Classic decor, a normal skating rink. Prices are good, but I'd still recommend bringing your own skates because theirs look like they're about to fall apart. Not the rollerblades though, those are fine. Huge skating rink with beautiful art, I also had wonderful talks with the staff and teachers there. Games and Hokey Pokey are also offered between skating sessions. Snack bar was also decent, pizza and pretzels are delicious. Lemonade is refreshing. Bathroom needs some work though, your average skating rink overall. Take that as a compliment. read more

Good place! Has a good selection of food, drinks, etc. Not too overpriced. Okay music selection. Kind and knowledgeable people on skating, they take care of beginners and keep an eye out for the kids. It's a great place for a kids party. Love it! Fun. Affordable. Not super crowded. Not super complex. Fun music, to-die-for decor. Just booked my son's birthday party there. My kids are obsessed, so looks like we're basically going to be become regulars. And, since their great-grandparents met at a roller rink, our family think it's pretty great, too. And ... LOL at all the 1-star reviews complaining about the owners enforcing a dress code. Put on some clothes if you want to come skating at their family-oriented venue...seems reasonable to me. Reserved for my son's birthday party of 20 people. I emailed back and forth with Lisa. She was helpful and was able to accommodate us even though it was last minute one day prior. We went on a Tuesday and wasn't too busy which was great since we had lots of kids and the skate floor wasn't crowded for some of our first time skaters. I was hesitant due to the previous reviews. The staff were friendly and courteous. The skate floor could use a renovation but not too bad. Would give 5 stars if it weren't for the price of pizzas. They're legit JACK's (of some sort) frozen pizza for 10$ each. It irks me the double to triple markup for frozen pizza considering what you can get for that price and any pizza chain. All in all, we were accommodated for 20 people with one day advance notice, staff was friendly, all kids had fun. We're of ethnic background also. read more

If you were a kid in the 1970s and 80s you know what a classic roller skating rink is like. Rollercade will blast you back in time! This is a great place to have kid's birthday parties. They rent all sorts of skates, both quads and inlines. There is always someone at the snack bar or by the skate rental area to assist you. The rink is very well cared for. They have all the fun lights, disco ball and DJ system with popular music to keep things lively. The decor is a total throwback to the roller disco era. The snack bar has all the fresh confections and hot dogs you can eat. The whole place is available for party rentals on Saturdays. There are numerous open skate nights as well. read more

Me and my boyfriend met here so we wanted to reminisce and go back only to be turned away at the door because I was "basically wearing a bra". I was wearing a crop top. She then told me in order to come in I would have to buy a tee shirt for 5$. We left and i immediately started crying. There are only a few places in St. Louis where you can roller skate indoors. Rollercade is the closest one to my house, so it's my rink of choice. When you read this review, keep in mind that I'm 29 and trying out for Roller Derby. What I'm looking for in a roller rink may differ from what you're looking for. Rollercade is a typical roller rink (from what I remember from my middle school days in FL) There's loud dance music, concessions, bright colors, and lots and lots of kids. If you're looking for anything more than just a casual skate, don't go on Saturdays... there are too many kids. I went on a Wednesday night and it was perfect. A mix of teens and adults, plus some people practicing figure skating, and by the time 8pm rolled around, most of the kids had left. I've never had an issue with the staff, but sometimes they can be a little ditzy. Most of them are great skaters and will check on you or your kids if you fall. Their skates are not the best, but what do you expect. They're made for casual skating and nothing more. The men's speed skate wheels are horribly worn and it seems like they only have one in each size. So it's really not worth spending the extra $3 to slide around on the floor in speed skates. Put it in a jar at home every time you go to Rollercade and save up for a pair of your own. To comment on Juan's review -- Yes, their floor is a little warped on one end, but it's easy to avoid and they actually sanded it down a few weeks ago. Overall it's not a bad roller rink and I continue to go there on a weekly basis. Of course, it's old and littered with little kids, but that's to be expected. read more

Staff is very rude. They are overly concerned with policing young girls wearing crop tops, yet their restroom is not private.

We had my daughters birthday party at Rollercade yesterday. The staff were very nice. Let me start with that!! Very friendly. However, their rules were so odd. They didn't have any PVC "walkers" to assist the little kiddos skate. I asked if parents could at least go out with their little kiddos to hold their hands and I was told no. This was aggravating for me since I do not skate and my 4 year old wanted to but cant unassisted. This was the same with a guest of ours. Two of our guest were also told no hats can be worn on in the rink either which I found very odd as well. Not that thats a big deal but still. The beginning of the day was very nerve racking but the kids did have fun and that is all that matters. Maybe be a little more flexible and help out the kiddos who dont yet skate well!!! read more

The Rollercade was a nice big skating rink with a small arcade next to it. The building was pretty big and it was about eight dollars per person (with skates). They offer roller skates, AND inline skates. There were some food options but it was mainly just a small snack bar. They played a nice selection of music and there seem to be many birthday parties happening all at once. They even played selections like the Mexican Hat Dance and the Hokey Pokey. The rink had a oval shaped wooden floor. The building was pretty crowded, and there are many people up in skating. All of the shoes appeared to be pretty old and weren't in the best condition, but that didn't matter much to us as we were just here for the fun of it. The employees were all nice and helpful, and this place was overall a nice rink for anyone- beginner or advanced! read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but the bathrooms in this place are honestly really awful. There is no privacy at all and the door on the stall is maybe 3.5-4ft high at best. Literally all someone needs to do is walk up to see if anyone's using the toilet and they will see completely see you. There is only one toilet and no door or lock in the entrance to the bathroom. The wood around the women's bathroom sink almost looked like it was rotting. The skating experience is good for the kids and they do fun little games but I would definitely avoid going to the bathroom here. read more

