I came in for an ear piercing with no appointment, and was immediately helped. They have great options of jewelry, and prices range from $40-$80. My piercer gave me a waiver to sign, and got a copy of my ID. We talked some about my Jewelry choices, and what I wanted in the future. We then went back to the room for the piercing. She helped me find the perfect spot to get the piercing, especially considering if I wanted different style jewelry in the future. I told her I don't do well with piercings, but I still wanted to get it done. She assured me it was okay, and explained to me that that is how my body responds to things of the sort. She walked me through everything, and then helped me out by fanning me and giving me water after it was all done. Everything is extremely sterile and clean, even the Q-Tips came prepackaged. The environment was very professional and everyone was very positive. I love my piercing and if I decide to get more, I'll definitely come here! They're awesome. read more

Damon was such a rockstar when it came to my experience. This interaction started when my mom saw a tattoo shop next to Lost Ark while my brothers were looking at the games. I come in to see my mother and Damon talking and my mother showed me their Instagram profile. After seeing his portfolio, I immediately booked a same day appointment for later on that evening because the work was impressive. I showed back up and he was very attentive to all the details I wanted, which was crucial for this piece. I got the Joestar birthmark tattoo from the Jojo's Bizzare Adventures manga. The actual tattooing was such a breeze and Damon's vibes during this process was perfection. I'm excited to say I found my new tattoo home and plan on coming back for more pieces soon. read more

The artist's name slips my mind however, the work I wanted to be done was drafted and tatted within the same day. Overall, my piece took about 2 hours to complete and was a dedication to my aunt for Mother's Day. Upon entry, I would've preferred a quicker and more friendly greeting. I was not acknowledged immediately, although staff members were standing within sight. I think there could be a better system for guests, especially new customers. My friend who accompanied me received a piercing. The individual conducting piercings for the day was pleasant and well informed. He allowed for my friend to feel comfortable and ultimately have a smooth transaction. Her process took about 45 minutes with aftercare and preparation included. I might return for other work but was content with the outcome. I can agree with some other posts of pricing being a bit expensive depending on the artists and desired service. read more

I got my nose pierced after years of wanting it done. Right now during my hours of wearing a mask daily due to work it was a perfect time to finally get one. I was happily greeted by one of the piercers, Q who gently and confidently explained the process to me. It was a breeze and I am very pleased with the entire process and most importantly the look. Nothing personal to the artist who did my tattoo I actually enjoyed my conversation with them and they seem like a very nice person. However, I felt like a lot of the piece was rushed and could have been done better had more time and effort been put into it. I The tattoo came out pretty well but there are some areas that are just sloppy and will need to be touched up. This was kind of disappointing as this was my first tattoo and seeing some of the artists previous work I feel like they were capable of more. read more

I do not remember who it was that pierced my cartilage but either way, she was awesome and I had a fun time doing it. As well, I learned some things like that I apparently have tough cartilage. The staff seem to know what they're doing and it put my mind at ease while I was there. It was a good time, would highly recommend. read more

Not saying there are low quality artists, but the customer service is terrible. Booked an appointment with an artist 3 weeks prior. Showed up and he had apparently moved shops, and they already had my 50 dollar deposit. Now they're saying they will try to get me together with an artists in ANOTHER 2-3 weeks. I doubt it though. Like what the fuck. 1 star for being unreliable as hell. read more

I called the shop the day prior to find out how much they charge for navel piercings, as I was surprising my little sister with a piercing for graduating. I was told that piercings start at $40, once we arrived to the location there was someone getting pierced and another waiting. The piercer was really quick, she took maybe 20-30 mins to do 4 piercings between the two of those people. Once it came time for my sister to get pierced, the person quoted her $115 for a piercing. Apparently they have two different people that have different price points which was not discussed to me. This get like a bait and switch situation which is not cool. The actual piercing was decent, it looked slightly crooked on my sisters belly. The reason we came here was because of the reviews but I can say this was not a good experience and I would not recommend anyone to spend anywhere near $100 for a navel piercing. They're overpriced. read more

