Temps were taken at entrances, and they gave you hand sanitizer to use before moving forward into the building. Elevators are limited to 4 people at a time. My appointment was with Dr. Hanes. He was very personable, excellent bedside manner, and very thorough. He didn't make me feel rushed, he talked slowly and made sure I understood what he was explaining to me regarding the next steps we had to take in my treatment plan. I felt very comfortable with him. They have a lot of doctors who accept Tricare at this facility that's why I came here. My physician Dr. Perry is located on the 3rd floor here. You can get x-rays, mammograms, Orthopaedics, Oncology and Pediatrics all in one place. There is tons of parking but on any given day the lot can be full. All the staff seems friendly to me. The doctor was friendly and ultimately prescribed the right treatment, covering two possible diagnoses at once, which I appreciate. However, the communication was lacking. The discharge paperwork only referenced one condition, with no mention of the second possibility. I only found out because my husband recognized the prescription names. When I asked the staff what the second medication was for, the answer was essentially that it "goes with" the first, which isn't an explanation. Patients need to know what they're being treated for and why, especially when the diagnosis is uncertain.

Went here for a GI consult for my sweetheart. From beginning to finish this office was very…read moreprofessional with up to date front office technology and the staff is very good. We arrived to their very pleasant and comfortable office and they were following appropriate Covid protocols. The check-in and paperwork was easy and not cumbersome. I went into the consult with my wife and after vitals and a few questions we had a short wait before we were seen by a nurse practitioner who was very thorough and was a good listener who explored a lot of issues. We were able to pass on the "go to" colonoscopy and settled on CT scans and other diagnostic methods. One none to pick is they gave us sample kits to take home that were not acceptable to our local lab, LabCorp, which resulted in having to get the GI office to call in a new order and making multiple trips to the lab. I would also preferred to have at least a quick conversation with one of the resident GI docs.
