The DJ is handicapped and in a wheelchair and had one friend helping him load all the equipment in his van. When we got to the Willows we had to clean all the chairs and tables, had to sweep the floors, clean up burned sparklers and cigarette butts. The lighting outside worked about 25% and we had to clean out the refrigerator. Towards the end of the evening the groomsmen and bridesmaids started to clean up everything again and the Willows was spotless. Whitney called the manager and said they were done cleaning and needed their deposit back. The woman told Whitney, very rudely, that the DJ was not out by 12:00am so they will not get their deposit back. Whitney told her how dirty it was to begin with and the woman said I'm not in charge of that. Please post everywhere and the Willows homepage so other couples will not have to go through this. It was a very disappointing occurrence to a very wonderful occasion. So sorry for this rant but this should have never been a problem for Whitney and Rocky before they left for their honeymoon. Again thank you all for coming to Whitney (Kuhrt) Guzman and Rocky Guzman's life commitment of love.

Having events here is always a good time since there are options between chatting in the bar area, hanging outside by the water, playing cornhole on the grass area, etc. There are three bar areas, 2 in the main building and one towards the back where the grass area is. Drinks have always been well-made and service was always quick and friendly. Nothing to complain about there. I do wish that they had a bigger bathroom or more bathrooms. The one right by the main building is tiny (the men's bathroom has 1 stall and 2 urinals). They do have portable bathrooms there too but who wants to use those... I recommend checking this place out either on Wednesdays when it is open to the public or book it on any other day for a private event.

The door man wouldn't not even help a 72 yr old lady get her wheelchair bound husband up the step. Which I might add is a violation of ADA compliance federal laws. There was no ramp!! The doorman then asked to search my 3 x 5 inch wristlet ( purse) WHAT is the world could I smuggle in that? Then one of the grooms man had ordered a "set up" but couldn't carry it, I was 4 people back in line and told him I'd grab it. Got to the bar and the lady wouldn't let me take the set up. B/c I was not the one that paid for it. REALLY? It is a bucket of ICE!!! She acted as if I was taking a bucket of gold coins IT's ICE!!! I was not impressed with their customer service at all! Find new owners or managers; the current ones are so extra. The wedding was beautiful, intimate, and so very special to our family though.

The room was very spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and my husband appreciated the big TV. The shower had great hot water. The hotel itself is very nice, especially the lobby and bar area. Parking was easy and convenient as we're able to park right in the front entrance with no issues both nights being there, and the location is excellent. It's right across from Torchy's Tacos and next to Starbucks. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars were that the pool was smaller than I expected and there wasn't a hot tub/jacuzzi. Also, because of the hardwood floors, I could hear the guests upstairs walking. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable hotel in a great location, and I'd recommend it and I would stay again.

We were genuinely looking forward to dining here, but being completely overlooked ruined what should have been an enjoyable part of our staycation.
