I come in to see my mother and Damon talking and my mother showed me their Instagram profile. After seeing his portfolio, I immediately booked a same day appointment for later on that evening because the work was impressive. I showed back up and he was very attentive to all the details I wanted, which was crucial for this piece. I got the Joestar birthmark tattoo from the Jojo's Bizzare Adventures manga. The actual tattooing was such a breeze and Damon's vibes during this process was perfection. I'm excited to say I found my new tattoo home and plan on coming back for more pieces soon.

Overall, my piece took about 2 hours to complete and was a dedication to my aunt for Mother's Day. Upon entry, I would've preferred a quicker and more friendly greeting. My friend who accompanied me received a piercing. The individual conducting piercings for the day was pleasant and well informed. He allowed for my friend to feel comfortable and ultimately have a smooth transaction. Her process took about 45 minutes with aftercare and preparation included. I might return for other work but was content with the outcome. I can agree with some other posts of pricing being a bit expensive depending on the artists and desired service.

But I made a plan to get it done while off from work for the holidays. And asked around to friends with tattoos for some local recommendations. I actually got a few people telling me to check out Legacy Irons in Greensboro, and when I reached out and they had open appointments, I made it happen! As an added incentive, my wife even got me a gift card to cover a portion of my new. I ended up booking an appointment with Jave, and from start to finish it was a great experience. He was great to work with, easy communication, very responsive and friendly, offering suggestions to my design, and guiding me in the right direction. During the tattoo Jave explained everything he was doing before, just so there'd be no surprises, and it went quickly and I'm happy with the end results! As far as the shop, it's conveniently located just off Elm street, right across from Little Brother and Natty Greens. The shops a bit small, and when they've got 4 artists doing tattoos at the same time, the space does get a bit crowded. But they make it work. There's a ton of fun and unique art all over the shop giving you plenty to look at and pass the time while getting work down. In addition to tattoos, they also have someone on staff who provides piercings. As I said, it was a great experience, and when I'm ready for another piece, I'm sure I'll head back to Legacy! 10 stars, Highly recommend!

If I wasn't looking up, I would've missed it. A couple other artists were with customers when I entered. I was directed to the front desk staff for check in and then paired with the artist and piercer, Bobby. He came to sit with me and chat about my idea. Making me feel welcome and relaxed in a new environment. They have a lounge area located in the rear of the shop and that is where we discussed my tattoo as he drew it out in his tablet. Afterwards he confirmed the piece would fit on my hand and directed me to his chair. Once seated at his station, he went over everything clearly, and showed me all of the tools he was opening and using. He cleaned throughout the process, from beginning to the end of service. The session was about half an hour or 2. Bobby and I chat throughout the process. He and a few of the other artists often engaged in conversation. I enjoyed the light feel of the place and the art displayed. I would return to Bobby for his work and possibly inquire about some of the other artists as well. I didn't require too much aftercare info, as I've a few tattoos but he still went over everything before I left and made sure I was happy.
