We decided to replace both our AC system and gas furnace (after the furnace died on the morning of the first blizzard!) with new American Standard units, and Gill gave us a very fair and reasonable price. While Warrior may not have had "7 trucks ready to finish the job in one day" like some of the larger companies promised, Gill and his team focused on doing the work the right way -- with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. What really stood out was the customer service. Gill even helped us install and set up a new smart thermostat I had purchased myself. It's rare these days to find contractors who are both skilled and genuinely trustworthy. A rare combination of quick service, friendly demeanor, and professional expertise in approaching plumbing and mechanical challenges. As anyone who's ever had to deal with complex mechanical or plumbing projects knows, there's always more than one way to approach a problem, and Matt's creative and thoughtful approach to these situations is a great way to ensure the work gets done well and within budget. I've used Matt for both servicing of heat pumps and installation of whole house water filters and all situations Matt's been fast, effective, and reasonable on pricing. I had wanted to contract Nick Druziako to do ductwork at my house. It was a subcontract from…read moreanother firm Gemini Heating and Cooling. So I assembled a contract using a Massachusetts template contract. In the contract I stated the scope of work, amount owed and the payment schedule in 6 payments with the last payment to be paid after city inspection. The owner, Nick Druziako first insisted that he can't wait until final inspection to be paid even though that is the proper way to do this. I eventually consented to his proposed payment schedule. Next he insisted that I sign his "contract" which was not a contract but an estimate even titled as such -- with a list description of the covered scope but written in poorly formed text and even misspelling the customer's name incorrectly. I told him that we needed to sign a real contract. But he insisted that an estimate is sufficient. Eventually he and his partner decided to bail but after collecting $700 from me for a manual J calculation that cost them $2 to do. They Insisted that the payment schedule was too complicated even though it was exactly what they proposed. If you do business with this company definitely ask or provide a formal contract. Based on other reviews here they definitely are going to just walk away once they collect their money. Don't believe the talk about "long term customers". Wanting a huge down payment deposit without a contract is definitely a red flag. Edit: Nick complains that the contract says that the client can walk out at any time. But the actual contract says both parties can end it. Since the deposits are significant the contractor can actually walk away with money without doing any work. Had Nick actually read the contract. It basically states that if the contractor abandons the job before work is done then they need to refund back the extra deposit already paid. The issue here is they never looked at the contract seriously. If they can't even read a simple templated contract they may not be competent enough to install HVAC -- which is very technical.

The very next day the second heating system I had in an addition failed. I was distraught!! Net Zero gave me a great quote..several thousands less than other HVAC. What they did not tell me that they were only electric heating contractors. So after paying $12,000.00 for installation I now pay an electric bill of $1000.00 a month in the winter. They walked by a brand new gas system in my home..disengaged a second gas heating 50 feet away and installed a unit that is costing me a thousand dollars a month. Not one of the employees ...installers. or project estimators...addressed what a poor and unkind decision this was. Now I have to redo my heating system...sell my house...unable to retire . Would they do the same to their mothers..grandmothers? This is a sad and sorry company. Yes I know I'm a stupid elderly woman with no recourse from people like this. I just hope this warns others to avoid this snake company.

SCAMMERS. Full stop…read more I live in a rented condo. I called the non-emergency line and left a message asking for a callback so we could schedule service as soon as possible. I did not request emergency service. Someone called me back and said they were already out on another call and could stop by. So they came by. The next day, my landlord was billed an over $200 emergency fee. When I called to dispute it, the first person told me, "Because you said 'as soon as possible,' we treated it as an emergency." That is flat-out false. Asking to schedule something as soon as possible is not the same as requesting emergency service. The first woman also stated that I said I was not available on Monday. In my message I said I would be out on Monday but my husband would be in and out and could arrange a time. We lived with the issue for days and did not need it immediately. The call was then escalated to "Shannon," who claimed I must have used the emergency line. I absolutely did not. Shannon kept telling me that I must have called for emergency. I did not. Their phone system clearly separates the emergency option, and I intentionally used the regular line. I even warned my landlord before the technician arrived that I had NOT requested emergency service and that I was very surprised by the callback. See Picture below. This is a classic bait-and-switch. The technician himself was professional and helpful--and ironically, we were actively considering service plans as we are in the process of working to buy this condo in the near future. We were going to inquire on service plans and other work with this company. After this experience, I would rather pay more somewhere else than deal with a company that inflates charges by re-labeling routine scheduling as an "emergency" and flat out lies and is deceitful. Be very careful leaving messages with this company and be careful as they lie to cover up. They quietly convert non-emergency requests into emergency calls and then hit you with an over $200 fee after the fact. Completely dishonest. (The photo below is the text I sent to my landlord the NIGHT this happened when I got the call from their tech. My mother worked with Carrier rep in the past and I know about "emergency" services so I gave him a heads up in case).
