This is one of my favorite places in all of Southwest Florida. We were seated promptly, greeted by the server promptly, and our drinks were on the table quickly. I always start with a very small salad and the feijoada, a fancy name for beans, rice, and ribs. Tonight we were served tri-tip, rib-eye, sirloin, and lamb. Small bites add up until you have to stop. Because it was New Year's Eve, they also added a dessert table. I don't get dessert that often, but the flan here is top-notch. All the food servers were dressed in gaucho pants, boots, and shirts, adding to the experience. The ambiance is in theme with the food. read more

Second time at Rodizio in a Monday night. Reservation was for 7. I took two friends and wanted to do something nice. I have to say the service was disappointing, including the server and the gauchos. Multiple requests for the same items, very few meat choices, and while one of the Gauchos was nice , but hurriedly, the other was pretty dismissive and rude. The restaurant also didn't seem very clean...the floors, the bathrooms. It just was kind of meh. I won't go back anytime soon. :( read more

Happy special birthday to me! The Rodizio Grill was the perfect place to celebrate it! We were seated on the outside patio as per request. The weather was beautiful and we could see the fountains from our seat. Beno was our attentive and knowledgeable server. I ordered club soda with lemon and David had a large IPA. We started by going to the salad bar which has an extensive array of hot and cold items. There was Ceviche's as well as Chicken Alfredo. Mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon and Brazilian Stew. I tasted a little bit of everything and returned to our table where the parade of grilled meats and pineapple started to come. Lamb, steak, sausages, chicken and our favorite grilled pineapple with brown sugar. Then to top it off we ordered coffee and flan. I was serenaded by the servers who sang happy birthday in Portuguese! This was a wonderful end to my birthday week. We redeemed the $1 certificate when you buy one dinner. This was the first time here, but we've been to a Brazilian Steakhouse Restaurant before. The staff was very accommodating to us as my wife had recently had foot surgery. There were a lot of choices on the salad bar that were very appetizing. As we have been to this style of steakhouse before we were well aware of the "go" & "stop" for the main meats. The tenderloin we felt was very chewy, the tri-tip was much better and had good flavor. They had bacon wrapped steak which I felt was too chewy as well. When the pork came around my wife and I were given first cuts and there was so much salt on it, for us it was too salty and un edible "for us". There was some roasted pineapple that we truly felt was fantastic!!!! The ambience was very nice and the restrooms were clean and neat. As this was our first visit I feel we need to come back in the future maybe closer to "dinner" time as our visit was around 4:00pm. read more

16 July 2024 ... Tuesday A YELP Event was held at Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse yesterday , 16july24. This was my first time dinning at this restaurant although I have dined at another Brazilian Steakhouse in the past. There were approximately 20 + people ( Yelpers ) in our group. I knew some of them from previous Yelp Events and met some new Yelpers at this event. The Event was coordinated by the lovely Adela who did a fantastic job in organizing this event. Prior to the commencement of our Yelp dining experience we were instructed by the wait staff that when we desired more food we were to place our food indicator GREEN side up. When we had enough food at our table we were to place the food indicator RED side up. GREEN = bring more food ... RED = stop bringing food. Now dinner begins with the Salad Bar where we were to help ourselves to whatever salad selections we desired. The Salad Bar is huge with a variety of vegetables and fruits to create a delicious, healthy salad. Next comes the main course. Various assortments of meat , chicken, fish etc. The food keeps coming until you place your food indicator RED side up. The volume and variety of food brought to our table was incredible. I know my scale is going to hate me in the morning. I can hear my scale screaming at me now ... GET OFF OF ME ... NOW The servers and wait staff were efficient, pleasant and attentive to our every need. I wish I had not eaten for two days prior to our visit to Rodicio because there is so much food ... Salad , Dinner , and Oh Yes , Dessert !!! Oh the Horror Oh my waistline. The food was great , the service fantastic, and the Ambiance was amazing ! If planning a visit to Rodicio , come hungry. You will leave ... satisfied. It's basically an all you can eat dining experience. I know I plan on telling my friends & family about Rodicio's AND ... I will be back ! Very good experience, the servers were super nice and smiling and brought whatever meats you wanted! There were so many meat options and varieties. Went with the family, 8 people. Buffet is amazing as always. I have been noticing something for the last 2 visits, and this time it was quite prevalent, IMO. When it comes to the meats, they bring out lots of chicken and pork meats. I saw very little actual beef meats that had come out. If I was not persistent about requesting PICANHA(btw-i made the request 6 times to 6 different servers including one manager), it is quite possible that my table would have never been served this meat. It was their first time, so they would not have known to ask. That was quite disappointing. In addition, it was challenging to get refills on our drinks due to their team service efforts. Excellent evening with friends enjoying a two hour dinner replete with endless salad bar & all the delicious meat offerings. When we come for special events & dinner here, it is always the purpose in our visiting Coconut Point Mall. We prefer the patio on warmer days & have NEVER left hungry. This Last visit was our third in 35 !! days. It is always a treat. It is appreciated that the manager makes rounds and asks "how is everything?" Should I tell him then or now? One can nit pick but the staff and kitchen do an excellent job. One regret is the lack of HOT veggies on the salad bar serving table to balance the proteins. Aptly named -- "rodizio" means Brazilian meat buffet -- this is a meat-lover's paradise. If you're like me, not much of a steak-eater, but curious about the restaurant, test the waters with weekend brunch and save a few dollars. (I don't know if the offerings and prices are comparable for lunch.) I was interested in the salad bar. While relatively extensive, it wasn't as wonderful as I hoped it would be. Marinated mushrooms weren't marinated enough. Potatoes in the Brazilian potato salad were undercooked. Chunks of fish in the ceviche were nothing great. (The shrimp and marinade were!) A station indicating assorted cold cuts had nothing more than bland salami. One can gorge oneself on meat. Passadores come around with an awesome selection: various cuts and toppings of beef, ham, chicken, sausage. You name it. Even asking for small slices -- merely tastes -- I was overly stuffed. Some I found delicious. Other pieces fatty or chewy. The dining room is steakhouse chic. Dark and woody. While I would have preferred to eat on the patio, nobody was there. (We feared the meat guys wouldn't come around!) So we sat close to a window and were well tended to. Our family loves Brazilian steak houses so we were excited to try Rodizio Grill while on vacation in Florida. We had a little bit of trouble finding them as they are tucked back in the mall. Once we found them, we got in and seated quickly. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. The salad bar is small and had very few exotic food choices. The meat that came with the Churrasco experience was FATTY. The fattiest meat only second to the corned beef you sometimes get at Shapiros in Indianapolis, IN. The pieces I could eat were seasoned well but gosh there was so much fat on 80% of the meat. I'm glad that we tried a new place but we probably won't go here again when we're on vacation in Florida. read more

