    At most lacrosse tournaments, the fields have snack bars that serve pedestrian hamburgers, hot dogs, or pizza. Instead, at Burt Aaronson Regional Park in Boca last weekend I was pleased to see Rolling Chefs, a food truck rated 5 stars on Yelp. From the reviews it looks like the menu at Rolling Chefs changes often. There were about six choices and with this crowd the Cheeseburgers sold out quickly. I was debating between the Ahi Tuna wrap and the Vegetarian Sweet Plantain Wrap but went with the vegetarian option. I am not usually a huge plantain fan but this wrap was a nice mix of flavors. The sweetness of the plantains was a nice juxtaposition against the salty queso fresco. The fresh seasonal greens added extra crunch. Overall, tasty, original sandwich. I would have preferred a side of tostones, but the sandwich came with a side of fries. The fries were hot but they could have used a bit more seasoning. Nice change from t Would definitely like to try more menu offerings from this food truck!

    I caught up to Rolling Chefs when they stopped by SaltWater Brewing in Delray Beach. Okay, the chicken quesadilla sandwich that I had was excellent. Very tasty, moist chicken, really nicely done. The chips with it were also very good. What I particularly liked was the professional "chef" demeanor and dress of the folks working the food truck. Very classy. The truck looked clean on the inside and especially so on the outside. That's great.

    Yum! It's been awhile since I've had food truck grub but tried Rolling Chefs outside of Funky Buddha during YSB15. Their rotating menu was super diverse on this particular day and featured some of my favorite foods. We naturally had to try a little bit of everything so let's get right to it: - Fried olives with blue cheese dipping sauce - I'm not a blue cheese fan so didn't try the sauce but just the fried olives alone were enough to tide me over! Definitely a fun bar snack. - BBQ pulled pork sandwich with guava BBQ sauce and vinegar cabbage slaw- Definitely hit the spot if you're looking for a tasty sandwich! - Mac & cheese empanada - Combining two of my favorite foods, this was seriously amazing. I could have ate four of them (and may have ate two). - Scotch egg- I've ALWAYS wanted to try a scotch egg so figured now was as good of a time as ever. It was really tasty and the egg was cooked perfectly, not too hard, not too soft. Obviously, I'm no expert but glad I finally gave this a try. We did have to wait awhile for our food but it's clear everything is prepared with quality in mind. Just grab a beer before walking outside of the brewery to sip on while you wait! I assure you it's well worth it. (P.S. You can scope Funky Buddha's website for the food truck calendar to see when they'll be there next!)

    Rolling Chefs food truck was at Mathews Brewery when I was there with a friend and we were starving. The bartender told us they were good and offered some suggestions. We ended up with two ahi tuna wraps and a side of fried cheese with guava dipping sauce. The order was ready super quick and the wraps were really tasty with a great amount of tuna. The fried cheese was served in little tater tot sized pieces which was great for sharing. I hope Rolling Chefs is there the next time we visit. They had several other things on their menu that sounded good.

    Brought my son to the Copper Point 3 year anniversary party. Great event.$5 beers,live music and 3 food trucks.After much deliberation,we decided on rolling chefs.I am sure we made the right choice.not that anyone was complaining about the other trucks.I ordered the loaded maduro.Basically pulled pork on top of plantains,but in no way was it basic.Great looking dish,even better tasting.It is their signature dish.My son had the chicken and rice,also with plantains,awesome.Hope the next time I hit a brewery ,Rolling Chefs rolls in.

    Really liked this food truck!!! If you see the "Chefs Rolling" eat there!! The food was simple but well thought out and prepared perfectly! We tried the quava bbq chicken skewers - delicious, bbq sauce was slightly sweet and when grilled kinda carmalized and just so finger licking good!! Also chicken was cooked perfect. I also tried the scotch egg, i have always wanted to try one just haven't had the chance yet. This is a hard boiled egg, wrapped in sausage then fried with a mustard sauce on top... Loved it! It was such a savory yummy treat! I would definitely eat at this truck again!

    We did the Critical Mass bike ride this past Friday, it as a longer route, 20 miles, so afterward we were hungry and thirsty. We pulled into the Wynwood Brewery to grab a beer, and the Rolling Chefs were set up in the parking lot. Score! There was no one in line to order and they had a decent menu posted in the window which also listed suggested beer pairings from Wynwood Brewing for each item. I ordered the Guava BBQ Chicken Skewers on Organic Seasonal Salad with Chipotle Vinaigrette. My buddy got the Coffee Crusted Ahi Tuna on Organic Seasonal Salad, also with Chipotle Vinaigrette. These selections were $10 each (Rolling Chefs do accept credit cards). After placing our orders we went inside to grab a beer and by the time we returned back outside, the Rolling Chefs staff were calling our names and handing us our food. There was no one else around save a few people placing orders, so we were able to sit our beers and food on the ledge below the side window and stand there to eat. After we were done the staff reached through the window to collect our spent containers, cutlery and napkins and dispose of them. In all, a good, fast meal at a fair price for what it was. The chicken skewers were tasty, but maybe a touch too spicy for my taste.

    This is one of my very favorite food trucks to run into at the breweries, as I've had them at Bangin Banjo quite a few times, as well as Salt Water Brewery up in Delray. The staff here is super friendly and always excited to serve their customers. I've ordered a few things here, and honestly some have not been so great (really not in love with their ceviche when I tried it); however, the blackened tuna wrap is one of my absolute favorite meals....five stars for that every time! They also offer a vegetarian plantain wrap..they get points from me for having something veggie and creative on the menu right off the bat...but if you'd really like a delicious upgrade, as to add the plantains to the tuna wrap. Sounds weird, but it's such a sweet and salty delcious bite, especially with the mayo/ketchup type sauce. The wrap is also served with as side of tostones, which again, go great dipped in the sauce. I've actually gone out of my way to hunt down Rolling Chefs when I'm craving their tuna wrap, so if you're lucky enough to run into them, definitely give them a try!

