The situation was a bit of a unique case in that I had converted a sunroom into a second bedroom and there were some areas that were not finished well enough so it allowed for space for the rats to get in between the roof I put over the top and the mesh sunroom original finish. I do have guests staying frequently in that room so it had become absolutely not usable by the time they'd made their nests with night noises and, unfortunately, droppings. I am an animal lover so asked Michael if he could remove them without killing them and not only did he do that but he re-did the ceiling so it actually looks far better than before and even added a really beautiful rustic trim. I did my rounds in attaining quotes from the big termite companies, they were very expensive and told us we had other pest issues we would have to take care of when initially we just called for termite/fumigation. Ultimately I got a recommendation for Encite. At our first meeting Mike was honest and straight forward and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need, we knew we had to take our business to them. Mike confirmed what we assumed already about the other companies that they had lied to us about issues just to upsell their services. Since the fumigation we have had no issues and have since become quarterly pest control customers with Encite. Adam has been attentive to any issues we have with pest, we used to have a lot of ant issues and we no longer have those large ant infestations we would normally always expect after rain or in the summer.

One company offered a 1-time service, in lieu of an annual contract, at a ridiculous price point, and no guarantees of outcome. Using Yelp reviews I came upon Frazier Pest Control and saw excellent reviews for a local employee, Eric. I contacted the company, they fully explained their process to me, and they only offered a continuing contract if I wanted one. Their fee was reasonable and I booked a visit with them. I was so pleased when I was assigned Eric. He came in, listened to me, didn't take advantage that I was "freaked out" by the rodent, and he fully explained the process to me and why he was doing what he did. Eric laid the traps (both glue and snap). He checked back with me often over the next few weeks, assuring me that when something was caught, he'd come get it. Surprisingly this was one smart rodent. It took nearly 4-weeks, but eventually was caught. Eric showed up and took it away, and made a final appointment with me in a few days "just to be sure." Eric was amazing and Frazier is lucky to have him! Frazier and Eric is a STRONG RECOMMENDATION!

The card on file for my business stopped processing, which I was completely unaware of. I continued paying for my home service and would have immediately updated the card and paid the balance had I known. Instead, three $55 services accumulated and my account was sent to collections. What is especially frustrating is that my voicemail greeting provides my email address. One simple email could have resolved the entire situation. Management has since acknowledged that their communication efforts could have been stronger. I will gladly pay what I owe--this was never about avoiding a bill. As a local business owner myself, I simply would not handle a loyal customer this way. Unfortunately, after 10+ years, I've canceled my services and will take my business elsewhere. My reply to below response : Thank you for responding, but I do want to clarify a few things. My business relocated next door over a year ago and the address remained exactly the same, so the relocation has nothing to do with this issue. We are talking about only three months of missed payments. You state that multiple voicemails were left, yet my voicemail clearly says I respond by text or email and provides my email address. If repeated attempts were made to contact me, I don't understand how that information was missed. After more than 10 years as a loyal customer, sending a $185 balance to collections was extremely disappointing. I will gladly pay what I owe. However, when the technician arrived, they quoted me $715 and didn't honor that agreement--so I essentially ended up paying $150 just for someone to stand in my home for 5 minutes. Because I had already sunk the $150 into the visit, I felt stuck and felt like I had no choice but to just pay the higher amount to get the job done. While the service itself was fine, the communication felt misleading.
