Rolls are pretty affordable here. So if you are particularly hungry, you can order many rolls at a decent price point. I thought the food itself was okay. A lot of the rolls use fake crab meat and a lot of extra sauce. I'm also not a huge fan of fake crab meat. They provide $3, $6, and $10 rolls which are great options for people ballin' on a budget. My friend literally only spent $9 for 2 rolls and I, on the other hand spent around $25 lol. I don't recommend the $3 rolls because they aren't really filling if you're a fatty like me. For the $6 rolls, I absolutely loved the Albacore Lover. There aren't too many albacore rolls I saw on the menu so I suggest ordering it. For the $10 specialty rolls, I highly recommend the Super Bake Salmon and Fire Cracker. My only dislike was the sloppiness of the rolls. I know it was busy and the chefs were cranking them out like crazy but it was a bit of a mess to eat. I always drive bbt this spot and decided to have lunch here. They had one server but she managed to keep every table happy as it got busy during a lunch rush. The portions are a good size and prices are very fair. They are also very flexible with custom orders which was nice. A lot of their rolls are spicy which I dknt like so they happily made the without the spice! The quality of their food was great, and 2-3 rolls filled me up! I tried a Philadelphia roll, tuna roll and yellowtail roll. Yum! The fish was fresh and delicious and I can't wait to come back. read more

This little place is a hidden gem. Items are served quickly and the fish is fresh. Staff is friendly as heck. We ordered a 88 piece take out tray for a party and WOW. The presentation was beautiful. The selection covered items far for the safe sushi eaters (california rolls), the intermediate muncher, (shrimp tempura w/ tuna on top) to the raw fish aficionado, (Rainbow rolls, spicy tuna and unagi). The only sushi place I'll call home. The service is great, the rolls are extremely wallet-friendly, and the miso soup is free. The server is beyond friendly and always makes the experience more enjoyable. I've been going at least 2-3 times a month and have never had a complaint about the place. Part of the reason I'd come here was because I could get a decent amount of decent sushi on a budget, but with the price increase, for 2 people it was about $40, close to the price of a nicer sushi restaurant. Their super baked salmon ($12) roll is sooo good but everything else being average.... it might not be my go to spot anymore. :( read more

Okay. Not only is the staff here incredibly friendly, but the food is absolute quality. I came here for dinner and immediately as I sat to take my seat, I was greeted with complimentary miso soup and water. You really can't go wrong with $3, $6, and $10 sushi. My aboslute favorite is the Tuna Lover. The avocado and the tuna is SO FRESH. The tuna is soft and perfect, it literally melts in your mouth. I also got two desserts: green tea tempura ice cream and strawberry tempura ice cream. Please note that the strawberry tempura ice cream is fried strawberries with two scoops of green tea ice cream. The green tea tempura ice cream is fried ice cream. Both were absolutely delicious and satisfying! I will for sure be coming back here. The prices and quality is incredible. I feel bad leaving this review as the staff was super attentive and the food was served fast, but I came here with my boyfriend and later that night we both threw up from I'm assuming food poisoning from here. It was quite a bummer because for sushi it was a good price. The restroom was also very unsanitary. My boyfriend is allergic to sesame, and pretty much the entire staff didn't know if they used sesame oil in their spicy tuna rolls. Luckily, one chef stepped up and said they do, so he couldn't order anything with mashed fish as it was all made with sesame oil. Avocado rolls were very good, but alarming that I somehow got sick when all I ate was veggies and their miso soup. More like 3.5 stars. This is my go-to sushi spot whenever I'm back in the valley. This is VALUE sushi, at $6 for 3 pieces, the quality is consistent and fish is always relatively fresh. However, as of this review, I had an unfortunate encounter with one of the waitresses. Let me preface this by saying that customer service has always been phenomenal prior to this. I ordered salmon sushi and received California rolls. When my guest and I kindly pointed out that I had clearly said "sushi", her excuse was that I was looking at the part of the menu with California rolls when I was ordering. I repeated that I said sushi, and she stood her ground with no apology. The restaurant did rectify the mistake but the waitress's response was unacceptable to me and left me with a bad aftertaste in my mouth for the rest of the evening...see what I did there. This is my go-to Grubhub sushi spot. Great value for pretty decent food. If you want a quick bite of sushi without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. They always have a $5 off of $40+ deal on Grubhub which covers the delivery fee and then some and it usually arrives quicker than other places. Only thing is, I wouldn't ever dine-in here again. Parking lot is tiny and shared with the other businesses in the plaza-- which is just a small inconvenience, really. The bigger issue is that it seems they prioritize all take-out orders over customers sitting at a table. It took a while for the staff to even acknowledge us while we stood at the doorway of their nearly empty restaurant. Finally, they sat us down at an unclean table, letting minutes go by before wiping it it down. After looking through the menu, we waited for someone to take our orders. Nothing. A few minutes more, still nothing. As we waited, we watched several customers walk in, order takeout, and leave with their food. Still, no one came to take our orders. We finally flagged someone down and told him we were ready to order and he smiled and told us he would be right there while walking away. A couple more groups came in to order takeout which he and another worker took right away. Both took several phone orders too. Finally after 45 minutes of sitting there only having gotten water, we stood up and left. As we walked out, an empty "Sorry!" was shouted across the room. 45 minutes of sitting at a table without even getting an order in is honestly outrageous. Their only saving grace is their value for price and the option for takeout/Grubhub. Long story short, I'll let some other sucker sit around their restaurant while they watch my dinner be ordered, made, and delivered faster than it takes them to get seated. read more

