HPR just celebrated their 10 year anniversary and we are one of their long-term clients who have been there the entire time! Not only is there daycare available starting at 6am, which is phenomenal for those of us who start their day early, but also birthday pawtys, boarding, grooming, and training. My dogs have done it all and they get so excited when it's time to play!! Daycare packages offer financial savings, and they also have rewards that are basically converted into cash towards purchases. The staff can be contacted via text or email. If a phone call is needed, I can reach out or sometimes the groomer will call with questions. Highly recommend to give Henderson Pet Resort a try! Easy drop off and pick up with short-term parking up front. The staff can also help bring the dogs in and out, if needed. Behavioral evaluation is a first step, plus shot records; ask the front desk for more info. But once a customer, it's easy to upload most recent shot records to the files.

Your dog will come back from 3 weeks of "training" the exact same. Except now he recourse guards to the point of biting people. The only skill he seemed to learn here. We took our Husky in for what was called "3-week boarding training". Its cost was somewhere around $2300. Their cameras were "broken" most of the time so we got hardly any proof they actually trained him. We got our dog back about a week ago with zero instruction whatsoever. We've called almost daily for instructions on what they taught him but they don't respond. Our dog seems literally the exact same as when we dropped him off. He has not appeared to learn anything. What did they do with him for 3 weeks? Upon dropping him off, they make you pay for a $20 leash thing. Why this isn't included in the "3-week package" is beyond me. Upon picking him up, they said the "3-week package" we already paid for was only the training portion and we still need to pay more for the "boarding" especially during weekends when they don't do training. I said no this was not disclosed upfront but they "charged the card on file" anyway which I will be disputing as fraud. I've had 8 dogs go through boarding training at other facilities and all came back having learned so much. Henderson Pet Resort just seems to keep your dog and bill you however they can. Do not leave your pup at this facility. There are plenty of others.

I'm honestly pretty picky when it comes…read moreto dog trainers because I used to work at a doggy daycare so I'm familiar with different training styles and really wanted someone who actually knew what they were doing. I wanted a trainer who leaned toward positive reinforcement but also understood that every dog is different and sometimes you need to use different techniques depending on the situation. I originally wanted to do group classes but was nervous about being around a bunch of dogs and owners who weren't prepared. I really liked that Positive Changes has you do private training first, which made me feel SO much more comfortable going into my first group class. My anxiety was definitely higher than my dog's, and he ended up going great! Bobby is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. He even used analogies related to my everyday life that helped things really click for me. The biggest thing I've learned is that training takes consistency and work at home, but when you actually practice what Bobby teaches, you can really see the results. I'm so happy with the progress Stix has made, and after being so picky about finding the right trainer, I can confidently say I found him. I really appreciate Bobby's knowledge and approach, and I couldn't be happier with our experience!

I thought it was a bit expensive plus the schedule didn't fit mine so I was hesistant that my money would just be wasted. I looked at other places, but I wasn't able to find what I was looking for so I tried to do my best doing the training at home. While I was successful at potty training, I failed at many things. I tried to take Chloe to the dog parks to socialize, but I was picky. The dogs at the park were unpredictible. I was very protective of Chloe. The parks were dirty. I drove across town to find the right park but didn't find what I was looking for. So I decided to stop going to the parks. 5 years later, I decided to give Bobby a shot and had to figure out how to make it fit my busy schedule. We had 5 private lessons with Bobby first then Chloe graduated into the group class. It's been about 6 months since our first training session, and we have made so much progress with Chloe. In fact, this weekend my friend saw Chloe for the first time since we enrolled with Bobby. My friend's comment was the training is really working. Chloe is so behave. Not only did we find the right trainer, we also found the right place to socialize with other dogs. The place is big so it's like our park now. The place is clean. It doesn't even smell like dogs. It's airconditioned so its good all year round. For the price, it's so worth it! I'm glad I chose this place.

I have had multiple dogs and she's the only one I've ever felt the need to get help training with, so she's a challenge. Her behavior isn't perfect, but she's made a ton of progress and is completely manageable now. She's still getting better but even if this is was all the improvement she made I would honestly be totally content with the results. Additionally, their prices are really reasonable compared to other places. My recommendation to get the best bang for your buck is to do the 3 week training program at their facility while coordinating with an extended vacation you might be planning. Their price is in the same ballpark as an upscale boarding house, except you get the huge benefit of the training and attention for the pooch! The team is also very personable and flexible, being very gracious with their schedule when I needed some follow up training sessions to make sure I was reenforcing the training properly. I also always was left feeling secure that these guys are dog lovers and my precious gal was in caring hands when I was out of town. All in all, I sincerely was very happy with my experience and have already recommended them to several of my friends.

Today, I was able to walk right by a medium sized dog lunging and barking at my Maltese mix puppy while my dog stayed right next me without lunging or barking perfectly after working with Rich for about 3-4 weeks. And, the price is an amazing value for the results. Rich is seriously an amazing dog trainer and is great with people too. I am so impressed, happy, and grateful for Rich and his training!! I will never go back to not training my dogs. And, I will always be a loyal customer to Sin City K-9!

We had to put one of them down due to injuries and thought I would need to rehome 2 of them but he worked with all of us and made my pack stronger and more bonded than ever. He took the time to come over first and watch and observe them together and then he worked with them individually and in smaller groups. He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. They can meet other dogs if they want or we just do our own thing and my crazies love Mr. Nick. He still periodically checks in on us and always responds to my texts when I have a quick question. You can tell he truly loves all the animals he works with and they can feel it too. I'm so glad he was recommended to me by my vet. He was life saver then and he is still one now. Because 5 crazies is a lifelong commitment and the training snd questions never stop.

If you're looking for a knowledgeable and professional dog trainer, Nick brings both expertise and clarity to the process. His approach gave us the confidence to move forward with one of his puppy training packages. The group sessions have been incredibly valuable--providing structure, socialization, and meaningful growth for Koa. We're especially grateful for the one-on-one guidance Nick has given us, helping us confidently reinforce commands and build strong obedience skills at home and on walks. We've seen tremendous improvement, particularly in managing Koa's over-the-top excitement when greeting people and other dogs. Content K9s also offers boarding and training to their clients, so having that option during our recent 2 1/2-week international trip gave us complete peace of mind. Koa was clearly well cared for, and we returned to a happy, well-adjusted pup. Nick and the Content K9s team deliver professional, effective, and thoughtful dog training. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for puppy training, obedience training, or behavioral support.
