If there could be a no star option, I'll click no star. I brought my service animals and they asked me for details about what type of service animal they are. I already felt offended and they said they need to charge $120 for my service animals because they don't think the type qualifies as a service animal. It's already against regulations to ask for details and even worse to make their own opinions about what qualifies. They said I can either pay the $120 or I can choose another hotel to stay. They will fully refund for me. Then I chose to leave this super impolite staff and place. But they still charged my $50. They said I misunderstood them. Am I that silly to not understand what is "fully"??? I called them and tried to discussed what's the meaning of fully. They just hung up my call.

Well we got in kind of late and I was excited that the website says it has free complimentary breakfast so we didn't have to make an extra stop at the store for breakfast items. When we got into the room there was only a menu for the connected restaurant and prices. So we asked the front desk and they said they do not have a complimentary breakfast and the web is wrong and they are trying to change the incorrect information -_- obnoxious... Also there was a small piece of fried chicken or friend something on the floor in the room we were in... Kind of gross. Other than that the room was fine and we got a decent price through hotels.com.

The hotel has had a few renovations since the last time anyone had posted some pictures... So I'm posting these pictures in hopes that people will understand that the hotel is doing really well. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and organized with good furniture. The stairs obviously have been renovated and same with the carpet. I stayed four days and three nights during the week of Christmas and so it snowed and was just a very enjoyable time. The rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet. There is a hot tub for guests to enjoy. There is no breakfast available but you do get free coffee and juice 24/7. They also give you 20% off coupons to the diner literally less than 50 feet away from the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The place is a little dated but very spacious. There are refrigerator & microwave but no coffee maker in room. There are plenty of charging outlets. I like the little balcony facing west... tho the view not beautiful in itself but it's something special catching a sunset. Located few minutes from downtown.

I was a bit surprised at the negative reviews. Check-in was quick and parking was ample. Room 118 was clean and spacious with a small patio area, view of the pool (closed for winter), and a clean room. Did I mention we paid $28 for a room with a king size bed? Oh, and because I belong to Choice Hotels membership program, we got double points and a $5 Starbucks card. No complaints here.

    Nasty ceiling.

Dirty and nasty. Food crumbs all over the tables and desk and fridge. Spots of "something" all over the comforters. Beds were so funky we went to walmart to buy blankets to lay down so we didnt have to touch the bed. Several broken steps on the staircase. Something funky growing on the ceiling. Staff was nice but everything else was horrible. Avoid this place at all costs. If we had been able to afford paying for another hotel, we would have left immediately.

Unless your ready to sleep with dirty sheets. Tons of bed bugs do NOT stop here. Terrible experience.

First impression was very poor and then it went downhill. First of all the front desk is a joke. The girl running it has no idea what she is doing. I reserved a room online for check in on 05/06/16 and check out on 05/08/16. We go to our room at the back of the motel and the security door lock is busted out and anyone can walk into the hotel. The wind is whistling through the gap in the door. Great place if you don't care who is outside your room in the middle of the night. So we get up the next morning and drive to Williams, AZ to take the Grand Canyon Railway to the Grand Canyon. (Fantastic trip BTW and the people working the train were terrific!) We spend all day out tromping up and down the Grand Canyon and by the time we get back to the hotel we are dead tired. Go through the broken door, climb up the stairs (yes, there is no elevator), get to our room and neither of our card keys works. So we are locked out. We have to go back down stairs and walk the length of the motel to the front. And this is a deep motel. We wait in line behind some dude who is telling the front desk girl about how many times he's gotten drunk in the bar at the motel. Looks like he might have just got out of jail. When he's done I tell the girl that our room keys don't work. She doesn't say Sorry or anything. Just asks us our room number, re scans the cards and lets us go. We could be anyone who picked up a room card discarded in the parking lot and told her a room #. She didn't ask our name or for any ID. SO, if you don't mind staying in a place where the employees couldn't care less about your security, then this is definitely the place for you!

