I reached out to them over the phone to express my disappointment and ask for explanations, and the very rude person who answered the call, said that they raised enormously the prices due to the inflation. What??? I have been going there for several years, and they don't care about loyal clients? They raised more than 6$ the fee to clean a simple dress?? Now you pay $17.50 to dry clean a summer cotton mini dress. FYI. The worst part, when I politely expressed my frustration, she hang up on me. Terrible!

I've been living in the neighborhood for about 4 years and have been to this dry cleaner for most…read moreof my time here. My boyfriend and I would accumulate about $50 worth of dry cleaning every 2 weeks here so we were very loyal. I came back a few times because the stains and/or odor from any food spills on my clothes would still be there. They said it wouldn't come off, so they gave me a refund. Fine. We still came because they were nice people until I got my dress tailored. It was simple - the straps had to be shorten on the dress. This was a month out before I had to go to a wedding. It took them 2 weeks to just shorten up half an inch. I didn't mind how long it took because we had a good relationship and trusted that it would be done by that time. But when I received the dress, my entire dress was redesigned! My straps were never shortened! Instead they took my straps apart and sewed it back onto the dress in a different pattern. It was a brand new dress!!! I was skeptical to have them fix it because it was an expensive dress and the messed it up so badly. So I asked for a refund. The woman initially said they can't do any refunds but they'll "try" to fix my straps again. This is when I was upset. She said I needed to be more understanding because her tailor had personal problems in her life. I understand things happen in life but it shouldn't be used as an excuse to dismiss bad quality when it is a paid service. That's poor business when you can't separate personal matters from your work. I demanded a refund and didn't return for months because of the terrible customer service. We found a great tailor and dry cleaner on Park Ave but unfortunately it just closed - probably because it was so inexpensive. So I returned to this dry cleaner to give them another shot. I came back because my pants were still stained. These are small stains from just walking in the snow. The couple was very dismissive and said they'll send it again to be dry cleaned and grabbed my pants. I wanted to point out the stains but the woman didn't want to deal with me so her husband told me that they do not guarantee any stains to come out and they don't do the cleaning themselves. They send it to another vendor who has piles of hundreds of items to dry clean, which frankly is another excuse and isn't my problem when I am paying them directly! That's their problem! If I am paying for a service, I don't care if you got a third party involved but you need to deliver the service you are selling me. The husband told me that my money doesn't matter to the 3rd party because they have a lot of customers. It was very rude and he apologized. But his wife, she took out $5 and told me to just take my refund. I will not be returning to this place! If you want your clothes cleaned, do not come here. It's so deceiving because they only press the clothing!! It's not actually cleaned. They WERE nice people who are actually really rude and can't deliver good service.

The new owner (I am assuming) was not only rude and dismissive to what I was asking for from the beginning, but very threatening when I was simply trying to ask for them to fix my pieces.
