I thought about going to another company but stopped by Elm Street just to ask them if they could look at the brakes. The owner himself took over and he spent two hours going over the problem with a couple of his workers... As time ran out he,,, Josh.. asked me to bring the car back after the weekend giving them time to do some research. I took the car back Monday morning... two hours later the car was ready... I heard no squeals or grinding.. actually no sound whatsoever.. When I went to pay the bill... Josh said.. "no".. we should have found this when we did your brakes.. .. I was in with a 2006 Ford escape that another place said I needed six plugs and six coils. Dad's found all the calls were found, but found a fuel injector that needed to be replaced. They did a very thorough job at a very fair price. They also did a rear brake job the previous place that I need a caliper, but I don't. I'll definitely come back.

Never consulted with me if I could afford this or not !! I had to dig deep into savings for this even though I hated to do it. I would have appreciated a consult before the repair. It's scary to think what would have happened if I couldn't pay the extra money. They would have kept my vehicle so on and so fourth. To add insult to injury my truck sounds worse now than it did when I took it in. Drive to Toyota and the timing is way off! Made an appointment with Toyota to remedy timing. And then pay them, I should have taken it to Toyota in the first place, would have only cost me a few hundred dollars more. I could take it back to dads but at what cost? Keep my truck for two weeks again. Would they find a whole slew of other things to throw money at? Never called me the first time why would they call me this time.

I feel he is honest and fair. On one occasion I went to Tomlinson's for a second opinion due to a major dealership said I needed a $1,600 part replaced. Greg did a diagnostic testing and determined that the $1,600 repair was not needed. In fact, that was over three years ago and the vehicle runs great and the part never replaced. As I drive down the highway it sounded like my window was down from all the air coming in. When I came to them with the issue they absolutely did not care. They give piss poor service and I would never go there if you want things done right!
