They hustle to keep things moving after a busy football game. The poke was excellent! It's a bit expensive for most poke. However you get a mountain of food in your bowl. They have lots of protein and fresh ingredients to choose from...or you can get a standard bowl composition. I was amazed at the number of sauces they had. The bowl was excellent to taste! We also tried the fried gyoza. I really liked the fried wrapper...it had a slight crisp but not too crispy. The pork was moist and tender. The soy sauce mixture was a perfect bath to the gyoza. My wife ordered a bubble tea. You could smell the aroma for an hour while in the car. She said it was very fresh and outstanding. She was amused at how they made it, put it into the clear container and then applied a top. On the way out we had to get a couple mochido's. These are a very light donut with drizzled flavors. The donut is like a glazed donut hole that comes in a ring. The donut is very light, fresh to taste and airy. Our favorite drizzle was the marshmallow. It doesn't stop there when my husband went to have his bowl cooked the cook asked him if he had cleaned the grill well enough for hubby to feel safe! Two well-known and strangely well-regarded chain restaurants have poisoned my husband. Luckily on the first taste, he could feel something wasn't right so no ER visit was required. You walk through a series of gluten-free options starting with a base of greens, rice or noodles. (The noodles are made of sweet potato's.) then you select from a series of warm options, cold options and finish with a protein. Price is dependent on the protein selected. My server, Alan, walked me thru the options to build my custom bowl. The bowl is ready in less than a minute! I selected a lettuce base with chick pea curry, Brussels sprouts, a fabulous pickle onion, kimchi, carrots and topped the bowl off with Korean bbq made from beef brisket. The ingredients were flavorful with varied degrees of spicy heat. The spice levels were perfect for me without added sauce. The curry was tasty and the bbq was tender and juicy. I loved my bowl. I especially liked being able to select ingredients that fit my diet. The dining area has an upscale vibe with six long tables. There were fresh flowers on the tables, probably from last week's grand opening. The dining room is clean and tidy. The manager came over to my table to chat and see if everything was ok. On Monday's, they offer special pricing on Meatless bowls. There was a kid's menu, as well. If you sign up through their App you can get a free bowl and receive other offers (I opted out). We had to order at a kiosk, but we were happy to see that all of our old favorites were still on the menu. For appetizers, we ordered the steamed dumplings and the lettuce wraps. The amount of dumplings we received was perfect for our party of four, and there was more than enough chicken and lettuce for the lettuce wraps. One thing I loved about the wraps was that the lettuce was fresh and crispy, giving each bite a satisfying crunch. We ordered way too much food for dinner, but it was all delicious! I had the chicken fried rice, and since my favorite part is always the fried egg, I appreciated the abundance of fried egg in the dish. The rice was a little too overly-sauced, but it didn't taste sticky or gummy at all. My sister tried the honey sesame chicken for the first time, and she loved it. My mother had the pad Thai (which I forgot to take a picture of--whoops!), and she appreciated that she could choose her spice level and that the noodles were very flavorful.
