Dr. Chauvin practically visited at least once a day for the first 72 days. I was consumed with different infections from an abscess in my hip/buttock/thigh due to very heavy radiation 33 years beforehand. He was my cheerleader, internal medicine doc and liason between all of the hospital specialist that dealt with me. Now, after 24 surgeries performed by wound docs, vascular and urologist, he played a very significant role in saving my life. I still have to visit him often and he continues to impress. Throughout my ordeal, during my regular care visits, Dr. Chauvin closely monitored my treatment and tests. He made sure I understood important medical terminology and concepts so I could have meaningful discussions with my oncologists. He even drew graphics to help me understand. During our regular office visits, he also takes the time to discuss my general health, blood work and allows me to ask as many questions as I need to for understanding. I never feel rushed with him. dr bobby wrights is no longer on duval street...he is with mobile diagnostic and medical center on…read morespringhill ave...he is by far the most incompetent doctor that my husband and i have met...he comes across as friendly and empathic...but dont let that fool you...he should be sanction...i believe he helped to kill my husband...he is a fake... i don't recommend him to anyone i care about...he misdiagnosed me said it was either a bug bite or some sort of rash...on my lower leg...it was squamous cell carcinoma...he prescribed a fungal med which i never got and i made an appointment with dr bender at advanced dermatology...when i saw dr bender he told me it was squamous skin cancer...he did a biospy and i had mohl surgery...total incompetence on bobby wrights part... my husband mike saw him in wound care...mike showed him his shrunken pinkie that wright had been treating...i use that term loosely and he didn't do anything about it...2 wks later in mimc and we found out it was mrsa and it had dissolved the bone...i also found out from my husbands medical records that dr wrights knew that mike had an abnormal liver in sept 9 2017 and never told us...i believe that was one of the reasons that mike died...i have found a new primary and will never go back to md&mc doctors ever again... be warned...
