0 stars if I could. Horrible customer service. This office simply has no reasonable way of sending and receiving patient information. I called and made an appointment with them. They called and canceled it and said I needed an X-ray first and then they could make another appointment. Getting the information to understand I needed an x ray and where to go and get it, etc. was unnecessarily difficult and time consuming. They don't have any system in place to process patients in a linear, easy way. I got the x-Ray and then made another appointment. They just left me a nasty message that they were going to cancel my appointment if they didn't get my insurance info within 24 hours even though my appointment was not for another 6 days. In all of my previous communication they never asked for this information nor do they have any methods for sending them an insurance card. They said they do everything by phone and text. I received no texts from the number they said they were sent from. They do not do email and they do not have a secure website or app that they use to exchange information with patients like every other modern day medical office. This made for tons of miscommunication or them forgetting to tell me vital information and forgetting to ask vital information (like an X-ray is needed before the appointment, getting my insurance info). I do not know if the podiatrists are any good at this location, but I do know it should not take this many calls and nastiness to simply make an appointment to see a doctor. I've seen many doctors and specialists in the last month while in town taking a break from my typical busy travel and work schedule. No other doctor's office was this difficult and time consuming to deal with... do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. These people will frustrate you to know end just in the appointment making process. They have no system or process. 6 phone calls for one appointment. By the last phone call we all mutually despised one another and want nothing to do with one another. I think it's safe to say that whatever "system" they have, it's not working for anyone.. certainly not their patients. Just to be clear every other office is able to say from call one what is required for an appointment (x ray, gather insurance information and referral information, etc. and make an appointment for a few days after the x ray. Simple stuff. This somehow evades this office and they do it in 6 calls and threaten to cancel your appointments all along the way because they forgot to get information up front that they should have asked for when making the appointment. read more

Went there to get an ingrown nail fixed, I've had a few ingrown nails before so I've been treated in different places and different countries. I have NEVER been in a clinic this barbaric. They had no special equipment, no lenses, no professional lighting and relied solely on poking around your toe to fix the ingrown nail. I had a huge chunk of my nail bed removed and a month later it still hasn't completely healed. I cannot stress enough how incredible Dr. Pourziaee is! I recently have had incredible problems with arthritis and other issues in my ankle/foot. The pain can be quite debilitating at times. I injured my toe nail over 25 yrs ago and just came accustomed to dealing with the fact that it would be damaged for life with a fungus underneath the toenail. I was referred to Doctor Pourziaee to look at it and after two laser treatments and hopefully just one more it's healed. No more embarrassing trips to the nail salon. His office staff is very helpful and sweet. Bobby is friendly and very informative. I highly recommend him. Parking is fairly easy and a quick walk to his office. I went to a few doctors over the past 4 years in regards to horrible pain in my feet. The doctor was more than helpful and Im currently 8 months with no pain. With covid lurking around some places have relaxed their cleaning but every time I go into the office someone is always wiping down rooms, door handles, or counters which is refreshing. DR Bobby Pourziaeee is not only a gentleman but a terrific surgeon. I have travel so much between Los Angeles and New York City and long been suffering with an ingrown toe nail. My friend said get to Dr Bobby FAST and she was right, I am normally terrified of surgeons and needles and the doctor made me feel at ease straight away and the procedure was fast and painless! This place scams insurance companies. They have spa treatment services like massages they allow you to charge to your insurance company. You pay the co-pay you would normally pay, and then they bill your insurance for something like $400 (for a "lab procedure") if you get a massage. A $60 massage they're making something like $425. That's great for you right? But for the greater good of society that's really bad. Everyone's insurance rates go up. Don't be a part of the problem. Just say NO to shady doctor practices. read more

