Terrible company and terrible people, they said their pest control spray is safe for cats and dogs, it's not and left me with my French Bulldog fighting for his life and a $2,100 vet bill and they did not give a single shit. Did not refund me my $175 initial visit fee, and almost cost me my dogs life. Do NOT choose these people they will lie to get your money and tell you good luck. No empathy, took no responsibility and are horrible people. I wouldn't start up service with them if they paid me. As for her response it's bullshit, I did followed the proper procedure for my dog not going near the spray while it was wet, and like I said yesterday I told you I'd leave a review in regards to my own personal experience I had with your company which would NOT be a good review unfortunately for you. If you want to compensate me for the vet bill I'd be happy to post receipts showing when you sprayed my house, and when he was taken to the VCA for an emergency visit. But again! I doubt you would have the common decency to take responsibility for your toxic products let alone pay for your company's damages. read more

I called Rodeo Pest Control as I found black droppings outside my home that looked like roden turds. They quickly fit me in, and leading up to my appointment they had excellent communication with me. The let me now Carlos would be coming out to service the property. Rodeo called the night prior to our appointment, and 10 minutes before Carlos's arrival. Once Carlos arrived, I should him the droppings. He immediately told me that they were not mouse droppings, but bat droppings, and educated me about how I could tell for myself. I asked many other questions, and was extremely impressed with his knowledge of all types of pests. This is the guy you want! He knows his stuff and has been in the High Desert for over two decades. Carlos went on to inspect the rest of the exterior, and even checked in my attic at my request. After inspecting everything, he said I have NO issues with mice/rats! Yay! I did express concern about some of the spiders I've seen in and around the exterior of the house (I believe I saw the Desert Recluse). I will 100% have Rodeo (and hopefully Carlos) come back to spray in early Summer. I love that they are a local business too, and not a BIG giant company that misleads you thinking they are local, and in actually they are not. Thank you Rodeo & Carlos especially! read more

This place is absolutely horrible. They lied and said they use a "natural" pesticide (I am conscious of the dangers of pesticides) and when they showed up, they brought one of the most common dangerous pesticides, bifenthrin, which is not natural in the least, and extremely toxic to humans, animals, and the environment. They continued to try to lie and say it wasn't a carcinogen, when it is listed on the EPA website as a carcinogen!! They trick people by pretending what they are doing is safe, when it is actually extremely toxic. I hope this place goes out of business. They are poisoning the desert read more

This is a late review. I have to say rodeo pest control is amazing. I moved into my new home and within a week I heard critters in my attic. I was extremely annoyed. I called around and rodeo was the most responsive and i felt more knowledgeable than some of the other companies spoke with. Carlos came out and did the trap out and I also opted to have them do the professional exclusion. I did not go with the additional service including setting and checking outdoor traps because I felt I could handle that on my own once the main problems were fixed. So all of that was back in November. It's basically April and still no critters inside my home. I am very happy with their services and will definitely use again. At this point it's up to me to keep the critters out. read more

Had a bit of an issue with a renter at my Airbnb falsely claiming bedbugs. Every time I call, Rebecca calls me back within minutes, an hour at the latest, and she has such a friendly voice! I greatly appreciate good customer service. They have different treatment options. One time treatment, monthly, bi monthly, every other month (if i remember correctly). I recently opted to sign up for their monthly service. I don't even need to call and set it up each month, they will call me. Which is great because i really hate making phone calls. The initial reason I sought their services was to treat red fire ants. Within a couple of hours of their tech spraying the property I didn't see a single ant in the yard. They offer great plans and will come spot treat in between treatments if needed, at no extra charge. I'm not due for another 2 weeks for them to come spray but I noticed new red ants in the front yard and they came and treated that spot. It's been very easy communicating and getting the service done. Glad I went with this company. read more

Rodeo is awesome. We experienced an ant infestation in our kitchen starting Saturday morning. On Monday morning it was time to call for the guys with the big guns. I called Rebecca at 9AM and reached her on my first attempt. She was very friendly and helpful and explained what they offer. She promised a Tech to come out the same day between noon and 4PM. Carlos showed up around 1PM. What a relief. While I was walking around the house with him, he explained everything what works and what doesn't and explained what he will do. He also told us straight forward not to be worried if we continue to seeing ants the following days as it will take some time for the pesticide to work. This was our first and only experience with Rodeo so far, but what we experienced was more than we expected. Thanks again Rebecca and Carlos for the super fast, professional and friendly service. Update 4/6/21 Everyone who had an ant infestation will probably agree, that a pest control service does not show up with a single silver bullet to say good bye to ants forever. This is a process where you want to tackle the root cause, meaning to kill the queen and the colony with a pesticide. And here again is where Rebecca and her team shine. They showed up again either same day or next day twice already after I called in, happily and with a smile to fight the new places where the ants found a new entry point. I've had my home in Joshua Tree for decades and hate when I have to call an exterminator (I like when nature resolves itself around the property), but, once a critter came in the eaves, I knew it was time. She doesn't use those cruel sticky traps or dangerous rat poisons...traps and thorough search and seals of entry points are the ticket. Being that I don't live full time here, I needed someone I could trust to come and go during the service times. Rodeo Pest Control's Yelp response for my original review is misleading and disingenuous. Termination of service was not because the pest problem was resolved -- it was not -- but because we were unsatisfied with the service and ended our lease to move to another property. I am not sure of the company's quality of service if it takes months to identify possible entry points for pests. The unpleasant smell of trapped rats was not because the rats could not escape from holes in the attic, but because the activated snare traps were not checked and reset in a timely manner. Finally, the company failed to mention that we also discussed our concerns over the phone and in person multiple times. Most of these interactions with Rodeo Pest Control, both over the phone and in-person, involved very poor customer service with a dismissive and rude attitude. We cannot in good conscience recommend her services. Buyer beware. read more

Not only do they truly care about ridding your home of unwanted pests, but they are extremely nice to work with. We feel so much better having the peace of mind that ants and other unwanted bugs/spiders are not going to come into our home. Our outside walkways and planters were infested, like many homes in the desert, with kissing bugs and just one service and they were gone. They were recommended from our neighbors who also use the same service and they said, "they are just the nicest people to work with."