There was no hot water in the sink or shower. Several homeless people were settled in the parking lot. I book the room in the morning and usually arrive late. I booked this room Oct 24, 2025 thru booking.com. I reserved a king room. I arrived around 11 p.m. to check in. The clerk stated that they didn't have any king rooms available, they shampooed the carperts and they are not dry, I have a double queen. I said I booked a king room, if you do not have it cancel my room and I'll find another place to stay. To my surprise she found a king room and stated that she would have to inconvience another guest (not my problem). She snatched up my card and charged it $128. I got to the room on the 3rd floor in the back no elevator. The windows and door was facing the wall in the breese way. there was a ramp going down to get into the room (the floor was lower to the door seal. I turned on the lights and this was horrible, a slight smell of mold, the ceiling had big stains and cracks from leaking, the entire paint job in the room was horrible (looks like someone tried to stretch a pint of paint for the entire room). This room was actually a suite with a kitchen. The refirgerator looks like it was sitting outside in the elements and put in the room complety filtly inside and outside. The cabinets looked like they were picked out of a dumpster, the stove had a red light on it showing the electrice burners were on, the oven was gross. The floors were not swepted or mopped. The walls had stains all over them drip markes to the floor. The double couch was gross, I moved it from the wass and there was enough dirt and dust to grow weeds. There were white shavings (powder) from sanding the walls all over the edges of the walls, The tile job on the floor lookes like a 6 year old did it, huge gaps all around the base boards. Every light swith was dirty and reused with different paint and stains, a light over the sink was out. You could not close the bathroom door from inside the bath room without standing in the tub, it was only about 6 to 8 inches between the door and toilet. The light above the mirror was a plug in type flurencent light bar that some stuffed into a box and covered it up. The tub was black and old, you could see where the shower mat had been removed, the caulking around the tub and tiile was horrible and over used, this included the baseboards around the toilet and next to the door by the tub. There was dust all over the head board that banged if you touched it, the same all over the one night stand. The drapes had water stains all over them from where it leaks inside. I took photos. When I checked out I asked for the manager and got the excuse that the manager is out and will not be in tell next week. I beleive that this is a family member that owns this hotel. There was a guy there that she was talking to also I believe a family member. Ramada this place is horrible and for you to allow them to use your name is embarrassing.

Blue, the front desk associate, has some of the worst communication skills I've seen in customer…read moreservice. He is extremely hostile and quick to raise his voice to yell at customers. He seems mentally unbalanced and is not a good face for the business. I made a reservation online and arrived with a small camper in tow. Blue immediately assured me that it wouldn't be possible for me to park anywhere on the premises, though I'd already paid to stay the night. When I asked "surely you aren't that busy, the parking lot has many open spaces", he raised his voice to yell at me that as a policy they do not accept oversized vehicles and I needed to find somewhere else to stay. I am a young woman traveling alone and grown men yelling at me is scary, so I left the premises to find another hotel to stay at. I called the agency I booked the hotel through to cancel the reservation. Blue reassured them on the phone that he can't do a refund because one guest can only take up 2 parking spaces. My car and camper can detach and take up exactly 2 spaces. This detail would have been helpful to hear initially instead of being yelled at and shooed away so I could resolve the situation. Because I booked another hotel room at Blue's insistence, and then he refused me a refund. I returned to the hotel to clarify with Blue that I would have liked to know the bit about being able to take up 2 parking spots because I could have fixed the problem and stayed there instead of paying for 2 hotels, but he started raising his voice at me, telling me the blatant lie that he "was trying to tell me that, but I wouldn't listen", and continued to scream at me to get off his property. As long as this man is working here, I'd recommend staying far away from this business. I've added some photos of the space in the parking lot for reference.

The second rooms beds were made but the bedding was unusually wrinkled, I pulled both back and there was body fluids and tons of hair all over the sheets. The third room that we actually stayed in under the repeated phrase of "it's just one night and we don't have to shower", the linens were clean but it was gross. Phone had dirt all over it and was sticky, there was crumbs all over the floor (didn't realize it until I took my socks off and walked to the bathroom and then we put shoes on anytime we walked on the floors afterwards), there is dirt build up everywhere and in every nook and cranny of the room, it looks like at one point they painted or resealed bathtubs and they are all peeling, there is stuff wiped all over the walls, the elevator/stairs/everywhere that's a common area is gross. The people diagonal under us were outside drinking and being loud until at least 2am. Never again. I already cancelled our two upcoming reservations we had there.