    One of the great pleasures in life is finding a mind-blowing good meal out of a food truck. There's a hesitation that comes with trying a new food truck. Rolling chefs happened to be outside Funky Buddha and we were hungry. I remember the decor of the truck is a little plain versus other food trucks that have gotten more creative or fun/vibrant with their signage. Thankfully this is one of those 'don't judge a book by its cover' things. We shared a few things from the menu: -Scotch egg: I've never had a scotch egg before and in all honesty I didn't know it was a thing. The description was intriguing though. Wiki tells me a scotch egg consists of a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat and baked or deep fried. Fairly accurate to what rolling chefs provided, except we were served more of a soft boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat and topped with a mustard caviar sauce. The egg was perfectly runny and that sauce on top was unique and we sopped as much of it up as possible. -Ahi tuna salad: I'll never truly understand why a good seafood dish is difficult to come by in SoFlo, but here they accomplished a mastered sear on the ahi which sat upon a bed of greens, red onion, and cherry tomatoes. This was a satisfying salad. -Guava chicken skewer: Guava should be mandatory on all chicken skewers now. Delicious flavor combination of sweet, salty, and tangy. The skewer was cooked with just the right amount of char. we debated about going back for seconds. If you see this truck, wave it down and eat here!

    I don't regret following this food truck online or in person! It has brought me closer to good food and even some great events. The loaded maduros are my favorite dish and I would recommend you start with that if you're new to the rolling chefs mix. I'm pretty sure there's a secret survey group because everything tastes award-winning and looks the part. If there is a taste group behind closed doors, this is me informally applying.

    I absolutely loved this food truck at the Funky Buddah Brewery event yesterday. It was my favorite. They had AMAZING mac-n-cheese empanadas fried in truffle oil served with a spicy sauce. It was incredible. I did not take a picture of it because I finished it all before I could. Too bad they are so far. I hope they come to some Miami Food Truck Events. In addition, I had the coffee crusted ahi tuna with organic salad and a chipotle dressing. The tuna was so fresh and flavorful. The chipotle dressing was a little salty for my taste but it did pair well with the tuna and salad. I loved that everything on their menu was $10. No guessing. Please come to MIAMI! The MIAMI yelpers loved you guys! ps. they have $3 taco specials on tuesdays and for lunch

    I can honestly say that these guys take great pride on their work! Not only is the food delicious but, it is fresh with a ton of creativity! If you have not had the opportunity, to taste their AMAZING Food; You're missing out!!!! Rolling Chefs are the real deal!!! I am picky & these guys deserve beyond 5 Stars!!!! Talk about Fresh Puerto Rican and Cuban Flavors that will blow your mind!

    This place was absolutely delicious! The Puerto rican Picadillo nachos and Mojo pork was gourmet level. Can't wait to eat this again!

    I had the Ahi Tuna Wrap. It was amazing! Lots of tuna in it. Loved the orange sauce with it too (mayoketchup, I think). Highly recommend!

By the time I arrived at the Margate Fall Festival the lines for all the food were really long. It was either eat at Pork O'Rican, wait in another line for over an hour, or be hungry. Pork O' Rican it is! According to Pork O' Rican this is their story "We are a Puerto Rican food truck who also provides catering for corporate events, parties, festivals and more. We have been cooking authentic Puerto Rican food for years and wanted to be able to share it with the community. Our famous signature dish is our roast pork. Amongst that are some of our top sellers including tostone platters, rice & bean platters, empanadas, alcapurria, and more. We just want to share the Puerto Rican culture and provide the community with the natural flavors of Puerto Rico. This is a family run food truck. Mom and Dad cooked, their daughter took orders, and they even put their young son to work. By the time we got to order they were out of the arroz con gondules, yellow rice and pigeon peas. Fortunately they still had the bacalaitos, codfish fritters which my friend really wanted and she also ordered the alcapurias. I chose the roast pork platter with rice hold the beans ($12). A water was an additional $2. I was pleased that they took both card and cash payments. I gave the plantains to my friend who enjoyed them. The roast pork portion was small, had really hard pieces, and was swimming in pork grease. Once I dislodged it from the grease and shredded it, and incorporated it into the rice it was okay and it did the job of abating my hunger. To be fair my friend really enjoyed her food and she is Puerto Rican so you should trust her opinion more than mine. This is one of those times I really wished Yelp had half stars. If I averaged our two opinions it would be a 3.5. After reading the owner's thoughtful and fair reply and other good reviews I would be open to trying them again when they aren't so busy.

Roll is like an amoroso or something, it's a hoagie type, I would have preferred it as a panini-style on Cuban bread or a round roll but I guess that's what they used today. Next time I won't get it with cheese, frankly next time I'll probably just get it as a plate with beans and rice. Pork itself is nice and tender. Came with tostones. They look good, left them for later. Empanadas are clearly homemade, they are a nice size. Got the beef picadillo ones, haven't touched them yet. I did, however, try their beef Alcapurria. This is a fast food dish unique to Puerto Rico, it is like a tamale but made of mashed plantains, filled with any number of things (this was beef picadillo) and then deep-fried. OMG. An empanada with a plantain crust. Some notes. They did not give me any condiments and didn't ask if I wanted any. Tostones really require Salsa Rosa (pink sauce) or some mojo. I, fortunately, had the ingredients to make it myself, it's ketchup mixed with mayo and usually some spicy vinegar. I would ask and make sure they give you something to dip in. They did take credit card payments and put it in my trunk while I waited so relatively contactless.