This is another sushi place owned by folks that aren't Japanese. That's not a bad thing, just an observation that becomes apparent with the existence of items like bulgogi on the menu. We decided to try this place since they have a very flexible menu. My wife isn't into seaweed or raw fish, so she ordered a few rolls that used soybean paper and baked fished instead. They were all fine and the KFC roll is a pretty tasty item for those that don't even want fish. My son loved the yaki soba. The miso soup is fine and nothing remarkable. The rest of the table tried a good variety of rolls (excluding real shell fish like shrimp). They were all good but some of the outstanding ones I recall are the tataki and asher rolls. The value proposition is probably this place's strongest feature. The fish is acceptable but the price is pretty low for your basic rolls. This could easily be a quick spot to stop by if you are on your way home and have a craving for sushi. The parking might be difficult if you try to visit during peak hours. Service was generally ok. I asked for more ginger at one point and had to ask again. One of our rolls was clearly missing spicy tuna and the server seemed to defend the product that was given as complete. It's probably not 1 $ if you're actually getting a good sample, which I recommend. If you manage to stay under 10 per a person, I commend you for your preference of the $3 rolls. $3, $6 and $10 rolls!!! NO TAX! First time here with my boyfriend and we were excited to see what the hype was about. Luckily we were seated right away at the only open table available inside. The place is really small so unfortunately I had to move the table slightly over and had to sit an angle just so I didn't bump into the woman behind me. Lost a star because of this. I shouldn't have to sit uncomfortably while eating at a restaurant. The menu is under the glass of the table which is really convenient. After we were done eating the waitress passed the table to my left a fork over us so while I was okay with it because we were done, its ultimately bad manners and service. I suggest the owner maybe expanding or moving locations so he can provide more comfortable seating. We ordered the $3 spicy tuna, the $6 rainbow, $6 crunch and $10 super baked salmon. When we got our food I noticed we never got any plates, which isn't that a big of a deal but I like having them there since I sometimes use soy sauce. The rolls looked decent but the spicy tuna was so small. Unless you want to sample anything or you're poor af/tryna save, I would stick with the $6 and $10 rolls. The other rolls were really good especially the super baked salmon. We decided to order another super baked salmon roll and it was just as delicious. We ended up spending $35 for all 5 rolls. They offer a bunch of deals on the front of the menu which allow you to get a bunch of sushi rolls for ~$48+. If you were planning to spend that much, you should consider it. Was it worth it?? Yes and No -The $3 rolls are cheap but they are tiny and you would need to order a couple to fill you up. It's basically filler. Good but not great. -The $6 rolls are worth it and they are a good size too. Keep em coming! - The $10 rolls are cheaper than other places UNLESS you go to another sushi places happy hour. It varies from location to location. My suggestion is if it's not happy hour, then come here and eat eat eat!! If it is happy hour and plan on stacking up on the specialty rolls then go elsewhere and save those $2-3 for each roll. Overall, really good dinner. You get what you pay for. I'm not sure why this place has so many 5 star reviews, on wait, I do know why, because it's incredibly cheap and taste better than 7-11 or Ralph's sushi. If you want some incredibly delicious rolls it's not the place, only the lobster roll was good I would give this place 4 stars if all their rolls were at least decent like that one but just so happens that roll is also $6 for just one piece which obviously won't fill you up so that defies the whole "hey it's cheap and amazing" type reviews that are posted all over this Yelp page. We ordered sushi with brown rice, and every roll was falling apart, none of the rolls had any flavor at all besides the lobster roll, it was a joke. The reviews here seem hit or miss but I decided to try it out anyway and it was unfortunately a miss. I requested no mayo and it almost seemed like they were punishing me for that request because the roll was DRENCHED in mayo. I also ordered albacore sushi and tempura. The albacore sushi was super fresh and delicious which is why I'm giving 3 stars. Like others have said, the tempura is fine, completely underwhelming and lacking flavor....it was just....meh. Not sure how the spicy tuna tastes because it was drowning in mayo even after wiping it off so I just tossed it after a few bites of tasting only mayo sauce. They recently raised their prices which is kind of discouraging because this used to be the cheap sushi place of the valley. But now it might be time to test out sushi stop. The sushi was decent but they did bring out miso soup which is nice and oranges at the end of the meal. The basic rolls are as the name implies basic and the premium rolls are a little more special but still nothing mouth watering good. All in all as the prices raise the audience they attract might start to deteriorate and substitute sushi places might grow their market share. This place is fantastic! The parking can be a little hard because it's a small lot but there's street parking available too so it's not that bad. The food is so delicious and so cheap! The rolls are absolutely yummy. My favorites are the asparagus roll, the mixed veggie roll (with cream cheese added in), and the veggie tempura roll. The miso they give you before your meal is super yummy too. The staff are very nice and attentive. The food comes out quickly too, even when they're busy. They seem to be pretty consistently busy. Sometimes the rolls can be a little loose but it doesn't bother me because the quality and price are so damn good. read more