My daughter and I both got awesome elephant tattoos from cee. They are perfect. He took a lot of time drawing and making/ changing the elephants to look the way we wanted. He was super patient. Wow!! I have gotten three piercings from Mackie at Seven Sagas in less than a year! The atmosphere is so welcoming and everyone there is very professional. Mackie is especially amazing and so friendly. She's such a nice, calming presence if you are nervous about your piercings. I have gone several times with my best friend to get pierced by her and we have ended up spending a lot of time talking to her whenever we were there. If you are looking for a piercing or a tattoo, this is your place! Clean, friendly, professional. read more

I went here to get a septum piercing about a month ago. I chose this location because they offer adonized titanium jewelry. My piercer was really nice and friendly, but the piercing hurt, like a lot. I'm pretty experienced with piercings so I have a good idea of what the pain level should be and it hurt way too much. 2 days later the captive ball fell out in my sleep. I was out of town so I had to go to a different shop to try to get it put back after I failed to do so. They told me that not only was the gauge WAY too big for a septum ring, but that the ring wasn't a captive ball ring at all. They told me they didnt know how it stayed put so long to begin with. They had to give me a whole new ring. After they put the new ring in the piercing immediately felt more comfortable. I wouldn't go here again. read more

This was my second time getting pierced by Mackie at Seven Sagas. She's the best in the triad, hands down. Their shop is the only one around that only stocks high quality jewelry, and her attention to detail and patience with getting placement perfect is second to none. I wouldn't let my friends go elsewhere! Definitely recommend to anyone who cares about their safety and quality of piercings. read more

This was my first tattoo since moving to North Carolina and I am thrilled that it only took seeing one artist to find my new go to tattoo artist! I saw Paula for a small coverup. The space on my arm was not much for her to work with and I didn't think she'd be able to pull it off without covering another tattoo I have super close to the one I wanted covered but man did she! I am super pleased with how GONE my old tattoo is and how RAD my new one is! Paula really took her time with it as well. Great experience! Mackie the piercer did and amazing job ! Went with a friend on a Saturday and asked a ton of questions, Mackie was knowledgeable, kind and took the time to explain everything to us. Fun, high quality jewelry selection. My piercing looks amazing, great placement, no pain or redness. I've gotten tattooed here as well and loved that too. Paula is the best!!! I have gotten two smallish tattoos with her and she does beautiful lettering and line work. My husband has gotten three larger pieces with her, and she is also great with color and shading. Everyone I interacted with either on the phone or in person was super nice and friendly. On the day I was scheduled to get my tattoo I called to see if they could pierce my ear where I thought it had grown over and Mackie was able to get it all fixed up with a better fitting hoop than I had before and on the spur of the moment I decided I wanted to change out my rook for something more noticeable and she did that as well. Then I went to get my tattoo done by Jess and I told her I was nervous since it was my first time and she took good care of me. She did a small line at first to show me how it felt before she started in on the rest of the tattoo which wasn't nearly as painful as I thought and she checked on me multiple times during the session to make sure I was still doing OK. They are very hygienic there which wasn't something I considered much before going because I was more concerned about getting my first tattoo but I was glad to see they take so many precautions to keep things sterile. Oh and to top it all off their prices are fair and reasonable and they tell you the prices up front so there are no surprises when you get to the register. read more

I was driving home to Durham and decided to stop by the shop and buy a new nose stud (Neometal) They have Neometal, Anatometal, BVLA and others. It was small, but a nice selection. I got a 1.5 cm bezel set CZ and they (I think it was Mackie) anodized it in shop. It was low-pressure and a nice atmosphere. I'll definitely go back. read more

Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled made the experience much more unpleasant than it needed to be. I ultimately decided to look for another tattoo artist who is more receptive to feedback and can communicate professionally with clients when concerns about their work are brought up. I believe clients should be able to respectfully express concerns about their tattoos without being met with hostility.

