Just had an incredible private lesson with Pilar via SUP with Wade!…read more I've wanted to try SUP for a while and decided to book a private lesson with my girlfriend, as we now live nearby. I have not worked out in several months and am overcoming a few health concerns. My girlfriend on the other hand is extremely athletic! Pilar introduced us to SUP in a way that allowed us to have fun from the moment we hit the water and enjoy together. Pilar provides us with clear instruction that allowed us to push ourself at our own pace but respected my limitations. We were provided with well maintained and sanitized gear. Parking was secure and easy, here in San Pedro. Pilar exudes positive energy. Through the lesson we realized she is a very experienced expert, yet she is approachable, makes it all feel easy, and shares about her personal journey and that really added to our experience. I will recommend Pilar to all of my friends and family, can't wait to continue to explore SUP thanks to Pilar's wonderful intro. He hooked me up with a bomb biscuit. I wasn't sure what it would feel like but it was exactly what I needed. I caught "nothing foot nothings," on my new custom board and it does well on bigger waves.