We paid for a 6 night stay. The next room they moved us to was much better. The microwave was clean and the fridge worked. Turned on the "fan" and the room cooled to near freezing. We stayed our 6 nights. I believe this place has a long term stay area were there are sketchy people that I see holding signs on street corners. And I firmly believe they have substandard conditions there because they claimed their air conditioning was broken. Maybe in that one building but no fan will ever cool a room to near freezing. That's air conditioning. I believe they have a guest section where everything works and then a long term stay where they could care less that anything works. We packed our bags and headed up to Flagstaff for some reprieve. A little nervous taking our 2 year old but based on the reviews, we took a chance. I'm beyond grateful we did. Our hotel room was exactly what we needed, two beds, plenty of space, updated, mini fridge, mini microwave, bathtub to bathe little, super comfy beds and blackout shades to get some well deserved rest (if you have kids - you know). We only checked out the restaurant for breakfast and it was okay - nothing amazing but also not bad. The waitstaff were very pleasant and timely. The amenities are what really stole the show. The park was actually perfect for our toddler to run around, get dirty and make some new friends. It's well designed to accommodate kids of all ages and actually entertained me as mom too. We met plenty of other parents there with their littles which made it that much better. We planned to check out the pool but our son was on explorer mode so the trails, basketball court and park took up his time. The only downside to our stay, was that our bathtub drain was clogged so our showers were so fun with standing water up to our ankles. We did call a few times but no one ever came to fix it (maintenance was tied up with the pool I later heard and it was a holiday weekend so maybe they were short staffed). I called and spoke with the front desk who offered us a comp toward our bill for the inconvenience which was appreciated. Overall we had a lovely stay and plan to return in the winter for their Christmas festivities.

My overall rating for Little America Hotel Flagstaff is 3 stars…read more I want to start by saying that overall, many of the staff were kind, and I've stayed at this property multiple times before with good experiences. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds and pillows are amazing, and the views of the Coconino Forest are beautiful. I also really enjoy the heated pool, the walking trails, and how convenient the location is to nearby stores, gas stations, food, and the highway. However, this stay started off on a rough note during check-in and unfortunately impacted my overall experience. When I approached the front desk, the representative (I believe his name was Hudson) had just been warm and friendly with the guests ahead of me. But when it was my turn, his entire demeanor shifted. I greeted him politely, introduced myself, and asked how he was doing--he didn't acknowledge my greeting at all. He became very robotic, avoided eye contact, and rushed through the process in a way that felt uncomfortable and dismissive. The interaction continued to feel tense. He spoke quickly, made assumptions about my payment method, and presented documents to sign without explanation or engagement. The only time he made eye contact was when emphasizing rules about no smoking and no pets. I had previously called to confirm that I could bring my cat, who is an emotional support animal, and was told that would be allowed with documentation. When I explained this, he became agitated and insisted I must have spoken to a third party, implying the information I received wasn't valid. After requesting a manager, the situation shifted, and I was eventually allowed to proceed with a one-time fee instead of a nightly charge. However, the interaction felt unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable. What made this experience more concerning was something I observed after checking in. When I connected to the TV system, I noticed that one of the device names visible on the network included a racial slur. Guests do not have the ability to rename these TVs--they are pre-programmed--so this is something that had to come from within the organization. That was extremely upsetting and unacceptable to see in a professional environment. It's 2026, and people are still out here using racial slurs, spreading hate instead of love and kindness. I'm not interested in being in environments that feel stuck in the past. I want to be around warm, welcoming, modern people who choose unity over division. This is the main reason I cannot rate this stay higher. While I understand that not everyone reflects this behavior, it raises serious concerns about oversight and accountability. Management should be more attentive to what is happening within their establishment, especially when it comes to creating a respectful and inclusive environment for all guests. It's disappointing because I've enjoyed staying here in the past. However, based on this experience, I don't feel comfortable returning and will choose to spend my money elsewhere moving forward.
