They even make site visits to make sure that everything is being done to standards or above. They have various positions that all lookout for a property, such as a master gardener, people with a background in ecology education relating to agriculture, a project manager, landscaper, leads and more. Now, there have been times that we have been unhappy because maybe they blew dirt but a simple phone call resolves all of this, and they are top-notch at resolving it just take a look at some of the properties that they landscape.

Overcharged for change orders that we were quoted previously much less. This led to thousands of dollars of increases that we did NOT agree to, nor did they make us aware of these price changes. Tod, the owner was incredibly rude towards the end. Seth the project manager was incredibly disrespectful and rude throughout the project, not fixing mistakes, not respecting our requests, etc. He lost all his workers during our project, and ended up with workers that were NOT experienced towards the end to put in our fence, you can already tell how that turned out.

The sloping wall seen in these picture is the result of the contractor not compacting the backfill before installing the steps. I incorrectly assumed that a company involved with this type of work would have known to do this step. I guess they saved $100 on a compactor equipment rental on a $15k job. The fact that they didn't appear to own any of the equipment they used should have been a sign that they don't normally do this type of work. Anyway if you want the job done right, probably best to go with a competitor, oftentimes low bid is not the best value.

Tran was very workable, very polite and easy to work with, he discussed things with us as he progressed, making note of what he would do next or what needed addressing with us. We love the new bulkhead wall, so much safer & looks fantastic. His team was very tidy with the final clean up of the working area. We are delighted that we found him and plan to have him back to do other projects that we have ahead of us. We hope you will give him an opportunity to bid & work on your next projects too. Mike from MBR was contacted initially to seal my grout and after they started the work, he found…read morethat there was existing issues with the previous installation. He asked if I wanted him to look further and I said "yes" There ended up being a catastrophic amount of damage from an incorrectly installed roof that I got last summer which had resulted in a majority of the master bathroom having extensive water damage. Mike agreed to help me with getting everything fixed, essentially kick-starting his solo efforts as a general contractor and got his appropriate licensing and bonding to work as such in an individual capacity. He performed emergency coverage tasks on the roof during extreme weather to attenuate ongoing damage and ended up needing to gut and replace the entire master bathroom. Mike organized and subcontracted to experts for each specialized task including plumbing (all of the old plumbing in the walls was done incorrectly and would not last longterm) and large-scale tiling (Mike's father is a master tiler and it absolutely shows in the amazing work), always keeping me aware of any changes to the ongoing bill. While the task did end up being more than the initial grout cleaning, the full rebuild of my master bathroom was a significantly better value than other quotes I heard. The quality is masterwork and my wife loves it, and isn't THAT what really matters? It took several months to complete the job, due to always finding something else that the previous builders had done wrong or not at all; but now I have a master bathroom that I will not ever need to worry about. I will be hiring Mike again for my contracting needs.