The all you can eat variety of meats came around very slowly. The mashed potatoes tasted instant and the glass that I had my drink in had dried food on it. The ribs were dry and the best meat was the chicken which rarely came by. It was a waste of our money especially since it was 48.00 for an all you can eat plate. read more

I really liked the shrimp ceviche + marinated quail eggs + picked beets + marinated mushrooms + chimichurri sauce! My favorite meats were the lamb, garlic steak, & garlic chicken. All incredibly flavorful and tender. Service was speedy & kind - meats come out fast & furious. Be ready. Fun atmosphere, loud, big place, their bday song is a little annoying when you hear it 10 times in the night lol If you're a carnivore like me, pass on the first few rounds of the less quality meats & wait for the more expensive cuts - don't feel up on the Buffett sides (unless you want to - then go for it!) I can't speak highly enough about the excellence of the food and service. I limited myself to eating lamb and beef and all the versions of both were excellent. Service was outstanding and I had numerous opportunity to load my place with my favorites. My wife must have told them it was my birthday because the servers all gathered round and sang what I interrupted as something like Happy Birthday but since I don't know the language it could have been " go home gringo" in a pleasant voice and catchy rhythm. It could not have been a nicer night. I didn't expect so many children and the sound level they brought. It was still an excellent experience that I highly recommend. read more

This is the first place in a few years that I've been happy with. I eat out frequently and from casual to high end, I feel that the quality of food has gone so down hill that people are just accustomed to crap now. If one is committed to healthy eating, one usually finds oneself over paying for a substandard piece of protein with the ever so common veg medley swimming in some sort of oil. I found the food at Rodizio to be excellent. The meats were perfection (best I've had anywhere in a while) and the sides buffet had a lot of variety to offer with plenty of tasty options that fit into a healthy eating style. Try a little of everything as some will surprise you. The buffet isn't as vast as places in more metro/tourist areas like Texas de Brazil but we were happy with it. This was our first time here. We didn't feel "rushed" but if you're new to this place, you might feel a self imposed sense of urgency that you'll miss out on something going by...You won't. They'll come by again, don't worry. The only reason I dropped a star is because I just feel that the dessert offerings could be better than what one can get anywhere (likely from the same purveyor)...cheesecake, creme brule, chocolate cake, all previously frozen no doubt as if sliced bananas on the side miraculously make it something else. The chocolate cake sucked. Somehow, it was way more uneventful than any other previously frozen purveyor supplied chocolate cake I'd ever had. They have two choc options, I ordered the cakier one and it was just bland. They do have a hot cinnamon pastry, like a freshly fried donut, which was good. At least one knows that was fried to order even if it came from the freezer. read more

What a wonderful experience! We got there for dinner when they opened at 5:00 on a Friday & seated right away. It's expensive, $49.99 ea. for the AYCE meats & salad bar but it's an experience. We love to try different Brazilian steakhouses when we travel and Rodizio's in Estero, FL is probably our favorite. They have THE BEST salad bar! We could've easily enjoyed it alone ($29.99). The roasted pineapple they bring out on a skewers (along with the various meats) is one of my favorites. Efficient & very friendly servers. Highly recommend for a special night out. read more

