Gave this man about $23,000 over 18 months ago. As of today, he has never done any work on my home, says he won't do any work with insured and licensed sub contractors unless I sign a bunch of new contracts with his subcontractors; that was never part of our original signed contract and the dumped thousands of pounds of roof trusses in my driveway, trapping my vehicles in my garage. All because he got mad that I caught him trying to change structural designs without my permission while on vacation, and questioned him why it took over 3 months to get a 2 hour exterior elevation drawing done. He hid like a little kid for 4 months and wouldn't answer his phone, was rude on the phone previously to that and would hang up numerous times saying his battery was dead. Here is what I can tell you. If you don't question him, let him do what HE wants instead of what is in the contract and with or without permits, city inspections, HOA approval, then you will probably be ok. Question him and he cusses at you, calls you all kinds of names and won't talk to you after that. As far as I'm concerned, with him not returning my money and doing NO work, he is just like a crook, a thief. Roe Gordon Construction just finished a large Renovation/remodel on my home. The work included a bump out (adding seven feet on an outside wall) to my dining area and added a concrete patio with a roof to match my house, removing walls and changing fireplace location, thus enlarging my living room by double. When the work was started, concrete was poured and his crews (sub-contractors) were fast and thorough, completing their phase in minimum time. Every one of my changes and additions were met head-on and with a smile because there are decades of experience and expertise in Mr. Gordon and his crews. The framing, drywall, brickwork, tile and painting sub-contractors were timely and efficient, doing a beautiful job. I am so very happy to be enjoying my "new" home. Well done! This project was completed in June 2018. One final note: Mr. Gordon, out of the goodness of his heart, personally helped me with things I needed to fix/install that were not a part of our contract. (I am up in years, and that was an enormous help.) read more

First off I work in the home building industry, would not provide me with invoices or itemized sheets of where my payments were being dispersed in the job he was contracted to do. Needless to say had to fire him after not being able to complete the job on our home in the amount of time he gave us. Had to pep talk his subcontractors on my dime to get work done they were already paid to do.... My experience was horrible the workman ship was terrible you can see seems in the drywall work throughout my entire home. Just recently had to have an HVAC company come out bc the HVAC company he hired to do my entire unit didn't even properly install the duct work and he is refusing to fix and so is the HVAC COMPANY.... I'm very disappointed in this entire experience and would recommend that you do your research on this company before hiring.... The tarrant county free online records search can explain a lot.... Roe and his team removed a load bearing wall between our kitchen and living room and removed an old cone like ceiling feature from our nook eating area. They then replaced the nook area with a new ceiling and included framing in new joists and applying drywall. They also added roof supports back into the attic where the previous owners had removed to make more storage space. His team did a great job and completed the job in a matter of a couple days. Roe and his team were very professional and I really felt comfortable with their personalities and demeanors. I had the job bid out to several General Contractors and feel Roe was the only GC that did not take advantage of me on price and scope. I am really hands on type of person and appreciated the walk through of scope and specifically how the work would be done. All-in-all, I feel like I have found a GC for life. His experience and expertise made deciding on the perfect roof and color an easy process making our roof stand out among the rest. I hired Roe Gordon Construction to do some interior work on a home in Dallas! I mainly focused on the interior! We moved some walls and made an existing garage into a great room! It was a wonderful addition to the home!!! Roe met with us on time and gave us a very detailed scope of work and proposal. He was great to work with and friendly. He started on the day he promised and completed the work on time with no issues! I am an interior designer and I have HUGE expectations when it comes to the "finish out". It has been a year since we had to fire this contractor and he is still harassing us. We have filed several reports with North Richland hills and most recently today he came to my home because there was no cars and was videoed going threw my mailbox. I have photos and videos of him and the truck he used, had to once again call the police! After a year and still won't leave us alone please do your research before hiring anyone to do any work in your home. Roe gave us some great ideas and was able to take down walls and open up our home to make it a more open concept floor-plan which is what we wanted but we were told by another company that it wasn't possible.
