Had…read morecomplications 6 months ago right after the surgery and 6 months later still having the same complications. My right ear where the incision was done was not properly reattached with lots of scar tissue behind it and still causing pain and discomfort. Also my ear lobe underneath and towards the middle of ear was tucked backwards and healed that way. He said no one would notice the difference of the asymmetry of my ear which really upsetted me! The Lift I had done for my neck was tight and nice at first but now it's starting to sag all over again on one side. He did not lipo enough on left side of neck and lift enough on that side cheek as much as he did on the other side. The right side he lifted much tighter than the left. So with the asymmetry being off with my right ear and left side of my neck I am truly unhappy with the results! I asked if he could fix both issues and instead he offered a steroid injection for my ear scars and an additional $4500 to fix the neck issue for the exact same procedure all over again! That's more than half of what I already had paid for the first procedure he had done! Why should I have to pay all over again! Makes me wonder if he does this intentionally to patients just to have you come back to get more money from you! Stay away from this surgeon as he is only after your money and will only get poor results at the end. Now I have to find another doctor to correct my issues as I will not give this surgeon another dime!

Wow, the administration staff is horrible. I was seen back in July, handed them my referral and they never sent it in with the insurance claim. I was then billed as point of service. Contacted the location and was told they would fix it, would contact my doctor and get the a copy of the referral and submit again. They got a new referral but they gave the incorrect date and it still doesn't cover the visit I was billed for. I have contacted them no less than 5 times since August. I have left messages for Laura the office manager 3 times and never receive a call back. I have contacted their billing offices and was told this was the locations fault and they will need to fix it or I will continue to be billed. I have been receiving threatening emails weekly from them stating they are going to send me to collections. Wow, what happened to the best dermatology office in Tampa Bay? Being bought by Advanced Derm is a huge disservice to the patients. Clearly all they care about is collecting money, not the patients or customer service. As much as I love the medical team, I am going to have to find someplace else to go in Palm Harbor. Also, will be telling all of my fellow military spouses stationed in the area to stay clear of Advanced Derm. Please fix your office staff, they need training or hiring more competent people. I think my 17-year-old high schoolers could do a better job, at least they can return a phone call.