Delicious I went for my daughters birthday and their group rate was awesome. Our waiter was great and so was the food. I love Brazilian BBQ and Rodizio did not disappoint. I left out a star because when I made the reservation, I was asked if it was the same check or separate. I said separate checks(to which I was familiar as I had been to a group event at Rodizio before and it was separate checks then also) and when the waiter brought the bill, he told my sister(not me) that he couldn't do separate checks and we could calculate how much each person was and he would put separate amounts on different credits cards. That was completely absurd and ridiculous. Thankfully, a family member paid the entire check so we didn't have to enroll in a restaurant Mathematics class. SMH. Lol read more

What an awesome place! We've visited this place twice now and both times have been great. I've been to quite a few different Brazilian steakhouses and I can by far say this is one of our favorites. They have so many selections of meats coming from every corner of the floor you can't keep up with all of them. They provide the option of well done or medium which is great. The attention and service are great and on point. The restaurant is pretty big so it can accommodate both small and hug parties. Our visit was with 15 others and zero issues. I have been to Brazilian steakhouses before but never Rodizio! We were able to try it out last week for dinner and we very happy we did. You pay a fair price ($50) for an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse experience. You can also pay for just the salad bar/market table which is significantly less and it has a ton of options. They have tons of cold salads, breads, mashed potatoes, rice, beans, charcuterie options, soups, etc. Their drinks are very strong. I got the Rockies limeade and my husband got the caipirinha and in true Brazilian fashion, they were strong! I personally only needed one drink. Servers will come by your table when you give them the green light to bring by steak, pork and chicken options to sample. They'll come with as much as you tell them to. This is a place to come to when you're starving!!! Everything was so delicious, including our chocolate cake for dessert. Our server Elizabeth was so attentive and checked on us often. I would highly recommend for special occasions. They have indoor and outdoor seating which overlooks the water and on a nice evening, it could be very romantic. read more

So I have never been to a Brazilian steak house. My husband went to one in Scottsdale and he liked it so I wanted to check this one out. The premise is, you have a stop, go item placed on the table and when you put the green side up, the carvers comes by with various food items they slice at your table. Beef, chicken, lamb, sausage, pineapple and you choose the amount. When you turn the item red side up , they stop bringing food. 44.99 a person gets you unlimited carving items and unlimited trips to the salad bar. Good value in my opinion. Service was awesome by all employees. I loved it. What a cool dining experience. Outdoor patio overlooks water with ducks. Vilson , our server, totally nailed the service, he was amazing. We went to Rodizio with our party of four this week. They have a great walk up salad bar area with both salad and side items. Once you are done with salad, turn your indicator block to green and you are off to the races. Beef, lamb, chicken and pork in a variety of cuts and styles, all carried by the gauchos on their skewers. All you care to eat. Also the most delicious grilled pineapple. Both the wait staff and gauchos provide great service. Waiting for more garlic parmigiana chicken, just ask. They will find the gaucho with that meat and send him over to you. Want some more lamb. Etc etc etc. Overall a great experience. While a bit pricey, it's a great special occasion eatery. read more

First of all, if your use to Texas De Brazil, or Fogo service, you will be disappointed, me and my wife like going to these places when we want a nice dinner, I didn't have tea about half the meal, I tried to stop a few people to ask for tea and they just walked by. The meat cutters did an excellent job, but service at the table was bad. Our waiter was at the bar talking with other coworkers. The food there was fine, although to me it is still better at the other 2 places, but for this area this is the only Brazilian steakhouse. Went for my fiance's birthday brunch. And after 6 hours in am still full. I ate way too much. We had reservations at noon and they called a half hour before our reservations just as a friendly reminder. This is a nice touch. We were greeted and seated right a way. The waitress explained the options to us. As they have two different options. One is the gourmet bar only and the other is the gourmet bar with the different types of carved meats. The gourmet bar has great selections but if you are looking to have some excellent choices of meats then choose the full Rodizio experience. Both are excellent choices. The meats are available in all different temperatures and seasoned all different ways. This give you so many options. This was our second time here and would definitely go back. We still haven't been able to make it to the desserts. read more

I'm disappointed, but not surprised, that there are little to no precautions taken because of the pandemic -- workers aren't wearing masks, no gloves/sanitizer is provided, tables weren't separated, etc. I would even appreciate just leaving a box of gloves or hand sanitizer stations around the salad and side bar, so guests can utilize them. In regards to the service, I really did appreciate all of the servers coming around and frequently checking on us. When the young men noticed that we were waiting on specific cuts of meat, they would make sure it was coming out next. As for the food, it was good, but not overall impressive (especially with the $40+ price tag). They have a large salad bar, as well as options like rice, mashed potatoes, cheesy bread, chickpeas, etc. my favorite was the roasted pineapple and their chimichurri sauce! Although I would recommend visiting as a first timer that's never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, I'm not sure if I would return. read more