Fun place to have your kids birthday parties! For about $90 your child can have 12 friends skate for 2 hours. You provide the cake and Rollercade provides the drinks, plates and plastic utensils. The decor is nothing to get excited about but they have booths to sit in when you need a break and they have food and drinks when you need a snack. It's fun, fun, fun for the kiddos and less muss and fuss for the parents. read more

Personally I love rollercade I've gone when I was young and still go now as a teenager, I've read through some of the reviews and it's kinda sad, yes I will say the bathrooms are pretty low on privacy but honestly if you really need to go have a friend stand infront of the door also people talk a lot about it being outdated if you have really young kids go there I personally don't think it's the best due to the parents being picky but now as a teen I really enjoy the look it still goods like the great place I grow up learning at, the skates feel pretty nice actually I could tell they recently replaced a few and the fit pretty well but if you picky they are rental skates buy your know if you think there "bad" also I'm surprised by the LGBTQ hate I went there with my girlfriend and had no problems with staff, the staff where my age so maybe that's why there was no problem but I'm not sure but overall I really love the place just a nice places to hangout with your friends for a few hours read more

It was a pretty average skating experience. The bathroom stalls were way too short. You could entirely see the face of the person using the restroom. The drinking fountain was broken and we were very thirsty. I asked the workers at the concession stand if there was any free water but they said that water cups would be the same price as soda. The workers were very nice and apologetic about the circumstances. We spent a good hour and a half there and overall In glad we went. Plus it was cheaper than I expected! read more

Nobody should expect much in the way of quality from a roller rink, and this place is about average. The music is fine-- mainly pop music from past 5 years. The crowd is mostly middle school. The skates are in average quality. It's very cheap, and the concessions stand is reasonably priced. The BATHROOMS are TERRIBLE. No locks, just a plank of wood that hardly covers your lower or upper half. You think they would invest in changing that, especially because the crowd is mainly young girls and the random older man. However, the kids I bring here are usual happy. I think that they could play more games during free skate. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I was able to give it a lower rating than one star. My friends and I went here for a birthday party and almost immediately when we walked in the doors, we were called homophobic slurs. I, along with several of my friends, was harassed and mocked for having a pride flag. My friend had a pride flag in her hair that was ripped out by a person skating by and she was forced to take it off by an employee that was only targeting her, even when other people had things on their heads. We had several different people yell homophobic things at us. Many of my friends were repeatedly called homophobic and transphobic slurs right in front of staff and nothing was done about it, even when they were told what happened. I used to come here all the time with my family and friends and it was always fun. Now, it has gone way down hill and is no longer a safe space for LGBTQ+ people. Not to mention the fact that absolutely no social distancing or mask mandate rules were being followed. If you are considering going here, I strongly urge you not to. read more

Best place to skate in town. I have been going here since I was 5 years old. Tonight an older lady fell and broke her wrist. It was her sons party of all the days. The workers got to action! They called an ambulance, helped her and a lot more! They calmed the kid down and the mom is now going to the hospital. But anyway...they have an amazing staff and this is a great place to get a job for all the job hunting kids. I plan to work here when the time comes! read more

This rink is definitely geared for the kids. They host a lot of birthday parties and make it a fun and safe environment for the little ones. If you are a serious skater then this rink is probably not for you. In general, the skate guards will ask you to stop any sort of skating that is fast, not facing forwards or in any way risky. I don't blame them because the place is usually packed with inexperienced skaters but they will also say things to you even when the rink is mostly empty. They do usually have a song or two every session where backwards/jam/speed is allowed. The rental skates are not especially well maintained but if you get a problematic pair they will swap them for fix them for you. They repaired the floor or a year or so ago so the dips/waves are gone. Cash only for admission but they do have an ATM on site. The parking lot looks small from the front of the building but there is plenty of space around back. read more

I actually love Rollercade so much and have been going since I was in second grade. Practically my whole childhood is there from meeting girlfriends, birthday parties, and even my first kiss. The workers all know me and are the best people I have ever met. You grow up with some of them and they begin to feel like family. This place completely sucks! Please parents don't take your kids to this place. Let's start with the bathroom doors being like 3 feet by 3 feet making anyone to look over easily which is super uncomfortable and on top of that there is no locks. Second their roller skates have no support to your ankles whatsoever and their wheels just sucked to the maxed. I spent 15 minutes there and we left of course cash only so no return. The rental skates were worn out ten years ago. The rules posted are not enforced - shoes stored in booths; food and drink taken past sign; too many tweens and young teens run wild cussing and doing cartwheels making it dangerous. Too many don't even wear skates; they're there to make mischief. The snack bar and seating areas are unclean looking. There's a County cop there, too, but I guess he's waiting for a rumble or guns or whatever; not his rules to enforce I guess. It's totally unacceptable. By contrast, the Arnold rink is completely opposite. We now drive 15 minutes to Arnold rather than two blocks to Rollercade. read more

My Grandkids have been to many Birthday parties at Concord Roller Rink and both have had a Birthday party there. It's a wonderful place for a party for your kids. The kids have a great time and they have a nice package. I go rollerblading with my Grandchildren and enjoy the exercise. Great place... You do need to stay with your kids. I recommend. read more