The shops a bit small, and when they've got 4 artists doing tattoos at the same time, the space does get a bit crowded. But they make it work. She charged me $70 for the piercing because I asked for the proper metal, titanium. Not only did she put the wrong jewelry in for my anatomy, she also pierced it incorrectly. I saw an actually certified piercer today, who told me that the piercing was done horribly and that I should take the jewelry out as soon as possible. I am extremely disappointed in this experience and would like my $70 (plus the tip I gave her) back, but I know I will not get that money. Please choose an actual professional over Vanessa.

She has her back turned when I walk in, shifts so I can see her profile, and then continues to ignore me. I gave her a solid 2 minutes, and then I walked back out the door. There had been someone sitting on the couch when I walked in, and they walked out about a minute after I did. If you want business, you need to put someone at the front of the shop that is friendly and welcoming, not someone cold and uninviting. Your receptionist is the face of your business and the first person your customers see.

At almost 60 years old, I received my first tattoo here. We were actually celebrating my granddaughters 18th, my daughters 40th and my 60th birthday and wanted a simple ASL tat with crooked pinkies. My family has a genetic history of all females born from females have crooked pinkies and since this was a milestone year for three of us, it seemed the right time to do it. Gene is amazing! He took our ideas and designed exactly what we wanted! My granddaughter wanted stars added to hers and since it was such a beautiful design, we all went with this choice. Two of our group also received piercings from Alex and they went great as well. While it might have been a little bit more expensive than somewhere else, you can't put a price on cleanliness and sterility. This place is top notch with both of those. I have been meaning to write a review regarding Mackie at Seven Sagas for a minute now (been rather busy), but that lady at Seven Sagas is the BEST! I mean she knows her stuff and I am so happy with the results of my nose piercing. I have gotten so many compliments and I immediately tell them to go to Mackie, she is awesome! I have to say Seven Sagas is a great place to go for any piercing or tattoo, I have 3 already and I want 2 more actually. I won't go anywhere else in Greensboro, NC (no offense to other parlors..) but I like the people there, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, everything! I got a tattoo I've been dreaming of getting for about a year now and I couldn't be happier! The shop itself is very clean and the waiver they have you fill out is very informative. Not to mention the paperwork they gave me just for the aftercare of the tattoo! My tattoo artist, Damon, did a wonderful job on my piece and was very helpful in answering any questions I had for my first tattoo! He was wonderful to chat with during the session, and had music playing throughout so there was no habging silence during. Would definitely get tattooed here again! read more

They have a reputation for being just a bunch of jerks and it shows. Tattoo artists are usually a different breed but these guys, man, a bunch of tool bags. Awful people. Good luck if you decide to get work done there. They may decide to help you out but more than likely you'll have to run around and beg to give them your money in exchange for mediocre art. It's a big happy family in there! It took me a moment to…read morewarm up since I stumbled in this location right after dinner at Natty's and a quick visit into the thrift store next door. If I wasn't looking up, I would've missed it. A couple other artists were with customers when I entered. I was directed to the front desk staff for check in and then paired with the artist and piercer, Bobby. He came to sit with me and chat about my idea. Making me feel welcome and relaxed in a new environment. They have a lounge area located in the rear of the shop and that is where we discussed my tattoo as he drew it out in his tablet. Afterwards he confirmed the piece would fit on my hand and directed me to his chair. Once seated at his station, he went over everything clearly, and showed me all of the tools he was opening and using. He cleaned throughout the process, from beginning to the end of service. The session was about half an hour or 2. Bobby and I chat throughout the process. He and a few of the other artists often engaged in conversation. I enjoyed the light feel of the place and the art displayed. I would return to Bobby for his work and possibly inquire about some of the other artists as well. I didn't require too much aftercare info, as I've a few tattoos but he still went over everything before I left and made sure I was happy.

My children got a first ear piercing and a fourth ear piercing. while I re-pierced my third ear hole and re-pierced my belly. She explained everything thoroughly. She was very, very very sterile. The area was very sterile and I really really appreciate that she took her time catering to my young baby. I will be returning to get a piece of art on my body.
