. Rest assured if the inside does not match the outside, you will eventually be found out! Excellence is an attainable standard. At Otto's they offers black, microfiber towels for the the drip drops and to knock the dust off if necessary. The hoses stretch and rotate well, and you are privy to different types of hose attachments. Depending on which direction you park; one attachment can be used for the larger, flat surfaces. The other attachment is great for the angles and the intricate details. Also made available is a machine you are able to put your floor mats through so as to rid the carpeting and fabric of the crumblies your ankle biters or fury critters may have deposited in the carpet,. The sand here on the Emerald Coast is unique and doesn't stick too badly if it's not wet, but of course sand tends to get in all the unmentionable crevices of your car so it's great to be able to be so thorough. In Fl, if you aren't careful the salt air and love bugs will do a number on a decent paint job. I was relieved to discover a bottle of cleaner which I'm assuming was window cleaner, I also used it to shine up my tires, clean the rims, and wipe off a few scuff marks. A friend helped purchase this set of tires, so I try to be mindful of their usefulness and what a generous blessing they have turned out being. I also used the spray to get a few residual bugs off the hood & grill. Keeping her clean and shiny helps me notice all the new door dings and scrapes she must have picked up without my knowledge. I couldn't imagine hitting someone's car & avoiding making them aware, but alas I discovered a few yesterday. Hopefully my insurance will help cover the few boo boos that have popped up on Stella unannounced. Take your time in the detailing area as the parking lot is well lit. For those of us with borderline obsessive compulsive type tendencies, paying attention to detail is a joy rather than a character flaw. It is good thing to commit yourself to whatever the task is at hand and work as unto the Lord. Besides, a little sweat, hard work, and elbow grease is good for my Soul. (Again - pardon the pun!) My Dad always told me, "if you have no pride in your ride - leave it outside!" Over the years I've revised my take away on the meaning behind that sentiment. Now, I look forward to taking care of my little Soul named Stella. We've been through a lot together in this past year as co-owner with my father. She has definitely been "rode hard and put up wet" so to speak, but Stella is special to me because my father helped me purchase her. Years ago I had a charismatic NCO from the beautiful state of AL teach me a few things as a new service member arriving to my first duty station in Germany about the fine art of vehicle cleanliness. Recently, my dad took the time to give me a few refresher tips in case all the years of motor pool Mondays didn't drill a long list of proper preventative care and maintenance steps into my head. The protocols aren't too much different for privately owned vehicles but the intentionality behind paying attention to detail is similar, and the motivation is changed a bit. Truthfully, my father has been instrumental in helping purchase 3 vehicles throughout my life, and I now see it as an honor to take care of the things I've been blessed with as they help support and take care of me. Thanks to Otto's for helping me keep Stella clean & serviceable! Oh and I accidentally ran off with one of your towels, but I assure you it was returned today.

I have written a previous review that details my first visit to the place, where they cleaned my wife's car. Please read it also for more details about my experience. I live down a dirt road, and commute a distance for school and work. As a result, the front of my truck becomes a big graveyard, buried under a thick pateen of dust. This goes on for the entire truck, as mud is caked on the sides due to a post-rain drive down my road, and regular road grime. In addition to this, my small herd of dogs sometimes ride in my truck, which ads a coat of dog hair to the interior of my truck. Also, I have a child who does not do a good job of keeping messes out of my cloth seats. With all of this going on with my truck, it can become quite a mess. I spend a lot of time in my truck commuting, so I like to have it clean. Enter the gentlemen here at S&K. These guys greeted me again upon coming in, greeting me by name, and welcoming me back. The job was like before, my truck as clean as it was when I received it from the dealership. They even polished my chrome running boards and toolbox, making them also shine like new. These guys work hard to please their customers and get customer service RIGHT. I will continue to bring my vehicles here in for detailing, and I'll keep recommending these guys to all my friends.

August 2024. Broken equipment brushes in the one lane auto car wash. I paid for a deluxe wash…read more While going thru I noted that the twirling brush that cleans car hood and trunk did not engage or work during wash. SUV hood was left dirty with leaf bits. I pointed this out to staff and requested that I be allowed to go thru wash again, presented my receipt, and did this within 1 day. Staff refused and insisted I pay to go thru again. I paid for a second wash, with same problem. Staff was advised. No refund was offered. No premium service provided. Since equipment to clean hood and trunk are not working, AVOID this business.

Big Five?Googoo car wash knowingly overcharged me $19.00 (rounded up) every month for six months, after they reduced their rates in January 2024. I did not know that the rate was reduced until I spoke with a carwash tech at the carwash six months later in June 2024. At my request the tech showed me the details of my account on the company's computer showing the six month period that I was intentionally overcharged.  I tried several times to resolve the matter with Big Five the owners of Googoo car wash via phone and email. I requested a credit for the previous six months, which I thought was a reasonable request, because I would be refunded due to their error, and I would continue being their customer. Take Five countered my offer saying that" they will given me credit for one month's car wash, and that they have no obligation to refund with they overcharged me. Take Five's perspective was it was my responsibility to change my billing plan. Which is absurd since I did not know there was a price reduction until six months later.  However, I have read other complaints on the BBB review site regarding Big Five from other consumers who experience my same situation and TakeFive issued them a refund after contacting the BBB. Currently Take Five/Googoo Car Wash has a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. Take Five according the the BBB has had "538 complaints closed in last 3 years 312 complaints closed in last 12 month." I filed a complaint with the State Of Alabama Attorney General's Office who contacted Take Five corporate office. According the the AG's office Take Five stoned walled them for several days initially denying that they had received a request for information from them and then they claimed that the had problems opening up the file that the AG sent them. In the end they said that posted signs at the car wash stating their price change however no such signs exists and I have taken pictures of the car wash to prove it. They actually have no prices pointed on their location the only listing of the prices is locate the touch pad screen when entering the car wash to purchase a single car wash or to purchase an ongoing membership. Please stay away from the unethical fraudulent car wash. To add insult to injury they are still trying to bill me for services after I told them to terminate my account. I use my cash app to pay miscellaneous bills and fund it accordingly.
