Pros: Service guy was nice and unclogged the drain. Con: I spoke with the owner what needed to be done because I knew it was roots that was causing the problem. Told him I need a snake that can remove roots. He said it would be between $250-$300. They showed up around 9:00 am and had everything cleaned up and out of the house around 10:15 am. Technician tried to charge me $375 saying it was 2 hours of work, when I was told it would be $300.00 max and a lot of the time was wasted due to their equipment not working and the technician trying to fix the attachment at the end of the snake. Equipment was old and literally broke after one use. I paid with cash and asked for a receipt and the tech said they were going to send me an invoice in the mail, but I think he meant receipt. I called back to make sure it was a receipt and not an invoice that they were sending out because I had already paid for the service. Owner gets mad at me and starts yelling profanity over the phone dropping f bombs every other word, because I told him I did not want to pay the $375.00, when he quoted me over the phone $300.00 and a large portion of their time spent was trying to fix the snake that broke right away. There were other issues also but when the owner of the company goes off swearing every other word and will not even let you talk that is when there is no point in supporting them anymore.

They took a check for $2,500 for a "deposit" (our deductible) of 2 technicians (NOT plumbers) for 1 hour of work, rental of fans for a weekend, and misc. supplies. The plumber arrived and charged us another $675.00 (now I have spent $3,175). They wanted me to blindly sign an invoice - I denied. I continued to ask for a breakdown of my invoice - I received 2 e-mails with a blank piece of paper. When I would contact the office to let them know to resend it to "my" e-mail as all communication was from my e-mail and I was the one in contact with them, the supervisor Kyle continued to send it to my husband's e-mail that he does not read and my husband does not monitor - it took several days and they kept asking me to sign to close out the bill but I kept asking for a breakdown of the bill. Once I finally received it, they charged me $1,600 from the initial $2,500 (I still was out the $675 from the plumber) - I asked them to review the charges because I felt it was too high, the admin said a supervisor, Kyle, would call (never did). After 11 days Kyle replied via e-mail, they have all the signatures they need they decided to close out the account and gave me $900 back from my initial "deposit" (total cost $2,275). I still have a 1 open hole floor to ceiling & a hole in the ceiling, along with carpet damage that needs to be fixed/cleaned. I never signed agreeing to the price and I never got the call from the supervisor... Next emergency - I will call someone else.

They provided help installing a water heater, helped with the plumbing on our outdoor boiler, and installed baseboard heating in our home. Unfortunately, Metro is no longer doing residential work. They're only doing commercial plumbing and heating work now. Thankfully, one of their plumbers is working on his own and still does residential work.
