We opted to have the kids do Wool Painting, which was tons of fun, but walking around the My Creative Outlet store & the "craftiness" building/party room (a few doors down), we were able to see various other craft ideas that would be fun to explore at some point. Even many of their room decorations are handmade! If you haven't checked out My Creative Outlet, I highly recommend you do. Whether you buy an item from their store, take a class, host a party, or simply browse their store, the creative possibilities they offer are endless! Unfortunately, between crafting, chatting, & cake, they ran out of time. Martina (& Jenny) were so sweet & actually sent each of the kids home with the necessary materials to finish it on their own.

My only comment is the displays are all messy and unorganized, but there are so many cool looking items that I definitely will be getting gifts for people here. My coworker mentioned that when you buy multiple items they bundle the price for discount, and sometimes you can haggle down a little.

I wanted to get a few things for various toy drives I've been donating to around LA this month and made out with a great haul. The girls in the store were both super helpful and kind... Greeted me and offered to assist on the floor. I did a few laps throughout as they had so much! Including items displayed on top of other items... Almost like walking into some super collectors living room and seeing their ultimate store of accessories, charms, collectibles, cutlery, drinkware, plushies, toys, and more. I feel like the store itself used to be closer to the main mall side near Claire's and the entrance closest to Tampa Avenue / Nordoff Street a few years ago, but has shifted toward the back (might be mixing it up with another Westfield or maybe it's just been a while since I was here). Being such a popular chain store, they'd do well anywhere in the mall. However, it felt like a mission to locate it. And there wasn't much around it with a vacant former department store being next to it on the 1st level. If not for the sale, I'd have spent way more. Definitely on the pricer side compared to other places, but I appreciate the physical experience here as you can't come across everything they carry online or their own website. Feels a little more neighborhood-esque with the printed and handwritten signs. Definitely welcome and an easy shopping experience overall.

There are just so many different goodies and things that you can buy as gifts for friends, personal use, home decor, your pet, etc. The stuffed toys selection are so squishy and so cute! I love what Miniso offers and they are always such a reasonable price too, for a medium sized plush it would be in the $10 range for example. I made three gift boxes for my friends filled with all sorts of unique and cute assortments for a good deal. Buying something from here doesn't hurt your wallet. I stopped by this Michaels store yesterday to look at their balloons selection because they had a…read moresign outside that they sell balloons now. The balloon are in the middle of the store right when you walk inside. They had some great choices and you don't have to pay for the helium, just for the balloon themselves. The prices will vary depending on which one you get. I asked an employees if I can purchase the balloon first and then come back to get it filled with helium but she told me it's better to do it all at once. So I'll come back on Saturday morning to do that. I also decided to walk around the store since I also had to use the bathroom. The bathroom is toward the back of the store but it was closed for whatever reason. I saw that this Michael store now has a self checkout station, they didn't have that before. The staff are friendly and ready to answer any questions you have.