I ruptured two ligaments (yes it's as painful as it sounds) and Dr. Bobby was wonderful. My diagnosis was dire but he reassured me by letting me know all my options and gave me his professional opinion (surgery vs no surgery, etc) I had a ton of questions and he addressed all of them. He put me on a plan to get better including instructions of what do at home, when to start physical therapy, how to strengthen my ankle, and what boot/cast would work best for me. He was always available by phone when I had a question or when something would flare up or hurt. Without his guidance and expert advice, I don't think I would be recovering as I am now. Ok, first of all I work in RETAIL for over 25 years, and even the best shoes in the world cannot protect you from all the wear and tear that occurs to the feet from standing 24/7. I'm surprised my feet have not just fallen off. I had a very bad case of plantar fasciitis which was destroying my life. All of my co-workers urged me to go see Dr. Bobby ASAP. I had never been to a podiatrist before. Dr. Pourziaee, (Dr. Bobby) gave me injections and some ultra sound, and I am completely fixed. I had been suffering from debilitating foot pain for over 2 years. I went to go see Dr. Pourziaee at Rodeo Drive Podiatry and he informed me that I needed to have a Bunionectomy. The bunion was causing so much pain it would keep me up at night and I could't wear any shoes. I lived in my Ugg boots. Because it's never the right time to have foot surgery I waited a long while until the time was right. When I was finally was ready to have the surgery done the Doctor and staff at Rode Drive Podiatry were so thoughtful, helpful and accommodating before, during and now still after my surgery, Although the healing time is a long process, I know that because of Dr. Pourziaee I will be better then ever and ready to put my dancing shoes back on in no time. After receiving all he could from my insurance, he abruptly stopped his services and billed my insurance for services not rendered. I would give him a zero star if possible. First of all your receptionist spoke with the insurance company on MY cell phone!! It's Anthem and any reputable office can get ahold of Anthem! If you listened to what the woman at anthem said you were not allowed to collect anything from a PPO patient when you are a participating provider. You must bill the insurance first. I did not scream at anybody I just simply left the office when I realized that you were trying to scam me for money. In fact the receptionist hinted that she didn't want me to be seen probably because I understand how insurance works and wouldn't of allowed you to fraudulently deal for things that weren't appropriate such as a bunion removal when I was coming in for something completely different as noted on the info sheet that I filled out. I was in a near death motorcycle accident that crushed my left side. My lower leg, ankle and foot were nearly amputated. Through my journey to surgically rebuild my foot and ankle I found it very difficult to get assistance from surgeons as my injuries are extensive and due to great trauma. I am going to keep my review short and sweet. I just want to say that Dr Bobby has the best bedside manner of any podiatrist I have come across yet. He takes his time and truly listens to your story. I have seen many foot doctors over the past several years... And in multiple states! In 2007, in my home state, I had foot surgery ( both feet). Instead of helping relieve pain, it has caused me a lot of pain physically and emotionally. I have only seen Dr Bobby a couple of times so far and I can't predict what the ultimate results are going to be. However for the first time in a long time, I feel like somebody is truly listening and trying to help me the best they possibly can. Dr Bobby and his staff have been nothing short of professional, courteous and extremely comforting every time I have been in. Getting rounds of injections is never pleasant, but Dr Bobby has an aura about him that makes the process very comforting. I would highly recommend Dr Bobby and his team to anyone that has foot or ankle issues and look forward to my next visit! I took a heavy fall on my ankle 20 years ago and have had problems with it ever since. After a few years of putting up with the constant pain, aggravation and inflammation, I saw a top ankle specialist and had surgery to have bone fragments removed. This worked for a couple of years before the constant aggravation returned. I lead a very active lifestyle and started getting concerned that my ankle problems were going to seriously impact what I could do. I went back to see the specialist, had another MRI, and was basically told my options were to fuse the joint (which would completely limit all activity for the rest of my life!) or to get cortisone injections to mask the pain. The cortisone would only be temporary and would not in any way help heal my ankle. Given these were my only options, I had 3 or 4 cortisone injections in the last 10 years, which certainly helped keep me active, but I have felt my ankle continue to deteriorate and become arthritic over the years. I had a colleague refer me to Dr Bobby Pourziaee a few months back and thought I've got nothing to lose. After reviewing my MRI results, Dr Bobby suggested a round of PRP injections could help heal the damage to the tendons and ligaments. I have had two courses of injections so far and am very happy with the results. I have been running and hiking daily without the level of discomfort that I was previously experiencing. My ankle certainly isn't 100%, but it's considerably better than it was, especially given it's only been 6 weeks and I still have another round of PRP injections to go. Dr Bobby Pourziaee is simply outstanding and well worth consulting if you have any form of foot or ankle issue that needs attention. Update - I've now had 4 rounds of injections and I am continuing to feel an improvement with my ankle. I am experiencing considerably less pain than I was previously and seem to have a better range of movement. Don't get me wrong, I am still bothered by my ankle during high intensive sports but noticeably less than I was. Certain activities / sports that used to cause pain or inflammation don't seen to such an issue now. read more

Dr. Bobby performed surgery to remove a bone spur from lateral side of 1st metatarsal two months ago. My foot was bandaged and wrapped for a month afterwards (once so tight, I could not bear the pain so I cut the plaster wrap off), and since then I have a new bulge (feels like a marble beneath my foot) and inflammation around the 5th metatarsal that has the appearance of a Tailor's bunion. I am worse off now then before the surgery. Not only do I have stiffness and pain in my 1st metatarsal, I now have additional pain and inflammation in my 5th metatarsal. The doctor is only in Bishop once a month and refuses to call me to go over a plan. I had surgery in hopes of wearing a regular shoe again and still can't put my foot comfortably in a shoe, and definitely not a climbing shoe. read more

I was in Los Angeles for a business trip when on my way to a meeting, I feel down some stairs and seriously hurt my foot. I thought it would just go away but after seeing the pain wasn't passing, I decided that I should go and see a podiatrist to make sure that nothing was seriously wrong. Dr. Pourziaee was incredible. I was able to get an appointment and into the office immediately and the process was so easy and quick! Dr. Pourziaee was very careful to examine all possibilities and extremely clear about his findings and next steps to take. My foot is happy and healthy thanks to Dr. Pourziaee. this doctor received me very cool and selfish manner, He spend almost 5 minute office visit only, nothing else. and did always nothing for me, later I received a report from my insurance that showed he billed my insurance for 5 other expensive procedures he never did nor I had those problems,, patient need be carful check the report of your insurance ,if you find he billed your insurance for any procedure he never did, you better to report to your insurance for investigation.I never went back to him ,I never do in future. I'm a girly girl who had attrocious feet, but thanks to Dr. Pourziaee they look and feel so much better. I grew up dancing and the shape of my feet illustrate that. From running I had damaged my toenails, and I often wear heels...in short, my feet were in bad shape. Dr. Pourziaee has helped make-over my feet in so many ways. He custom fit me for orthodics for my running shoes- I no longer have pain when running. He also made orthodics that I can wear with my heels (didn't even know that was an option)!! I had a damaged toenails from running and he prescribed a great nail treatment. The office is clean and modern, they have great magazines, bright decor, clean.... such a difference from the other podiatry offices that looked like a set from 1977. Dr. Pourziaee was so very kind, took his time and listened to my needs. I really appreciated his professionalism and help! Definitely recommend! And whenever that "friend" of mine needs surgery for her bunions, "she" will go to Dr. Pourziaee too! read more
