This was by far our best tattoo and experience. The venue was clean and comfortable. Really was surprised at the interior and how everything looked. Even the restrooms had a cool style to them. It was very upscale but with that artistic edge that you would expect in a tattoo parlor. My wife got a large thigh piece today, and we think it is super well done. What follows is her comments on the actual process... Drew Collins has a very light touch with the tattoo gun, it barely hurt. Can't say it didn't hurt at all. If you've had a tattoo before, you will know that there is a measure of pain involved, but this was by far the lightest touch of a tattoo that I have had. The lines are super clean and crisp, and I can't wait to go back for fill in shading in a month. The prices are exceptionally reasonable and the customer service is excellent! Have you ever wondered what makes someone get a tattoo? What about the pain and the lifelong commitment? I did. But then I wanted to memorialize my dog and I felt a tattoo would be a good way to do it. I scoured the internet for a quality shop. I asked people with tattoos for shop recommendations. I ended up finding Art Attack on my own. I liked the clever name, the look of the shop was clean, modern and not scary and they had mostly good reviews. The complaint reviews were handled well. I emailed them with a jillion questions. They suggested I come in, talk with them, look around and if I was still interested I could make an appointment. My husband, the most supportive man I've ever known, went with me. We went on Thursday, April Fool's Day. No, that wasn't lost on me but I chose to view it as ironic and funny. The shop was clean and decorated nicely. I especially liked the NO CHILDREN sign because who wants a screaming child startling your tattoo artist?! Kaylie came out and I explained what I was looking for and showed her my drawing. She was very sweet and told me she'd be happy to help and gave me the price of $80.00. She had an opening and I took it. I had no clue as to the process. She took my idea and made a computer drawing for me to review. I tweaked it a little, she revised it and I loved it, so she made a stencil. She took me back to her studio which was bright, airy and neatly organized. The tattoo needle head was hermetically sealed and she opened it in front of me. She explained what she would be doing then cleaned and shaved my arm then cleaned it again. She applied the stencil where I thought I wanted it. She told me to get up and look in the full length mirror to make sure. I decided to move it to the underside, center of my forearm. I asked her to start with the dot and the E (Dottie) just in case I couldn't take it. Honestly, I've had wasp stings that hurt worse so I told her to keep going and I'm so glad I did! She applied Saniderm tape and explained how to take care of it. I purchased their $10 care pack that included a small bottle of liquid soap (smelled like Dial), 6 packets of Aquaphor and a tiny bottle of Lubriderm lotion. I chose to use my own Provon soap that I ordered from Amazon. My tattoo never went thru a messy stage and there was no scabbing or itchiness. My only suggestion for Art Attack is for them to update their website to show their new aftercare guidelines and they do not sell After Inked products so I'm not sure why they are listed. My daughter had her nose pierced recently here. Today we had to go to another shop and have it taken out. The jewelry that was used was way too long and now she has to get it redone. She's incredibly upset about this and now I have to pay someone else to redo it. Very disappointing. No instructions were even given as far as aftercare or anything. It was very rushed. read more

Drew is phenomenal. We just clicked, which is important especially when getting your first tattoo. I had a discouraging tattoo artist consult with me from another tattoo shop, and I almost gave up on getting a tattoo. Then I messaged Art Attack, and immediately I heard back from Drew. He consulted with me the same day. He genuinely cares about his work and is incredibly skilled and good at his craft. Even when I was worried or freaked out with the details and struggled with letting go of my control issues, Drew went above and beyond and was patient, kind, and way fun to be around. DO NOT COME HERE! My friend came here to a piercing repierced after it hadn't healed correctly and they were incredibly rude to her. It's not that hard to be nice and convey general concern. The fact that they did not care about her healing at a place that makes permanent changes to your body is so disrespectful. They yelled at her when she expressed concern and it was such a bad experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A few years ago, I got my navel pierced from them. Very clean. I watched them open up new equipment from the packaging. When I was pale in the face, they made sure to wait until I was ready and they got me some M&M's. They put my well-being first. Also, the atmosphere was very peaceful and tranquil.
